Ipad posting fatima?! Grin

Ma We have night time swaddled, day times just wrapped in a blanket covering his face not tightly. I do think he sleeps better in the swaddle, I just don't have the effort to force him in the bloody thing 6 times a day.

I might start doing it though, as when he does nap he constantly wakes, but quickly goes back with the white noise. I'm just fed up of jumping up and dumping my phone next to him.

DP is going to put the white noise on disk, and we are going to get a portable cd player. So I can just leave it on for the duration of all sleeps his nap.

Detective is tired. My fanjo aches. My toes ache? Why? No idea. Confused

My baby clothes clear out is going well. I'm listing them on facebook, and they are being sold instantly. Put hats on before, and they were sold after 2 minutes Shock.

O had his first go in a high chair today - the Ikea one. We will copy everyone else, and get one! MIL is getting it for us. Am off to see the lovely Brockle in Ikea tomorrow, but since MIL is getting the highchair, am going back the next day with her lol! Ikea 2 days running. Help me!!

I want my bed. I hope O feels the same. Hmm

TheDetective · 25/03/2013 23:28

Looks like it is Ikea all round tomorrow then fatima Grin

I asked DP to remind me to do something earlier. He has forgotten what it was. So have I. Angry

Bloody hate it when that happens.

If anyone remembers, can you let me know?! Grin

FatimaLovesBread · 25/03/2013 23:28

luis it's just easier for me to go. He doesn't fit on the sofa where as I find it really comfy. Plus if I manage to wake him up, he grumps and loads that he can't help it and it's not his fault. I just can't be arsed with the hassle so I huff off downstairs. Don't particularly like being down here without M though.

He normally stops snoring after a couple of hours so i'll go back up then

FatimaLovesBread · 25/03/2013 23:33

Ooh which Ikea detective? Warrington or Ashton? I prefer Ashton but tomorrow I'm going to the Leeds one as I'm meeting my niece at Krispy Kreme nearby.
Also, what groups are you listing te clothes on? Just local selling ones?
I want to list mine but I worry that the ILs peopl will see that I'm listing them and get annoyed at me selling them rather than passing them on. DH has some pregnant relatives but I could do with the money.

TheDetective · 25/03/2013 23:42

Warrington! Is much closer for me Grin.

KRISPY KREME. Oh fuck. I love them. Post me one Grin.

Yes, just listing them on local selling page! Just start a selling page and then list them. Lots of others don't do it under their real name. Ie. set up a new facebook called Fatima's selling page. And then list away!

I need the money too. I just get his next lot of clothes with it. I'm not selling anything else though. Keeping all the bigger bits of equipment!

Wish I could remember what I was supposed to remember. It is going to keep me awake now. Hmm

kirrinIsland · 25/03/2013 23:43

Where/how do you find the selling groups on eBay?

Fatima that sounds a reasonable plan to me. Win win if it also gets you away from the snoring :)
I have put N in the second seat on the PnT a couple of times because she hates the lie flat bit now - she shouldn't really be in there til 6 months but I only do it in short bursts so I figured it's ok.

TheDetective · 25/03/2013 23:45

I just put sell/sale/selling plus local towns in to the search bar :)

LuisGarcia · 25/03/2013 23:50

Fatima it doesn't sound ridiculous to me, I've been on the mattress on the floor in L's room with her since January.

TheDetective · 26/03/2013 00:05

O is running out of ironed clothes. Forgot to take Gaviscon out today. One feed missing it has resulted in 6 changes of clothes. Fucksake.

This iron better arrive before 9am tomorrow!

PurplePidjin · 26/03/2013 00:21

Evening all

R's been in his nappy since 6:15 and it's still dry. 1 1/2 hour cluster fuck feed before he slept, he's just had the first of the night. Gave calpol and calgel at 7 for teething. He seems well but... Confused

LuisGarcia · 26/03/2013 01:43

Hi to the wideawake club.

LuisGarcia · 26/03/2013 02:11

oh.

Izzybuzzybuzzybees · 26/03/2013 02:12

Hello everyone. First feed of night here. 3hrs45 mins between feeds according to my app. Wish I'd stopped MNing and went to bed when he did.

Attempting transfer!

PurplePidjin · 26/03/2013 02:14

He slept for an hour. Fed for 30 minutes. Slept just long enough for me to get back in bed. I'm now sat in the dark hoping Ewan works his magic fretting about UTIs Sad

LuisGarcia · 26/03/2013 02:15

Wish I'd stopped MNing and went to bed when he did. If your app tells you how long he is about to sleep then share, otherwise don't worry about it.

PurplePidjin · 26/03/2013 02:29

Ewan didn't work but i just changed a nice soggy nappy and put his now-dry-and-warm woollies over the top instead of fleece. Fingers crossed...

kirrinIsland · 26/03/2013 02:52

Good luck with the transfers

I haven't made it into bed yet. Every transfer has failed. She did go down for 20 minutes at the start of the night but that just gave me time to clean teeth, wash face, check on DD1 etc - I was just getting into bed when she woke up, and she hasn't lasted more than 5 minutes since. She's asleep on me fine though. I have vague recollections of talking about newborn sleep whilst pregnant and uttering the words 'well, she can't be worse than DD1' How wrong was I?!

PurplePidjin · 26/03/2013 03:10

I'm here, kirrin. Looks like my sleep regression is a weekly thing there's something about Tuesdays! Hmm

ValiumQueen · 26/03/2013 03:56

First feed of the night. That was 7.5 hours!

izzy any charity book shop will have those books I would think. Also amazon or ebay are often practically giving them away.

My boy is brand new on the new formula. Long may it continue.

He is 22 weeks on thursday. He has only slept that long once before.

Limpit80 · 26/03/2013 04:18

Im here too. LO has been wide awake for about an hour. He was chatting away to himself happily, but when I checked he was wet and everything needed changing! So I changed him, started feeding and he did a huge poo! Shock and everything needed changing again!
He's just gone back to sleep on me after shouting his head off for the last 10 mins.

Kyzordz · 26/03/2013 04:45

I'm here, but not because of Eric. He is asleep, I am not! He Is shuffling now though since I got up to go to the toilet and like a fat twat stumbled over nothing and made a racket. Wouldn't mind another hour or so asleep, so am hoping he isn't actually going to wake just yet!

PurplePidjin · 26/03/2013 05:04

Back once again

FrownsAndDimples · 26/03/2013 05:16

2nd waking here. N clearly a D4 damager with the ill behaviour purple!

kirrinIsland · 26/03/2013 05:27

Back again!

limpet I swear they often save huge poos for clean nappy!

VQ Sounds like J is doing really well :) Hopefully the new formula will keep him happy.

N is so windy it's unbelievable! I'm wondering if I should cutting things out of my diet - although tinterweb suggests there's no need, and I wouldn't know where to start anyway. It only seems to bother her at night.

wellieboots · 26/03/2013 05:30

my God, I feel like a lurker, missed this and the previous thread! haven't caught up with thread so off to do that now!
