Or a small boat.

Contradictionincarnate · 19/03/2013 23:00

Eliza glad your getting such good support and that you enjoyed your break you really did deserve it.
oh and pr sorry your still administering calpol.
had a long chat with dh and cleared the air also discussed plan of action re sleeps and naps... hope... hope is all you need.

Contradictionincarnate · 19/03/2013 23:01

oh and sorry Dixie that really made me laugh ...its like something I would do!

Thanks for the summary pass

Am Angry tonight as dh returned from football to announce he had "smacked the ref". Great. Told him in no uncertain terms that he had been a twat, and that that may have been how he dealt with things when he was a teenager, but he is now an adult with a family to think about. He's in grovelling mood now. Still Angry though.

F had a proper feedathon this evening, so couldn't test the dream feed theory. She's straying into green poo territory, so not sure if it's the tail end of her cold/mucus working it's way through or something else...can't see it's a milk supply issue like some have had, so am going to keep an eye.

Off to bed, knackered tonight.
Welcome back eliza, glad you enjoyed your break - not at all Envy here, oh no even though you massively deserved it
Sorry for rambly post, brain is scrambled.

LuisGarcia · 19/03/2013 23:34

He "smacked the ref"?

ffs.

I would like to apologise for my half of the species once again.

Anyone got any idea why L is waking up shouting every hour or so for the last few days? She's not hungry, overtired, vommy, ill, no nappy issue, no grumping during the day, calpol does nothing. She's not even really distressed. She's just loud and awake.

TheDetective · 20/03/2013 00:02

Evening. Arghhhh. Can I just say evening, and send hugs all round? I have about - that much energy! I should be in bed. Instead I am catching up on here!

Appetite suppressants working well here! Fingers crossed for fat loss soon. Food is not on my mind 24/7 apart from now, as I am talking about food!.

Nice night at cinema - O well behaved. He has fed 6 times (36oz!) today. I am hopeful for a longer night tonight? One can hope, can't they?!

I have lots to say, but my fingers do not have the energy to type! Sorry!!!!!

Oh - chunky yes, I thought about that too!

TheDetective · 20/03/2013 00:03

pass you are a genuis Grin.

TheDetective · 20/03/2013 00:04

I am starting to feel like the quiche Rottweiler!

LuisGarcia · 20/03/2013 00:15

What would someone have to do to be slapped with a wet Rottweiler?

TheDetective · 20/03/2013 00:19

Very little right now Grin PMfuckingT!

TheDetective · 20/03/2013 00:26

Fuck. I am such an idiot. I wrote my birth story - fairly edited version - as I was invited to a group called 'midwives having babies'. It is a midwife wanting stories from other midwives as she is writing a book.

Figured I had quite an unusual story. Wrote it, posted it. Got no replies, when others have lots of replies.

Lots of my colleagues have seen it.

Fuck. Shouldn't have written it. Clearly they think I am a dick. Hmm

I thought it was quite well written too. There are no swear words. Well, maybe crap. But that is not a swear word!

ValiumQueen · 20/03/2013 00:46

Pissflaps. 3 fucking hours. Either his cold is getting worse or the intolerence is building as there is a wheeze in the mix now. Seems much more likely to be intolerence though as no temp and he seems fine in himself apart from abdo discomfort, snottyness, cough, wheeze and a patch of skin that is looking very much like eczema. Poos fine though. Oh, and fucking poor sleep. Is that not textbook milk or lactose fucking intolerence?

Hopefully not back until morning. No cunting chance of that!

LuisGarcia · 20/03/2013 01:11
Biscuit
TheDetective · 20/03/2013 01:26

Exactly what we had VQ :( xxx

Lily311 · 20/03/2013 01:40

Oh dear...

Bad night here. For me. O is sleeping but I am wide awake.

Any solicitors amongst us? If yes, can you pls check the legal matters section? I need advise on how to reregister the birth and put my Oh on birth certificate. Thanks.

TheDetective · 20/03/2013 01:43

O is also sleeping here. I am also wide awake. Hmm

No energy. But awake. Crappy combo!

Not a solicitor sorry x

PurplePidjin · 20/03/2013 02:20

Ooh i made the roundup

Thanks for all the positive vibes. I should know by the end of Thursday if there's cause for celebration. Thanks

Brew for all those stuck awake. My mum reckons i was trained at 18 months due to sticking me over a potty at nappy change times Hmm

Sorry, brag moment - 6 fucking hours get in there :o:o:o

Bryzoan · 20/03/2013 02:27

Awake and half dead here too but feeding at least. Don't feel bad about your birth story det. You were fabulous.

ChasingDaisy · 20/03/2013 02:41

2 x 3 hours here. He used to sleep longer, why is his sleep so crap now? 16 weeks today so just hitting regression territory too. Could really fucking do without this now.

He is now taking 7 feeds in 24 hours rather than 8 and has never taken more than 5oz - usually 4, so wonder if that is the reason. When he wakes at 5/6 am, usually only an hour or two after going back down, I bring him in with me rather than giving a feed. He always falls asleep straight away so doesn't seem hungry, but maybe I should be feeding him to get more calories in. But I don't want to be feeding at night unless I need to as that is the opposite of what I'm trying to achieve. Agghh! I have no clue.

Woke myself up, but not O thankfully, by screaming and shouting help Confused

kirrinIsland · 20/03/2013 03:14

Yay Pidj :)

Boo Luis and chasing :( No, advise I'm afraid, except that this too shall pass.

bigpig he smacked the ref?! I'd be raging. Good response - you've given him something to think about.

VQ poor J. Maybe trying the lactose free milk is a good plan then. When are you seeing the HV.

N did 4 hours which is ok, but not so good as previous nights. I hope she doesn't start getting worse again, I was hoping for better and better now!

ValiumQueen · 20/03/2013 03:15

Another three hours. Hope he settles easier this time. 21 weeks old.

Lily311 · 20/03/2013 03:15

Daisy, i find that O doesn't like to take the last 1 oz in bottle. I started to offer her 7oz instead of 5 2 weeks ago and she drunk 6. She also has 5 or max 6 feeds in 24 hours.

I am still awake. O is still asleep. Grrr.

ValiumQueen · 20/03/2013 03:28

311 not a solicitor, but I think things like this depend on if parents were married at the time of the birth. I know DH could register ours without me there, but had we not been married, he could not have.

With Daddy no longer here, I am guessing it will be tricky either way. Good luck x I do hope you find a way x

ValiumQueen · 20/03/2013 03:38

kirrin baby clinic is Thursday.
