Any tips on how to fix the reverse cycling then anyone?!

PurplePidjin · 24/03/2013 15:54

Yes, i have a friend who irons muslins. I only iron things I'm about to sew, and even then i often make dp do it as he's had many more years of practice. I like jersey tops and am adept at careful draping on clothes horse or line!

PR dp also has an infinitely better clothes and shoe collection to me. I currently have 6 tops i can wear, 4 of which were Christmas presents. My 14 jeans are hanging round my arse but I'm too scared to try my 12s as I'm still nearly 12 stone SadBlush

ValiumQueen · 24/03/2013 15:54

I used to love ironing, in fact I used to ask the officers to bring their shirts in and I would take them home to iron. Thankfully I have since got a life.

ValiumQueen · 24/03/2013 15:56

izzy I would think offering boob every 3 hours in the day? What is the longest he has slept? How are you keeping?

pp thank you. He is chewing it.

ValiumQueen · 24/03/2013 15:57

pr you mentioned Dexter the other night. We are only up to episode 4 series 7 over here sadly.

PetiteRaleuse · 24/03/2013 16:09

I will keep my lips sealed til you have seen the next four episodes then. Much better than I expected though I don't see where they can go from here.

Pikz · 24/03/2013 16:10

PR how bad do the amoxicillin shats get?

PetiteRaleuse · 24/03/2013 16:13

Though now I have noticed the resemblance to my ex I like him far less :(

I can't wait to use the H&M gift vouchers that DH.S gave us for LO.s birth. Can't wait to update my wardrobe. And I hate buying clothes so that shows how rubbish my current collection is.

PetiteRaleuse · 24/03/2013 16:15

pikz it's not diarrea as such they are just very regular ie each time she feeds there is a rumble and out they come. I no longer change before feeds I wait til the inevitable shart happens.

TheDetective · 24/03/2013 16:28

Fucking iron. Cleaned out my bank. Arse.

DP has been winding me up ordering his fucking laptop. Hmm

Seriously, he is highly irritating when it comes to doing anything involving money or ordering goods or using the internet. Combine all 3, and he is ready to spontaneously combust.

I would like 5 minutes peace. Please.

ValiumQueen · 24/03/2013 16:37

J has had 3 huge poos in quick succession and is now less grumpy. Thank fuck.

Dexter reminds me of an ex too pr (from Oxford before you panic) and that is why I like him even more than I did. It was you saying that the other week that made me think 'ooh'

PetiteRaleuse · 24/03/2013 16:49

I'd forgotten how fascinating poos become when weaning starts.

Pikz · 24/03/2013 16:59

Thanks PR that's what we have here.

kirrinIsland · 24/03/2013 17:04

I no longer iron anything - this has changed my life!

I have been wearing the same four tops since N was born cos they are easy to BF in. I have debenhams and new look vouchers from Christmas to spend and I can't wait! I am however wearing my normal Jane Norman jeans for the first time since November still have to tuck my belly in though

Pikz · 24/03/2013 18:13

This week gets better and better...add in teething!

ValiumQueen · 24/03/2013 18:40

pikz sorry to hear that. All these things shall pass x

PetiteRaleuse · 24/03/2013 18:40

DD1 has spent the last 90 minutes puking. Loads of mucous, like in the diarrea earlier in the week. Back to the paed tomorrow then.

will this never fucking well end????

BigPigLittlePig · 24/03/2013 18:52

I had a lovely glass of Wine with my roast dinner - YUM!

pr feel free to start sweary Wednesday at any point

ValiumQueen · 24/03/2013 18:55

PR oh dear Sad I guess the pneumonia has left her extra susceptible to everything. Being at nursery will expose her to everything going. I remember a time with DD1 when she was ill all the time I wondered why I bothered sending her.

ValiumQueen · 24/03/2013 18:56

bp more details of dinner please....

BigPigLittlePig · 24/03/2013 19:02

If you insist vq

Roast duck breasts, roast potatoes - sweet and normal, roast carrots, mangetout, broccoli and cauliflower white and green trees

DH just finishing off a victoria sponge for pudding.

BigPigLittlePig · 24/03/2013 19:03

And wine is a rather nice merlot, going down a treat bit too easy tbh

ValiumQueen · 24/03/2013 19:04

Sweet and normal? Gravy or sauce? Sounds awesome!

PetiteRaleuse · 24/03/2013 19:05

Sounds yum.

Well nursery will be over in a week and I think I'm going to take a career break so we can leave illness til school.

I just want one full week with no illness. I'm at the end of my tether it fels relentless.
