eliza hugs - hope You get answers very soon and LO's weight gain improves sharpish - we're here to support you xx stay away from dr google!!!

chunky I too can't read/watch the news for all the sadness - I get bogged down thinking of the LO without a mummy Sad

gt hope you remember everything (nappy cream, toiletries, toys..) you need for LO so when there you can relax and enjoy your holiday

vq glad you managed to dtd, I'd rather have pudding lol

Welcome rooty and nice to see you again sweetpea

Had a good night after a couple of failed transfers but had to be up and feeding D by 6am as I had a kit day. Managed to make it through the early shift without sickness lol, had a laugh actually as it was a nice bunch on the ward, was weird hearing those newborn cries!!

Collected d from the childminder and as she was putting her in the car seat D was smiling and cooing at her, really reassured me that she's happy there!!

Trout for tea - never had it before - dh cooking!!

MissMummy1 · 27/02/2013 20:14

Add hire car companies to my list of wankbadgers Angry I knew this sounded too easy to be true...

PetiteRaleuse · 27/02/2013 20:24

Eliza that is a worry for you but at least they will find answers Thanks

ValiumQueen · 27/02/2013 20:25

I love trout!

ValiumQueen · 27/02/2013 20:26

eliza good they are doing something.

TheDetective · 27/02/2013 20:26

What are they doing MM? Whatever you do, don't let them palm you off with helphire (Albany Assist). Googled them and got a lot of negative feedback. I've got a hire car from the garage doing the repair now. Not that we can go anywhere in it. It is just sat on the drive Hmm. Fucking shitty shitroen c1 indeed! New pram though, now that could be good! Get one and sell one and make some £ back for the inevitable increase in frickin' premiums.

VQ That lady has been all over my news feed on facebook. She is very local to where I work. She had her baby there, obviously at the same time we were all having ours. It all feels so close to home, I've been quite subdued since I heard a body had been found. PND can go fuck itself. Cunty depression, shit off. Poor family, poor woman... poor children :(

DS1 currently at Scouts. His first session ever. Hope he enjoys it! He was very excited!

O has released the velcro. Finally seems happy again, but I put him back to the size 3 teats, and it is since then he has been contented. He also had a pretty solid poo, and it took some hefty work. I'll start him on some cooled boiled water tomorrow. DP just made a bottle of it up, but I don't want to give it overnight, so will give him some between feeds tomorrow.

Evilwater · 27/02/2013 20:27

Sorry I can't remember all the replies I wanted to do. But here goes:
Yes hire cars are a bastard,
No FF does not make a baby sleep longer I got 4 hours last night.
N has been in his own room for 2 months,
Congrats on the election, I hope it didn't cost alot.
The paper should be 'daily hate', I never read the thing. It's always the mothers who get it, as we are soft targets!

Today we have been to a social class, played on his mat, then walked to the shops, had messy play, bath, then music time and lastly bed! What a tiring day.

How could I not think that after messy play, came bath time!!! For fuck sake!

To all the mums that have had a crazy day Thanks and Brew and to all those that have crap nights Thanks

Evilwater · 27/02/2013 20:29

P.s
N manged to get some homemade playdough in his mouth (cornflower with water and some food colouring). What a picture! Grin

Contradictionincarnate · 27/02/2013 20:31

yw aw that's awful about your mum... I do agree driving is the easy option e if I had a car I wouldn't be going for woodland walks with dd I would probably be driving everywhere and buying lots of crap we don't need!
I also think it is actually easier to get the train into Cardiff for days out etc but its the relying on someone else to get you there what if trains stopped suddenly running or something!!
eeeee so excited now about my little holiday! Grin and my anniversary and st Davids day!!

TheDetective · 27/02/2013 20:37

Eliza I hope you get that phone call quickly. Fingers crossed a reason can be found, and she pops on that weight quickly!

Evilwater · 27/02/2013 20:37

I can only get the house work done when N let's me. But as long as you can't write in the dust and the floors are ok. Then your doing miles better than me.

YW- where I live, you need a car! The busses here are terrible. It takes 40mins on the bus to get into the town. By car 20mins and its only 5 mil away!!

Evening fuckers

Been to a family funeral today am fucking tired and in need of bed.

Have attempting to read entire of days thread.

Apologies to all those suffering at the hands of twats.

Detective, sorry to hear about TT ours was never picked up til I went to breastfeeding specialist, no midwives, docs or HV saw it.

Horsey, I feel the same about breastfeeding but I know I gave it my all this time, we shall see next time.

Eliza, thinking of you and lots of love.

VQ LO sleeps no better on formula.

