then you have the wrong ears this week, I guess

YellowWellies · 16/03/2013 01:53

Nay bother Det a pal up here is looking so rest assured it'll go to a good home x

ValiumQueen · 16/03/2013 02:14

yw not often we see you at this hour? Just feeding, hopefully.

Another hour spent settling. Bless him. He smelt like a nappy bucket he was so windy. I will be reading up about CMPI today.

DH wants to do walking/running first thing from herein. I have said no, I need him as I am usually feeding J when the girls wake. He is upset and angry. He just does not get it.

Pikz · 16/03/2013 02:27

VQ just slap him with the disintegrating fish.

He did 7.30 til 2. See you at 6!

LuisGarcia · 16/03/2013 02:40

hi, midnight shift

TheDetective · 16/03/2013 02:44

OMFG VQ!!! is he for real?!?!

DP has made similar ridiculous comments. Sometimes I think rhe words come out of his mouth 15 minutes before his brain engages.

Tell him he can wear the baby as a weight while doing so. and the girls on each arm see how far he bloody gets then!

Don't see why he can't exercise say, between 3am and 4am. That sounds like the best time of day to me!

Wonder if he would be so keen then?! Grin

YW glad you have a good home lined up! I'm so excited to see what O thinks. My living room is not however. It is already groaning under the weight of toys!!!

TheDetective · 16/03/2013 02:45

Welcome home Glenda!! We've missed you!

TheDetective · 16/03/2013 02:47

what bloody time do you call this?!

Fuck. Just been vommed on. Hmm

LuisGarcia · 16/03/2013 02:52

I call this ffsoclock. you?

applepieinthesky · 16/03/2013 03:10

So DS has done 8pm until 2.50am and is now asleep again. Problem is the last few nights he has been waking every hour from now until morning. ffs whyyyyyy?? I didn't go to bed until midnight and DP is having a night off from feeds so its just me tonight.

Bryzoan · 16/03/2013 03:57

4.5 hrs - i'll take that for now little man. Thank you.

Apple - hourly is no fun. Hope tonight breaks the pattern for you

Lily and kissy - glad you are having the hip scans done. Hopefully and most likely they will show all is well - but even if not try not to worry too much. The harness is fine once you get used to it - and very effective for young babies.

Sweetpea - I'm not on the fb group but hope you get some sleep. Little steps.

Sleeping arrangements. I am in spare room with g and doors open to dd. When g was born we agreed I would look after g at nights and dh would look after dd. But he doesn't wake even though his room is next to hers and her cot is just through the wall from his head! so I would have to shout through the wall and risk waking g up to make that work. So I do both of them now. Luckily she is mostly a good sleeper. Dh is also not all bad - He has said if I have a crap night tonight (I've had a week of them) he will take dd to her swimming lesson in the morning and leave me resting with g.

Det - lovely to hear to is coming on despite the tough time you are having. Keep going.

Vq - things sound quite tough your way too. Hope dh comes to his senses and you find a way to help J feel better soon.

ValiumQueen · 16/03/2013 04:18

Two hours. Not so good.

He wants to go 5 to 6 which means he will wake me going and coming back and then needs a shower so will keep me awake for that. I will say he can go out once kids are in bed at night I think. At 5 he would wake both girls too. He did this when I was pg with a broken leg but the girls would just get in bed with me which was ok as I was not up all night with a baby.

ValiumQueen · 16/03/2013 04:20

I could suggest he sleeps on the sofa so he does not disturb us?

I could suggest he moves back with his mum?

PurplePidjin · 16/03/2013 04:36

You could ask him when your several hours a week to do as you please will be occurring? Wink

sweetpea1112 · 16/03/2013 04:40

Second feed. That's two sleeps of just under four hours. unheard of at the moment.

kirrinIsland · 16/03/2013 04:43

3 hours, then 2. Not so bad.

apple that's what N has been doing - hourly is no fun :( I seem to have escaped it the last 2 nights but I expect it will be back!

VQ after the kids are in bed is perfectly reasonable, first thing in the morning is not.

bryzoan 4.5 is pretty good :)

kirrinIsland · 16/03/2013 04:46

Well done minisweetpea :)

pp that's a great idea!

Bryzoan · 16/03/2013 04:53

Oh little man. Awake again after an hour? If you are going to copy other quiche babies can you please copy pr's?

Vq - no way. After the kids are in bed sounds ok. But tell him if he has enough energy to want to run at stupid o'clock he is in a better place than you and could perhaps expend some of it on a night feed or 2.

Sweet - glad to hear little pea is looking after you.

Lily311 · 16/03/2013 06:03

I am awake. O is not. She woke at 4.20, went back to sleep adter 2 min on boobie. Why can't I sleep?

Dr seemed concerned and will find out the date of scan on Mon. She said it should be pretty quick.

Well done minisweetpea, hope he is still asleep. Hope you are still asleep sweetpea.

Contradictionincarnate · 16/03/2013 06:05

vq guessing her works? can't he run on lunch break? ...that's when dh goes to the gym. he started doing it when I was preg instead of going in the eve as thought that it would be better then when baby comes along....(he doesn't think this sensibly all the time).

Contradictionincarnate · 16/03/2013 06:18

ooo can feel the match day fever building!!! exciting!!
in the words of the stereophonics "I don't want to be your enemy, but when we're on the pitch its red white and green" ... (I best not post the next bit ) very significant and exciting Wales England clash for the neutral fan too though! Smile

ValiumQueen · 16/03/2013 06:23

pp I already have. Never was the answer as he could not manage all three.

He works in the community as a carer so has no official break, no base to change etc. He has joined a gym and goes if he has a gap between clients. He also goes if he has a morning or afternoon free in the week which is taking the piss already as he could be helping me. I have said no to weekend and evening gym. If he were fit it would help but he is not. He wants to lose weight. Fucking men (luis excluded). His alarm went off at 5. I glared.

J did another hour so up for day as he did go to bed at 6 last night.

ValiumQueen · 16/03/2013 06:25

sweetpea good LO is having a better night.

Dixiebell · 16/03/2013 06:28

Last night decided to skip dream feed so I could go to bed early. So was in bed 9.30. What happens? He wakes at 10.30 anyway of course! Except he was crying, distraught, not interested in feeding for about 15 mins.. Don't know what it was, maybe tummy ache? Anyway he eventually calmed down and fed and then managed till 2 and then 6. Not bad overall.

Is it ridiculous to think my 15 week old baby can say "hello"? Hmm Well actually ehh-yo. He repeats it when you say hello to him! Obviously I have a boy genius Wink Grin

Hugs to sweetpea this morning, thinking of you.

Bryzoan · 16/03/2013 06:55

Dixie - I think the same about g! Which I find strange as dd doesn't do that and never has (though she does say 'duck' now).

Lily - it is good that the Gp is fixing the scan for asap as if there is a problem the earlier it is treated the better. But you would still have time on your side for treatment with a pavlik harness which is great.

Vq - I would have been tempted to put his alarm somewhere I couldn't hear it.
