injections, broke my heart dd smiled at the lady as needle went in then expression changed completely to pain and confusion ... think she forgot it all too soon I did not!

PetiteRaleuse · 27/02/2013 12:59

Sunshine? Envy

Contradictionincarnate · 27/02/2013 12:59

oh ps supposed to leave in 20 mins for mum and baby group ...I don't wanna go but feel like I should no one I get on with there though different peeps every week and only one woman with similar aged baby!
I need to get ready for weekend away wanna chill with my baby

Contradictionincarnate · 27/02/2013 13:02

bplp I think that re bath with my d too but if I bath in the day dh misses out and lot more faff ...tried moving bath time earlier but that didn't work!

ChunkyChicken · 27/02/2013 13:12

detective that was 3rd & Bird, where Beaky plays baby so Muffin can be Mummy.

I have Baby Einstein DVDs. Bought them in the sale. Some are better than others. Have a limited lifespan. Only good for tiny babies. Once they can understand even a limited storyline, the DVDs are no longer necessary. Did mean I didn't have to watch pissflapping cBeebies ALL THE FUCKING TIME!!!

Contradictionincarnate · 27/02/2013 13:14

was the woman def talking about DVD my dd has a baby Einstein gym.

ChunkyChicken · 27/02/2013 13:14

DD keeps turning DS over Hmm

And, votes please: should I buy a double pump, just because I fancy one, 2nd hand, £50? :)

Titsalinabumsquash · 27/02/2013 13:17

Double pump gives you more time surely? Grin

J is being hilarious atm, he's turned himself sideways on his gym and has hooked both his feet over the overhead bar thing like a chimp and wrapped his mouth around a spinning ball toy and is sucking it like crazy Grin

Contradictionincarnate · 27/02/2013 13:19

my electric pump converts to double ... but only find it worked the other day after night out to feed dd with full breasts. the extra set is good to have two lots of equipment.

ValiumQueen · 27/02/2013 13:20

J has just had his first haircut. It was nearly in his eyes. He looks older.

PetiteRaleuse · 27/02/2013 13:24

Wow.. I reckon I could count LO's hairs she has so few :o

Contradictionincarnate · 27/02/2013 13:30

petite mine too! my dm bought a headband for her it looks so silly!

ChunkyChicken · 27/02/2013 13:41

It seems a bit frivolous to buy a double pump when my single medela works so well iyswim. But equally, it would allow me to 'drain' both puppies at the same time, so half the time taken. In 2 minds...

Cock stains.

ValiumQueen · 27/02/2013 13:41

All mine have been born with mops of hair. He has a bald patch on the back through rubbing.

ValiumQueen · 27/02/2013 13:43

chunky I wouldn't unless you are sure you will have more kids so use it again. If your LO was younger, then perhaps, but £50 is a lot of money.

Jims · 27/02/2013 13:47

Hurrah for sweary wednesday as for fuck's sake:
Big one did (some of?) his 3 day stored poo in his pants, fortunately at home not at softplay; and
Little one's hospital appointment has been put back to 28th march. So he's on antibiotics til then at least. Still can't shift the sodding thrush as a result so itch a lot and it's my birthday next week and i'm having go avoid cake. They blatantly lost his paperwork in the system when he was discharged in the NY as they hadn't heard of him when i rang querying what was going on and have just sent through a kidney scan on the 28th 2 days ago so presumably moved the outpatients to match.
Our new family dr is apparently v straightforward and a bloke. Trying him tomorrow for the thrush saga. Hope he has a tiny bit of sympathy in him. I switched drs as our last surgery fell out with each other and all the drs left!
Tomorrow i will be thankful LO is still sleeping well at night. many sympathies to those who are up a lot. I'm just waiting to join you really as he's 16 weeks tomorrow...

ChunkyChicken · 27/02/2013 13:49

Ah sod it. I know its a good one. I'll buy it. If I don't get on with it, I'll sell it on.

BigPigLittlePig · 27/02/2013 13:54

Electrician is finally coming over to fix the broken socket.
Dilemma though - am wearing PJ bottoms slob and F is asleep on me. Do I get changed and wake her, or accept status as slob in eyes of both electrician and landlord?

ChunkyChicken · 27/02/2013 13:57

You make a good point VQ. I am still uncertain. I doubt I'll be feeding him much when at work so it'd only be for now (& I have loads of ebm in the freezer)...

Oh wank badger copyright to YW??!

ChunkyChicken · 27/02/2013 14:00

Slob status is expected from new mums BPLP :)

Bollocks.

capedcrusader25 · 27/02/2013 14:01

Accept status as slob! I do :)
The rash is purpura. I don't know if its from the fact she screamed so hard she went rigid and shook as a result and went purple during the jabs :( So I hope it fades soon as doesn't develop into anything else. My you get brother had HSP last year and was do poorly. I'd hate for this to turn into that :(

ChunkyChicken · 27/02/2013 14:17

I declined the pump. I can usually get enough out with my current pump. £50 would be better off spent on a decent well fitting nursing bra.

What's purpura caped?

ChunkyChicken · 27/02/2013 14:18

Ah forgot...

Knob jockey.

YellowWellies · 27/02/2013 14:29

Caped my husband got HSP (heinoch schonlein purpura? not sure if that's spelled right) after contracting malaria whilst working in Uganda. It's bloody miserable - thankfully he's not had an episode in over 2 years. Am sure LO's rash won't turn into it x

YellowWellies · 27/02/2013 14:34

Bplp I've been on the couch since 10am - slob here too. Watched two episodes of Grey's Anatomy - took me back to the early night feeds. Wonder if Jonas remembered the music too; he's just napped like a newborn.

Ahh growth spurts. Feels like I'm being dessicated Envy