Am so fucking tired I can remember anymore, and I couldn't settle LO to sleep as I was being shit at it. DP had to step in :(

ChunkyChicken · 27/02/2013 20:57

YW & contra don't get me wrong, not saying you should have a car or drive. Just think its an extra string to your bow. DH & I only have 1 car, never have had 2. I didn't take my car to uni & I luffed that maestro!! (Manchester), didn't drive to work when I lived in London (but had to when I worked in Leatherhead and lived north west Kent) & took my car off the road after the tax ran out until I moved home to train to be a teacher. I've tried not driving to some of the activities since we've moved (used to happily walk the few miles to toddler group with DD in the buggy at our old house) but the buses are SO expensive, its prohibitive, given I'm paying to tax, MOT & insure a car to sit on the driveway. I can't get to work by public transport unless I want to leave in August & get there by Christmas... especially with 30 exercise books, a laptop etc to carry. Most of the civil service jobs I've seen in the past like you to have a licence & it would certainly help in teaching, when training to drive the minibus. I'm not anti-public transport or walking, or pro-car, I just am surprised so many adults don't drive & rely on others to drive them around iyswim. It's one thing to be unable to afford a car & quite another to impose yourself on someone else's... Sorry if I offended you. Sorry too YW about your Mum. That must have been devastating.

BigPigLittlePig · 27/02/2013 20:58

Ooh obsessive compulsive cleaners o'clock. Makes me feel less bad about my shitpit Grin

MissMummy1 · 27/02/2013 21:00

It is enterprise. They were meant to drop one off tonight. Claim they didn't get the details from insurance company. Will be tomorrow morning at earliest. I need it for yoga! (admitably not high priority...)

sweetpea1112 · 27/02/2013 21:00

Eliza I know you don't 'know' me but I just wanted to add my thoughts to everyone else's and hope you get some answers soon Thanks

Another non driver here Blush YW that is very sad about your mum.

Detective that is awfully close to home for you. I also echo everyone else's sentiments about the tongue tie, surprising it wasn't picked up on sooner. A case of better late than never? Please tell me to fuck off if not the case!

ChunkyChicken · 27/02/2013 21:03

Isn't it meant to do the opposite BPLP & inspire cleanliness? And shouldn't that be a 'pig sty'??!! Grin

DS asleep hopefully DD in bed hopefully asleep soon I'm off to find a bra... :)

chunky it makes me want to clean their house, as am quite ruthless at decluttering other peoples dh's stuff but less good at my own...

Pikz · 27/02/2013 21:08

Chunky try panache. I found very good for small back large cup size.

I was a 30F before getting preggers and even after stopping expressing am a 34F due to breech pushing rib cage out.

Kyzordz · 27/02/2013 21:09

Evening all, and what a shitty evening t was. E got overtired, oil an hour to have 5oz. I wasnt trying to get him to take more, just he was hungry and tired so pulling off/crying/almost choking/generally making life difficult but then still wanted more. Then I bathed him a quick bath and tied to settle him but he wouldn't. Guess why? Fucking hungry! I explained nicely that had he drank normally and been good he might've been able to get to bed on time and wouldn't need another oz to settle. They are impossible to reason with, they really are! Got myself in a tizz and have a whacking headache now too. Due a dream feed at 10:30 but not sure I want to wake the little sod him up, he might start yelling at me again!!

Thinking of you eliza

When do you go gt?

Havet had time to take pic of e in car seat. Legs are killing cos cleaned stupid fucking house whilst e was out this morning. Really blitzed it, should do for now the next 3 months

Thankyou yw for anbesol advice. Am so rubbish I forgot I could be vaguely useful and couldve checked side of own box Blush

sweetpea1112 · 27/02/2013 21:09

Envy at all the big boobies. Pregnancy has done nothing to boost my B cups Sad

Passmethecrisps · 27/02/2013 21:21

My norks are the same size but feel empty. My massive melon mammaries squished all the fat out it would appear and squished it into my arse

P has taken nearly 2 ducking hours to settle for bed. Not badly crying but just dozing, waking, waaahing and repeat.

Wine has CMP YW? All wine or just some wine? I remember being at a vegan mini-festival thing and was astonished at the fact that beers are strained through bones! Beer is still delicious though says the woman who uses to suck marrow out of chicken bones

horseylady · 27/02/2013 21:27

I must have small boobs compared to you lot!!! 34 c!!!! That's if I'm having A big boob day!!! They went a d pregnant!!!

Elizadoesdolittle · 27/02/2013 21:27

I'm overwhelmed by all your kind words. Thank you. I've felt all sorts of emotions today, the major one is failure as if I could feed her properly then she wouldn't have this issue. I'm convinced the reason she isn't gaining weight is purely because she isn't getting enough calories in her and that's because I'm not producing enough milk. If she took a cunt wanking bottle that would help Grin although I guess that's better than there being a medical reason. the consultant said we will get a lot of help and support and the dietician will get involved too. And she'll be getting some well needed calories on board.

On the car debate, I have had a car since I was 18. Where I live has fab transport links and before children came I thought about selling my car but couldn't bring myself to do it. Now I really think I'd struggle to be without a car. I could do it but I wouldn't be able to do a lot of the things that I do with the kids. DH currently doesn't drive but if and when he learns we'd probably need to get another car.

mm sorry about your car. Stupid fucking neighbour.

yw no words...just ThanksThanksThanks

I'm watching a child of our time and seeing that poor little baby in an incubator really put my situation into perspective. I now it's sweary Wednesday but I will have a lot to be thankful for tomorrow.
