Is it wrong to be smiling at the idea of a defective detective?

On a more serious note, sounds like you are all being blindingly brilliant in battling for what you need for your babies. Fingers crossed it all pays off soon.

Evil - sounds like fun to me if someone can look after N for you

ValiumQueen · 21/03/2013 20:49

How about a reflective defective detective?

ChasingDaisy · 21/03/2013 20:50

Ahh the rescooping! The C&G leveller is shit. Until today I was only making 5oz bottles & I still lost count. I'm sure O has had many a bottle that has either been too concentrated or too...Erm, the opposite of concentrated....Blush

New brain here too please...

Evilwater · 21/03/2013 20:51

Bryozoan- I've wanted a driving hoilday for ages, but camping.... Really?
I'm hoping my parents can look after N. P can go driving, and I can have the house all to my self, then I can be me.

Bryzoan · 21/03/2013 20:51

Grin brilliant vq

Evilwater · 21/03/2013 20:54

Dasiy- diluted is the opposite of concentrated.

Bryzoan · 21/03/2013 20:54

No you're right Evil. Camping sounds crap. Can you not persuade him to ditch the camping part and stay in a posh spa hotel b&b?

Pikz · 21/03/2013 20:54

Right must go to bed as instead of sleeping am looking up words that rhyme with detective

I need putting down

TheDetective · 21/03/2013 20:55

Alright, alright Mrs Poet! Tut! Wink

Grin

chasing C&G leveler is beyond shit. Are you left handed?

StuntNun · 21/03/2013 20:57

J went to sleep in his cot again . Bedtime routine is awesome for programming them to fall asleep on cue! My latest effort is feeding him with his bunny in his hands to try and make a new sleep association. I'm hoping a few days of this and I'll be able to replace feeding him to sleep with giving him his bunny to cuddle instead. I'm really hoping for a better night tonight. I know I should go to bed now but I'm really not sleepy so going to have a bath first. Mum is on standby to settle J when if I lose the plot again tonight.

Hope everyone else has a good night. Where's Luis today? Hope you have fewer than 57 transfers tonight.

No I can't, it's all part of the trip. Camping out side, with songs. Yeah..... No.
Evil

StuntNun · 21/03/2013 20:58

What about glamping Evil? In a teepee, with a hot tub?

OP posts:
TheDetective · 21/03/2013 20:58

I think luis is still sleeping off last night!

Evilwater · 21/03/2013 21:00

Glamping???? What's that?

Pikz · 21/03/2013 21:01

Glamping is sleeping in a shed with electrics and a shower nearby. Google podpads!

Bryzoan · 21/03/2013 21:02

Evil - ouch.

StuntNun · 21/03/2013 21:10

Evil - glamping in a teepee with a hot tub

Evilwater · 21/03/2013 21:11

Glamping sounds great. I think I'm going to decline going. I'd love to go, but camping..... Nah.

Evil

Bryzoan · 21/03/2013 21:12

Oh ok I could manage that stunt!

Elizadoesdolittle · 21/03/2013 21:14

pr no mini eggs in France. WTF!

Says something for my state of mind that I've caught up on the thread and that's all I can remember Blush

Just watching that programme on home births. There seems to be a lot of programmes about labour at the moment, or perhaps I just notice them more. Don't think I'd like my DH in the birthing pool with me.

Izzybuzzybuzzybees · 21/03/2013 21:14

J is feeding just now and I may go to beq when he stops.

Is it really ok to go to sleep with a strange man in the house?? It just seems a million kinds of wrong!?

Evilwater · 21/03/2013 21:15

Nite all. Thanks for all the help, I know I should be more assertive.
Evil

TheDetective · 21/03/2013 21:16

I just shouted at DP WHY THE FUCK DID I NOT GET A GAZEBO AND FAIRY LIGHTS? Waaaaaaaah! Fucker. I want fairy lights!

This will of course only make sense to Eliza!

YellowWellies · 21/03/2013 21:16

A corrective reflective defective detective? Grin

BigPigLittlePig · 21/03/2013 21:17

eliza I quite fancied the idea of a water birth, and read up a bit about it never happened though - the one bit I was certain on was that dh was not coming in with me. I read a thread on here somewhere about funny labour stories and the one that sticks in my mind is of a woman who had planned her water birth to the detail. The pool was full, scented candles were lit, dh was waiting in the pool with speedos on, and arms spread to help her in. She screamed at him "get the fuck out of my fucking pool" - still makes me grin.

Am off for a bath and bed. Hope jabs don't cause chaos tonight.
Good luck all xx
