P was moaning to be put in her basket so she was. Now she is in there practising sitting. Every time she strains forward she loses her dummy. Then she meeps meaning that I get up to put it back in. This behaviour (mine) is rewarded by a smile.

So. Beds are for sleeping and doing crunchies in.

ValiumQueen · 07/03/2013 14:21

DH is home for a few hours today. I was hoping to have a break. He had things to do. Just been upstairs. He is in bed. Poor poppet is asleep Confused

Passmethecrisps · 07/03/2013 14:22

Sorry for cross posting YW and horsey

All the meeping is distracting.

Sorry you feel shit again horsey. I will be so glad when march is passed and we can officially talk about spring. And the last few years had had awesome weather in April.

Good luck to wee niece YW. Also good luck with jags. We got 3 this time.

Oh. And p was weighed today. 5.5kg at 16 weeks. I asked HV what she thought of this. Her reply "well, she looks great. Nice chunky legs"

That is it! I am worrying no longer. Centiles be damned!

Passmethecrisps · 07/03/2013 14:24

Honestly VQ, I would kick DH's arse for that. I cannot imagine how much you would like to curl up on the bed and have a snooze

Pikz · 07/03/2013 14:30

Yay didn't get beaten by HV for him being 7.5kg at 14 weeks. She just said he'd going to be a big lad.

horseylady · 07/03/2013 14:32

Thanks pass I keep going in waves. I was shaking in the kitchen?! I think I need chocolate!!! I'm not actually sure what's wrong.

I've decided I need to sell my 4x4 and trailer buy a small car and small lorry.

Ive seen a lovely one for sale dh said no :( meanie.

BigPigLittlePig · 07/03/2013 14:33

Good luck for jabs and poorly nieces.

Seeing daisychains pic on fb makes me realise how small our little prem babies were - and how glad I am that F was well and, until this cold, had remained that way.

Roll on spring! Daffs & crocuses are out in force here so it can't be far away.

Passmethecrisps · 07/03/2013 14:39

pikz I think if any HV did anything other than high-5 you for all that you have been through feeding your LO they would have a mumsnet quiche to deal with.

kissyfur · 07/03/2013 14:43

Not going to read the blog either, as another poster said things like that stay with me too much. Poor little girl, so so sad.

LO has had her 2nd lot of jabs today, am thankful she didn't seem too bothered by them, and only cried briefly.

Also thankful that we haven't had another reflux episode like we did yesterday.

I managed to get her to take a dummy for a bit this morning. Went to get some Nuk ones, think someone said they are good for BF babies? but boots only had the 6-12 months ones. So will have to look elsewhere

PetiteRaleuse · 07/03/2013 14:45

Crocuses out here too. And the bees are awake. Slightly drunk looking but awake

glendathefedupwitch · 07/03/2013 14:50

Twice I've started a reply for it to wonder into the ether when I've had a call!!! Grrrrrrrrr

sweetpea hugs x

vq the uni anglia wank stain ruskin attached to my trust didn't think I showed enough passion for midwifery after a 6 minute interview Angry however, Greenwich, south bank & kings thought I was amaze balls and offered me a place so I accepted Greenwich - means I'm at a different trust!!!

Will post again later got school run xx

TheDetective · 07/03/2013 14:59

Am sat in clinic waiting for my broken bits to be prodded and poked. They wanted to weigh me. Thought why not. I've been good for a couple of weeks. Let's see what I've lost.

FUCK ME I'VE PUT 6kg ON!!!!!!!! arghhhhhhhh. That's over a stone. That's the weight of O. What the actual fuck?

Help :( my clothes don't feel tighter. Confused

Will find new scales and check. But what if it's right? Fucking hell. I did this with DS1. Gutted. Absolutely fucking gutted. I cut White bread and coca cola out. Been swapping snacks for healthy alternatives. If this is right, then I'm going back to my old shitty habits. Fuck this shit!!

O still good. YW will keep that in mind. He's gone back to vomiting a lot more. Do you think it's worth adding in the gaviscon as well? Not sure. Hmmm.

horseylady · 07/03/2013 15:10

detective sorry you've put on weight. But you did just test the strength of my pelvic floor by how you wrote it.

Refuse future weigh ins. Drink coke.

pikz what pass said.

eliza good luck at the new hospital!!

BigPigLittlePig · 07/03/2013 15:11

detective muscle is heavier than fat - fact.

Pikz · 07/03/2013 15:18

Love the quiche.

Horsey my pelvic floor had the same reaction to how detective wrote that!!

Detective drink coke. the real stuff.

Horsey I am trying to picture you driving a small lorry.

Just had haircut. DP had boyo, how come we he has him he just sleeps!

VQ I think the quiche needs to have words with your DH.

daisychain76 · 07/03/2013 15:40

Should never have mentioned H going 5 hours one night. Back to every 2 or 3 last night. Yawn...

Here, here Bigpig. I am so thankful H is well and happy.

Glad you got out for a bit Eliza and hope you feel better soon horsey and sweetpea.

Having child care issues at the moment. May have a rant later.

H has decided naps are for wimps and is surviving on ten minute cat naps. Think soneone else was having the same. Fingers crossed it?s just a phase.

TheDetective · 07/03/2013 15:42

Sorry! My pelvic floor is taking similar batterings!

I've got some fanny stretchers! Whoopdewhoop!! Can't WAIT to try those out!

Been seen by cons. Got an unhealed area inside. Been told to give it time. My fanjo has healed wrongly at the entrance. Been told recutting and stitching will be worse.

Give it time.

Give it time.

Give it more fucking time.

And stretch your fanny.

MissMummy1 · 07/03/2013 15:51

Oh heck sophia you made me cry. Thank you so much for your kind words Thanks.

I've told myself to get a grip this afternoon. I think the lack of sleep is making things seem so much worse than they are. DP is trying very trying sometimes... his hardest and I need to stop picking fights over silly insignificant things. I think a sit down and a long talk is needed - god knows when - now he knows I am seriously close to having enough. Between M's skin and allergies, total lack of sleep (wee mare did 40 mins last night between the 2 of us..), the car fiasco and my mum being ill, I think I have just let everything get on top of me. Thank you all for listening to my moans, helps to write it down.

YW so sorry to here about W being poorly again. Thoughts are with your DSis and if any of you need anything or you need to cancel tomorrow, give me a shout x

ValiumQueen · 07/03/2013 15:53

That is fucking disgusting Pennie people are absolute cunts. I hate thieves. Bastards.

Sorry I have nothing more constructive to say.

Sorry they can't help you more than that Detective

ValiumQueen · 07/03/2013 16:16

pennie the cheek! How awful, but as you say, at least LO was not in it x

kissyfur · 07/03/2013 16:19

Oh pennie that's terrible! Thieving bastards Angry

BigPigLittlePig · 07/03/2013 16:22

That's shocking pennie
Where we moved from, I would have expected that sort of thing to happen, it's not a nice feeling to have to worry about.
