Passmethecrisps · 23/03/2013 13:22

That's shit PP. I am sorry.

capedcrusader25 · 23/03/2013 13:27

:( sorry pp

I wouldn't do anything this weekend pass - it's next weekend they go forward ;)

ValiumQueen · 23/03/2013 13:27

pp sorry.

Poo was awesomely lovely. Like a good korma.

fruitpastilles · 23/03/2013 13:30

Sorry pp

I love korma vq is it bad that comparing it to poo doesn't even put me off?

Just found out the library up the road from me hasn't closed down, I thought it had been closed for years, and they do rhyme time! I'm so excited to start taking S!

ChasingDaisy · 23/03/2013 13:30

pass they go forward next week. I have also been thinking about it though and have decided that as we have a fairly solid bedtime routine I am just going to continue as normal and hope he doesn't notice the missing hour. I am hoping that when he has his bath he won't realise he has been awake for an hour less than usual and will go to bed as normal. Bugger knows if it will actually work or not.

Roopoo · 23/03/2013 13:33

MadamGazelleIsMyMum · 23/03/2013 13:42

Sorry pp

Hello roopoo

VQ have just eaten leftover korma Grin I think there is a level of parenthood you reach where no bodily function can put you off food or it's the fact that I just love food so much

Have just had surveyors around. Apparently we qualify for free cavity wall insulation. It's all booked in for May.

MadamGazelleIsMyMum · 23/03/2013 13:44

Oh, and DS has been happily chilling in his bouncer for ages in front of the tv, watching DD do many poos on the potty, and chewing am old crib sheet. He cries when he drops it, so guess he is past the stage where things cease to exist when he can't see them!

PetiteRaleuse · 23/03/2013 13:54

yoko millions. What do you want to know?

MsJupiterJones · 23/03/2013 13:59

Oh sorry PP.

Hello Roo.

DH has taken L for a walk. I am still in bed. Blush

ChunkyEasterChick · 23/03/2013 14:00

DD hasn't pooed for days. I dread what will happen when she does. She did 2 on the potty on Tues & definitely needs one...Hmm

Sorry pp that sucks.

I love DH, I really do. He was kind to get up at 7am with the dc. But he fell asleep when looking after them AND that's all he did. Look after them. He used all the wipes, but didn't get the fresh lot out or a pack of disposables. He got DD breakfast, but didn't clear up after her. He had DS asleep but left him in his sleeping bag. All things I've had to do since he's gone out!! Along with other stuff, like sterilise stuff, feed DS, pump boob, wash up. Grrr.

ChunkyEasterChick · 23/03/2013 14:04

Hi roo BTW :)

ValiumQueen · 23/03/2013 14:10

Are men incapable of sealing a pack of wipes? I do not trust him with the washable ones as he would throw them away. I have to check the room for nappies too. Found one behind the TV yesterday.

J self settled in his cot. Took 20 minutes. He was gurgling, then started crying so I went in to him and gave him a cuddle. More gurgling, bit of swearing, and boom, asleep Grin I did not even need to flash a tit at him!

Clarella · 23/03/2013 14:26

zooms in skids on floor....

just back from fab lll meeting on baby led weaning. met other mums whos los tongue tie was missed.

anyway, at the meeting there was a mum who is a research doc in microbiology. she's been working with our scbu on probiotics for the special care babies and as g is on antibiotics for a slight uti and will now be on a low does until kidney screens come back which is policy in the north east, that he gets a baby probiotic. she told me what they're using at the scbu. I don't want to be accused of advertising so if you're interested do pm me. she said he'd only get prebiotics from my breast milk. another mum who works with her had tried fir her windy baby and seen an improvement. ironically the lll leader then chatted to both of them about their issues which look like tongue tie, one which was picked up but may not have been done enough.

amoxycillin shits are shit.

hurriedly jogs out...

Clarella · 23/03/2013 14:27

I'm .si sorry. purple. big hugs.

ChunkyEasterChick · 23/03/2013 15:03

Grumpy baby continues :(

Dentinox settled him for 2mins. He is happily chewing a teething ring til he drops it. :(

ChunkyEasterChick · 23/03/2013 15:05

I'd be willing to give a probiotic a go Clarella. Think A might need it after the last lot of Amoxicillin & his jabs straight after!!

PurplePidjin · 23/03/2013 15:15

Hello roo and anyone else i might have missed Brew

Very briefly, 12 weeks ago my dp had a stroke. He's recovering well but, because i was made redundant shortly before we found out i was pg, our only income is his ssp. I don't get MA due to working 3.5 hours a week as a youth worker Angry really must get on and query that, my jsa was pulled at 29 weeks pg as i was unfit for work yet no substitute was forthcoming

The interview was as a playworker at the local SN nursery, 2 days per week. The extra money, while not much, would have relieved both the financial worries and the pressure on dp to go back to his shitty bastarding cuntsworthy job, which is widely believed to be the cause of his high blood pressure and resulting bleed on the brain. About 2 months ago i interviewed for a specialist teaching role, they haven't even had the courtesy to get back to me!

The short answer is i do anything necessary, mostly in an SN and/or social care type of way :)

Izzybuzzybuzzybees · 23/03/2013 15:38

pass and vq I'd love another Ikea meet up. Tho i end up feeling jealous of the napping, good sleeping at night babies!

J always goraa LONG time after first feed of the day. Today he fed at 7.30am and didn't feed again til 2.30pm!!! 7 hours between feeds!! This is ridiculous but when I offer more often during the day he fed more often at night so not sure what to do. Today we were out from 11.30-2 anyway and where we were wasn't practical to feed or else I may have offered beforehand. What should I do!? If he can go that long then surely he should be able to do it at night?!?!

ValiumQueen · 23/03/2013 15:44

izzy that is a long time between feeds. But he seems happy enough doesn't he? As I said, it must be condensed milk on them there norks. And remember, there is no reason to be jealous of Jacob and his night time sleep. I think your little bubba is making progress with his night sleep.

He is back in washables. When he was shitting 15 times a day it was not practical as I just could not keep on top of them. One korma a day I can cope with.

TooManyDicksOnTheDancefloor · 23/03/2013 16:12

I'm do sorry to hear you didn't get the job pp. Things sound so hard for you, is there anything the quiche collective can do to help?

I offer every three hours izzy, b never cries for food, she will feed if I offer though. She sleeps well at night too, maybe he needs tanking up in the day more?

Hello to all of the lurkers who have come out Smile

YellowWellies · 23/03/2013 16:13

Izzy I'd love another IKEA meet up - you wouldn't feel jealous of Jonas' napping skills - he either hissy fits himself to sleep (and boy is he dramatic!) or I have to BF whilst walking around - which should be fun in IKEA Grin Having declared that I'm going to be billy the bookcase no mates at the next meet up aren't I? Blush
