Please give your baby's favourite foods so we can get some ideas from each other.

Evenin.

Just passing through an wanted to say hia.

You can do it chasing. That email was the first step of your escape.

lilly my DH and I toasted you over dinner last night. You will never go through that day again.

P's bedroom is a shit tip. Theoretically it is off white with Ikea primary coloured stuff.

Right. I am off for an early night. P and I have the same mother fucking cough so we were both up most of the night. I have almost no voice at all - prone to laryngitis - so it has been a quiet day. Mind you, P finds the huskiness hilarious

Kyzordz · 26/05/2013 20:56

Hope you both feel better soon pass

E doesn't have his own room yet but when he does I wanted to do the very hungry caterpillar theme because its great I am sad

E loved that hummus stuff. I nearly puked. Hid it well though! He also loved the sauce with teeeeeny pasta. Result!

ValiumQueen · 26/05/2013 21:03

1674, 1675, 1676, 1677, and breathe...

On a positive note, J was sick over SIL and laughed. Just a small bit, but enough to get a reaction Grin

He is much better today and drank much more than he has done for the last 10 days. He is also very chatty, which is adorable.

I am a bit fed up that I cooked dinner and was left to do all the washing up myself. Poor show I reckon. And DH came to bed early as he was tired.

The new mattress is very very comfy apparently and MIL says she feels she can stay longer. Shot myself in the fucking foot there Grin

Night night all x hugs to those in need, and wishing good nights for us all. Pass, hope you and P feel better very soon x

ChasingDaisy · 26/05/2013 21:05

kyz I love the very hungry caterpillar.

pass when I had laryngitis the nurse told me that teachers tend to be prone to it. That was a lovely gesture from you and your DH. Little P is a lucky girly to have such thoughtful parents.

Being back in my home town today made me feel homesick. Considering moving back there but is expensive compared to where I am now.

ValiumQueen · 26/05/2013 21:06

Oh, and J is also in a shit pit themed room. Perhaps it is a regional thing Pass. It will be Peter Rabbit themed as soon as I get a chance to put the decs up.

Evilwater · 26/05/2013 21:10

Two firsts today, one swimming in the pool and the other a digestive biscuit. Both were fantasic to watch Grin N seemed to like the water and had a massive splash around, as well as watching everyone Grin it was wonderful. P didn't want to come Sad
Then after lunch we went to the park, in the sunshine playing on the swings. p took some photos and then disappeared after 5 mins.Hmm So then we went to grandmas. We both had supper, and felt sleepy. I'm off to bed now, Grin

Well I survived the hen do, DH survived having the girls for 2 nights and both my beautiful daughters survived a weekend without me so all's good. I was concerned about how E would be, I knew DD1 would be absolutley fine but am very relived that I now know that I can leave E and she'll be fine with DH.

I haven't had a chance to catch up on thread so will do so now. Hope everyone has been ok, babies behaving and everyone is enjoying the bank holiday sunshine.

Evilwater · 26/05/2013 21:15

A question for the quiche!
In my will I've said that I want my sister to look after N, P is not to happy about this, and wants to know. Will he have to go to court to see his son? And does he get him automatically?

If so then he wants me to change my will. I do not. I've said it's up to SS to place N, and they decide. But he won't take my word.
Help please!

Love other people's bedroom ideas! lily my DD has a jungle theme, I wanted something fun but not girly, and she loved the giraffes on a recent zoo trip, so that was easy. DS had a rocket theme, mainly because we inherited a room with stars wallpaper on the ceiling. He currently has 2 pink walls which need repainting though. kyz hungry caterpillar theme is lovely.

chasing your day in the garden sounds lovely. Just think how nice every day will get to feel when you don't have to go back. Also we have many, many things from Not On The High Street and many people get similar things from us as gifts.

Happy Mother's Day PR

We are visiting parents this weekend who had a houseful. DC only DC and complete centre of attention. Both behaved beautifully and charmed everyone. Proud mummy emoticon.

Donnadoon · 26/05/2013 21:25

Evil I would think that N would automatically go to his Father as he is Ns next of kin...not your sister. I honestly don't know if they would over ride your will or not , Ask a solicitor for sure.

ChasingDaisy · 26/05/2013 21:28

Evil I think N would only automatically go to your P if you were married. Don't quote me though. I'm sure there will be someone with more knowledge along shortly.

ChasingDaisy · 26/05/2013 21:50

I need to go to sleep...

ChasingDaisy · 26/05/2013 21:50

But post 666 is taunting me...

ChasingDaisy · 26/05/2013 21:50

Shall I?

ChasingDaisy · 26/05/2013 21:50

Oh, go on then.

Night Grin

Dixiebell · 26/05/2013 22:00

Ha! Well done chasing.

Dixiebell · 26/05/2013 22:02

VQ, that is inexcusable. It is DH's job to either do the washing up or corral his rellies into doing it.

StuntNun · 26/05/2013 22:45

Evil I'm no expert but if you were to die then the case would go before a court to decide who would become responsible for N. If your partner is on the birth certificate then he would normally keep N because he has parental responsibility. However since you have named your sister as guardian then the court would have to make a decision. Note that the court don't necessarily have to choose either your partner or your sister, they could appoint a grandparent for example. The court would act in the best interest of the child. In my opinion it is unlikely that they would appoint an aunt as guardian instead of the father unless there were clear evidence that the father was unsuitable, for example if he was a drug addict or criminal. You really need to consult your solicitor to get proper legal advice.

Errr I have read. But I can't remember very much at all Blush

Evil sounds like you had a nice day.
Ditto chasing
VQ sounds like total gash

Loving hearing about bedrooms - Fs is a pale yellow with some wall stickers, and bunting. Got to love bunting!

Had a nice evening in a civilised bar in normal clothes Grin. F woke within 20 minutes of me leaving the house though, it's like she knows I've gone. DH managed for 2 hours though - and it's not as though those hours of the day are her happiest hours! All tucked up in bed now though, where I am about to follow.

Night xx

TheDetective · 26/05/2013 22:56

Guess who is asleep without a swaddle....!!!!!!!!!!! Shock

It was lovely cuddling an actual baby as he fell asleep, rather than a giant slug. Which is what a swaddled O felt like Grin.

Giant slug Detective...Love it ! We've always called grow bags -slug bags in our house.

Bryzoan · 27/05/2013 01:20

G is 6 months old today. He has a bit of a cold so is choosing to celebrate with a night of 1000 transfer fails. If anyone up and reading would mentally urge him to go the fuck to sleep I would be much obliged Smile

Bryzoan · 27/05/2013 01:24

Vq - did you ask dh to wash up? As you cooked and will be up tonight it only sounds fair. I know you shouldn't have to ask but sometimes these chaps need things to be put clearly unless they are luis.

Bryzoan · 27/05/2013 01:35

Way to go detective Grin
