Hi sheep and yoko

Sleep still worse here than before 17 weeks. He's 20 weeks today.

kyz I bake with DD (2) and DS watches from a bouncer. I have to do everything very fast, and by hand, because DD does like the food processor "no like it", said very firmly. Grin

Re virginity, I lost mine to my DH. Ahhhhh. But not after marriage, and not in a he's the only man for me way. We dated when we were teenagers. It was a couple of weeks before my 16th birthday. I was the last of my friends. We broke up a few months later. Stayed in touch. Had what I thought would be a quick and dirty fling 10 years later, which wouldn't get my numbers up anymore. I blinked and we're married with 2 DC!

Thanks for recognising me detective! I tried so hard to post in the early days but you guys are just so hardcore

Virginity? I was 17, my boyfriend was a riddled Keith from Prodigy lookalike. It was horrendous :(

Looking forward to this sleep regression business :( am I right in thinking it's because they feed less during the day because they're too easily distracted??

I will just get the ikea one vq when I get round to going to sodding ikea! I think he would sit and watch for the most part, I just had visions of him randomly starting screaming just as I need to take something out of the oven or something! madam your dd sounds cute, I get where she's coming from with the food processor, they are quite scary... And take too long to wash, might aswell do it by hand lol!

I should get dressed really.

That is quite sweet madam re your dh, my Aunty and her husband did similar, were together at 16, split but married years later and have 3 dc's now

School is closed by snow! I asked DS1 if he would tidy up his bedroom and he said he wanted to play with his Captain America Lego. He did not like my suggestion that he plays Captain America Tidies His Bedroom. Hmm

I lost my virginity to my DH as well. On our wedding night. Blush Collective group Aaaaw please.

catbag yep I bobbed over a few times but got outplayed by everyone else! :)

contra he's 19 weeks tomorrow. Gonna own up and say he's never slept through but only wakes for 10 mins for a comfort suck for a feed and drops back off straight away. Does this mean I'm lucky or lazy or making a rod (hate that phrase)? :)

yoko my lo does the same. I'd be fine with it if the monkey didn't need about half an hour of winding after even a 3 min suck. since been shown an additional upside down technique (trying to find on YouTube vq, hard to describe!) it was like the Olympics last night. he slept through it all. which is somat I guess.

I don't think I'm ever eating again. Got some new jeans yesterday, first thing I have got for myself since ds was born (seriously). I got a size 14, thinking i'd have lots of room. I do not. They barely do up. Was a size 10 before I got pregnant :'(

Am not happy. Am gutted actually

Sorry, very very shallow post

In other news, mechanic has just brought my car back. They are somewhat perplexed in that it has just started working again, with minimal intervention. They bump-started it to get it to the garage and it has worked fine since then Hmm Not complaining, but absence of a problem means absence of fixing, which in my world, means that it will go wrong while I am 50 miles from home and out with the twins. Maybe.

Kyz you are not shallow. I think everyone of us often feels like that. I have a paddy every time I open my wardrobe of beautiful clothes and realise none fit me. Hugs.

kyz hugs - don't forget it actually isn't that long since you've had E. Please don't be hard on yourself :(

Snow is really bad up my way. So bad that Alton Towers has actually closed!! Shock I've never known Towers to shut, crazy stuff.

Catbag · 22/03/2013 08:53

kyz Not shallow at all, especially if you have spent a lot of time being a smaller size. I hate the way bits of my body wobble when I walk. I am seriously not used to it. And you would have thougt that breastfeeding twins would be a good way of shedding weight, but no, mine is one of thise bodies that refuses to let go of any weight until it is sure that I might not need to emergency-feed an infant. That is usually about 18 months after I have finished feeding :(

pikz If i have not got to ikea by the time you come home, I am totally holding you to that! Grin

I can suggest an alternative to going to IKEA - the eBay iPhone app! There's an antilop high chair on there for less that 30 quid Inc. postage.

Morning dudes.

Welcome to newbies sheep and ruby and welcome back yoko

Sorry for lack of summary yesterday - Dexter and a non-snoozing P got in the way.

I hate it when garages can't find problems catbag. I have lost track k the number of times I have reported noises only to e told they can't find anything. This is always followed by some sort of catastrophic failure which was indicated by the fecking noise.

Good job VQ and detective on fighting the good fight. I am only sorry that you haven't had immediate solutions. The CMPI/Reflux issue is just so hard to deal with. We thought P had chronic wind and had been treating that - when we told the docs at hospital that they all nodded sagely as the symptoms can be really similar. Weirdly, I was never massively convinced by the CMPI diagnosis for P but the docs seemed to be searching for something else. Once they settled on that they seemed happy. Her symptoms were 100% reflux but didn't seem to match CMPI. The docs seemed happy that not all babies match all symptoms. The Nutramigen Lipl formula she is on is easier to digest anyway so if nothing else it helped her gut development. VQ I could give you a tin of nutramigen if you think it would help. It is used for CMPI and lactose intolerance. I think you can buy it over the counter but it is expensive.

I am taking P to the docs today for her tummy rash. I also have wondered over the last few days if she might have a urine infection. She has been a bit weepy, not so many smiles and I am fairly certain she has been whimpering a bit when she wees sometimes. She has also been squirming around a lot - almost like she has a sore back. She has also been farting a lot however so it could just as easily be trapped wind.
