Gah, posted at 3am but the stupid app must have lost it! Lost count of the amount of times I was up with S last night, we both have a terrible cold, she's reall snotty and bunged up at the same time. Can anyone recommend a good snot sucker? I have the bulb one that come with the tommee tippee health care set and its rubbish. I brought her in with me at 3 as I was to achey to keep getting up to her and dp is on nights.

pr Thanks I'd really like for you to get that weekend away more than I'd like for myself to go away, you definitely deserve it!

chasing it must be so hard for you, I think deep down you know the right thing to do, it's just bringing yourself to actually do it, but you will, one day.

BrewBrewBrewBrewBrewBrew To everyone who had crap nights, I myself am drinking a very strong one! I'm stopping in today so have the added task of trying to keep S a little quieter than usual so dp can sleep.

fruit our snot sucker is great. It has a long tube and you suck with your mouth. I cannot for the life of me remember what it is called. Ew! DH just picked it up to see what it is called and a big string of snot came out! Ew.

Anyway, it is called the 4 Little 1 nose clearer.

No snow in my part of the SW dixie

Doing a dream feed made fuck all difference. DS still woke at 4 and wouldn't go back to sleep, so he's already has an hour long first nap of the day.

Brew for others with crap nights

Dh slept in the spare room last night, not sure why. Anyway. He's out all night tonight. Told him I might not be home to see him. In fact I'd got no intention of coming home. Perhaps I should.

Interesting blog chick. And interesting comments. I accept that body underwent physical changes and to be fair im back in my 'normal' clothes. I'm happy mostly with how I look.

vq I hope your household is better.

Hope you all had ok nights. Ds did 11-5.45

Sorry for not posting, but I have news.
I have been told we are going to move. Yes told, I'm not really happy about moving I like where I live. Well if he wants to move he can do all the leg work.

Baby evil is starting to like being on his front, yay!

I also have a lump, on my fanjo. It's been there for a few days and its not going away or getting smaller. Ill give it a week and see what happens.

Why am I always surrounded by bad news.

Horsey I can see both sides, the - I want to be back to who I was before I had a baby and feel like me - is very valid, but I like the side that allows me to eat cake guilt free!!! Lol!! I mean its all very personal isn't it. But reading that - for me - changed my mindset a bit and I felt that I didn't have to be so hard on myself for not loosing it n 6 months.

Why don't you get a say in the decision Evil? Is it a work thing? DH has been asked to move to Trier in Germany but he has always refused (so far). Eventually he will have to do at least two years in another country so we may end up in Trier, Geneva or Montreal. I told him I draw the line at Japan though, I don't think I could handle such a different culture and it would be very hard for the children. Are you moving a long way Evil?

Not sure what to think of last night.

Good: Only one night feed.

Bad: Multiple transfer fails at start of night. Four failed transfer attempts after 1am feed resulting in him sleeping with me from 1:30. No sleep for me from 1:30.

Yeah, I think bad wins.

Derective the sleep issues we are having now seem to be very similar to what you have been describing lately. As O2 is a few days younger than O1 it seems likely that it is a regression of sorts.

I would love to go to Japan. Was supposed to go for my 40th but had a baby instead.

chick whole heartedly agree!! The thing that took me a while to get is that I won't ever be the 'old' me because of what I've been through. Ill not have life again. Which is fine. I've got an equally good 'new' me :)

evil where too? stunt dh got offered a 12 month secondment to Germany. We were just starting to get the wheels in motion when his mum got ill.

Dixie- we had snow on the moor. It's about 15 mins drive away, I can't see what the fuss was about they always get snow.

It's a work thing, as he is running out of work space for his business. The thing is if the MIL left then he could but up more sheds against the house. But no he needs her! As for distance it can be anywhere, just even a couple of roads over.

Oh, and I have to work to sort out the paper work for me going back as part time. Joy. So I better get LO and I ready as N is staying with my mum.

If anyone knows what my LO wants can they let me know. I can't work it out.

We seems to be in development leap central.

