Instead of marking place, please could those of us with older siblings post something (positive) they are looking forward to as our babies get older. I think it would cheer us up since so many are struggling at the moment.

Same for us Pennie. Hope they don't mess with the sleep!

rootypig · 11/03/2013 21:48

yay Eliza such great news. Really hope you are home soon, and the diagnosis makes a difference to you and little E.

Lily seriously well done for standing your ground! doctors make it so hard sometimes wonder what they think their job actually is, fobbing people off

YW I quit fags to TTC a year ago January but have had two or three nights having a couple with my baby free friends and it was bliss! probably shouldn't admit to that

I am not googling these dimples! I am not!

rootypig · 11/03/2013 21:49

oooh Pennie where in London are you? I am east (Victoria Park). and yes it's fucking Baltic, nearly lost an ear cycling back from the pool just now

Lily311 · 11/03/2013 21:54

I am in SE London (elephant&castle). And it is freezing !

ValiumQueen · 11/03/2013 21:58

sophia I plan to pad them with microfibre and have a nice soft brushed cotton top layer. I will put a waterproof layer in too. I was initially very blurgh at the idea, but have changed my opinion after reading a thread on here.

Off to land of nod hopefully. J asleep dreaming of wee P, and sparkly clean too. It will not last.

Hopefully we will all sleep tonight.

izzy thinking of you x

DH tells me he had an open sacral dimple. DS still has a slightly wonky butt crack. Will mention to HV. Tsk ropey husband and his poor quality DNA....

J hasn't taken a proper night feed so haven't tried putting him down yet. Still need to set up the monitor. I hate nights :-(

Looking forward to meeting some of you tomorrow though!

TheDetective · 11/03/2013 22:22

Talking about ropey DNA....! Anyone else noticed their little boys ummmmm, dingly danglies are like their dads?! O's has the exact same wibbly vein thing down the underside of it. In the exact same wibbly line as his dad.

TMI.

DP can never see this. Grin

rootypig · 11/03/2013 22:23

don't think I can remember what DH's dingly danglies look like

LuisGarcia · 11/03/2013 22:24

she lasted 45 minutes. At least I ate.

Elizadoesdolittle · 11/03/2013 22:26

Well I've caught up with thread but for the life of me I can't remember what I was going to say!

lily well done on standing your ground. I used to live very nr elephant and castle so you're round my old stomping ground. Lived in saff east London pretty much till my mid twenties.

yw what a horrible thing to happen so close to home.

Well E's just had her ng feed. I did it myself and went fine. She's drifting off now and the lovely nurse is going to do the 1am one so hopefully I'll sleep through that. Hope you all have good nights.

TheDetective · 11/03/2013 22:26

That is my view on things these days. At least I got to eat. Or pee.

That seems to be a good day when those things occur!

Sympathies!

Rooty I get to see them for medicinal purposes Grin. I love having my epis scratched from the inside. It gets so damn itchy sometimes. The stretching feels great. DP can only manage about once a week though lmao Grin.

BigPigLittlePig · 11/03/2013 22:29

dingly danglies mwah haha Grin what are they?

rootypig · 11/03/2013 22:34

Det mister rooty dreams of such a thing. DREAMS! think his bits are covered in dust

TheDetective · 11/03/2013 22:35

Blow the moths off Grin

YellowWellies · 11/03/2013 22:39

Oh MrG think my baby got the same memo - up having a mumpy fit now with DH. We had been swaddling him with his arms out ready to try again with grobags but when ill he appears to revert to twatting himself around the chops.

MrG and lurking DHs look away now - yes DS's giblets do resemble his Dads! Poor SIL - if that's universal - her DS has the tiniest boy bits!!!

TheDetective · 11/03/2013 22:43

YW you just broke my pelvic floor!!!!!!

YellowWellies · 11/03/2013 22:45

I should stress I know this from changing his nappies - not from being a big dirty perv!!!!

BigPigLittlePig · 11/03/2013 22:46

I'm off to bed alone but hope that, tomorrow morning, when I catch up on the nights chat, there will be many giggles at man-bits expense (sorry luis)

Fingers crossed/fistfuls of sleepy dust/hefty doses of whisky in ff - delete as applicable.

Night all x

BigPigLittlePig · 11/03/2013 22:47

TheDetective · 11/03/2013 22:50

I don't think it is possible to behave. When have I ever?!