Last night he woke at 4.30 and flipped onto front in grobag and was trying to crawl up cot to Ewan. Ended up in my bed as I needed more sleep. He slept til 8.

He is the worlds most frustrated crawler, I almost want him to be on the move as it would stop the crying!

Pass excellent post in old thread!

I will keep dipping in and out of old thread to try catch up but Im pretty sure it won't happen!

I took J to GP this morning to query the wheat allergy/intolerance. She thinks I'm a nutter. Short version is that she has never seen it show as a skin reaction and doesnt therefore think that's an indicator. However I have come away with a referral to paeds so time will tell. In the meantime I will avoid wheat as it just seems too much if a cooincidence that if I eat wheat J's skin reacts.

Last night was the best night I've had in months...

Midnight til 2.15am then 2.40am til 5am then 5.30-7

It's bad that the above sum total of J sleeping for 6hrs 5mins is considered good!!! I didn't sleep that whole time as I take ages to settle back to sleep and also need copious loo runs!

BigPigLittlePig · 16/05/2013 09:49

Izzy glad you've got a referral. And well done J.
Luis very nice!
Evil make sure you let dp do all the donkey work. Moving is a nightmare.

F lurves her toast. She tolerated the weetabix, all the while eyeing my breakfast, then when I cut her off a corner, her legs started going mental and she was panting with excitement. Only the crust was left once she'd got her dribbly chops into it.

Lovely day today - my gran is getting the train down to see us, and we're going to the gardens where me and dh had our wedding reception. She's treating me to lunch, nom nom. And not a trace of snow here, dixie - sunshine Smile

E's best night ever (went from 7pm-7am and then back to sleep at 7:30 and had to wake her at 8am) coincides with DD1's worst night for a long time where she was awake from midnight till 3:30am. She was actually awake longer, I fell asleep and left her too it. So am fucking knackered. How's your luck!

Sorry no time to catch up, just wanted to mark place and have a rant whilst at it! Will catch up later....

Luis I had a look at rental prices on rightmove, just out of interest. Very similar to here it seems. Interesting.

Oscar has been sneezing and coughing a bit today and I feel very rough. Hard to tell if it is just lack of sleep though. Moan moan moan.

Your day sounds lovely pig Smile

Mowning.

Hia izzy. Glad you got the referral anyway.

eilza that sounds harsh. Good little E though.

We went to docs to get the prediction for omeprazole filled. He has obviously never given it as syrup before as his response to seeing it on their list was "oo jings!" He was pretty relieved when I said I was fine with tablets.

pikz I am with you on the wish they would just get moving. P has been waking up because she can't help herself rolling over. She also stares longingly up the cot at the various creatures up there. She is extra hindered due to the raise on the mattress though.

Back from the paed's. Her advice re sleeping through was more carbs, more solids... LO is 7 months in three days and she's not eating enough solid food. I had a bit of a Nestlé rant and apparently some children do prefer processed crap. In fact it is quite common, and I am not to worry about it. It doesn't mean that she will always be a fussy eater. Anyway...

She now weighs just over 8kg, but only 65 cm, so is still short and tubby, and she refused to show off how good she is at sitting up. She was friendly and smily though, so it's complete strangers that she doesn't like.

MIL has managed to piss me off via FB messenger. Smetimes I would like to close my FB account.

stunt come to Trier. It's a gorgeous city and Germany is very family friendly. Lots of English speaking doctors, and there are international schools in Luxembourg so you could live between the two. And we could have Ikea meet ups. Personally I'd choose Montreal, but only because I live near Trier and Montreal seems more exotic.

Geneva is good too but a bit far for an ikea meet up

I want to eat horseballs with quichesters

Oh and Trier has the most amazing ice cream parlours. Amazing. Oh yeah and the cathedral, the river, the roman ruins, the shopping (fab, btw) and the nightlife but the best part is the ice cream. In fact I have been wondering how to fill our weekend with fun activities to replace my trip to the mountains and I think a trip to Trier to eat ice cream might be in order.
