caped O also takes an hour+ to finish a bottle during the day. At night he manages a lot quicker. Must get distracted I reckon.

YellowWellies · 27/02/2013 17:00

Thanks caped hope your brother has as good a recovery. He only gets recurrences now after heavy nights on the sauce. which is rare as I'm the lush in our marriage Speaking of which just discovered my fave wines granache and sauvignon blanc are made with cows milk! Fecking diet police!!!!

GT at least once this trip is done you can enjoy your pregnancy without worrying about this trip. Plus lots of hands to cuddle LO means chance for you to nap! When do you fly?

Det what a twunt! I'd be fuming too.

DS has been feeding bar a two hour snooze, none stop since 10.30am. Wah. Hope he's not like this tomo got to pack for our trip and go to Edinburgh to see solicitor re the house sale. Envy Ha guess the extended family is going to see a lot of my tits this weekend! Blush Envy Grin

TheDetective · 27/02/2013 17:12

GT Crazy lady! I don't know how you do it!

contra DP is the only one in the family who drives! Because I taught him!!

I swear he has PMT. He's back again now, and acting like nothing ever happened. As always. Hmm

StuntNun · 27/02/2013 17:14

I thought sod the housework and went to bed for a nap. Would have had 90 minutes if it wasn't for DS2 but I did get a bit of a doze. Grin Unfortunately DH will be back in 20 minutes and I haven't even done the breakfast dishes yet. Oops!

A year ago today I got my BFP!

OP posts:
PetiteRaleuse · 27/02/2013 17:21

GT in your position the last thing I would want to be doing wouod be planning a trip half way round the world. Best of luck with it.

DH in good books. Came home early.

horseylady · 27/02/2013 17:22

A year ago today I got mine too stunt

You know what. I still wish I had the chance to bf. oh well.

ChunkyChicken · 27/02/2013 17:24

Have just put A in an Aldi nappy. He has had 3 poos today (usually one poonami every few days), 2 of which were barely contained within the confines of the nappy. Aldi nappies are meant to be good, win lots of awards etc. but who knows? Wish me luck!! Or rather wish A luck as he'll be the one wearing said deposits

Have just been over to AIBU on the bra intervention thread ( thanks stunt for bringing such threads to mind...) Asked for advice. Apparently I should try a 30GG!!!!!!! Shock Blush Shock Blush Shock Blush Shock Blush

After dinner, I shall be trawling the net to see whether they actually make such bras....

I managed to get both DC napping for maybe 1.5hrs, so just sat. Painted (clear) nail varnish on my fingernails after shaping them and generally snacking. Will be making dinner shortly, so made the most of the break!!

caped fingers crossed.

detective truly twuntish behaviour. Perhaps I'm a bit well off stuck up and judgey but I never understand how people can go most of their lives without driving!!! I understand not having a car, but being able to drive is an asset to a CV isn't it?!!

gt good luck with the packing and hope you are able to enjoy your trip.

ValiumQueen · 27/02/2013 17:42

They have found the missing Mum of three with PND. She has a 3 month old girl. Looks like she took her own life Sad

ChunkyChicken · 27/02/2013 18:03

That's incredibly sad VQ ashamed to say I am ostrich-like when it comes to the news, I no longer read/watch as I know I will get :(/Angry/disappointed so hadn't a clue about this until now Blush

Sophiathecheesefairy · 27/02/2013 18:15

Aveeno was me. Is great stuff. Am using it myself at the mo. four children. One epidural. Three with ecszema. Having said that, the one with very bad, infected and bleeding ecszema was the epidural.

rootypig · 27/02/2013 18:16

thanks manydicks, will give the Aveeno a try, might slather some on myself, the skin on my poor ravaged boobs is drier than the Gobi desert

Contradictionincarnate · 27/02/2013 18:17

I can't drive chunky Confused
I learnt at 17 took 2 tests but didn't pass... Started again a few years ago and so did DH he passed first so I gave up.

sweetpea1112 · 27/02/2013 18:18

That's so sad VQ Having suffered depression in the past I worried a lot about PND. Can't imagine the effect on the whole family. Just awful.

StuntNun · 27/02/2013 18:37

Check out the huge gazungas on Chunky! It's amazing just how wrong everyone's sizes are. I was wearing a 36F inexpertly fitted at John Lewis but when I tried the 32H it felt so much comfort.

Hold on to that feeling Horsey so that if you have another you may find it all works out for you. My DS1 would not latch on ever, he just couldn't do it, but he loved his bottles. DS2 managed pretty well and J is getting by with a crappy Hoover technique due to a tongue tie. So IME just because it goes wrong the first time doesn't mean it will again.

I'm annoyed about this star wrap as the hood completely covers his face when he's in it. Hmm

Fuck bollocks cunt. We have to go into hospital. Waiting for them to call to say when there's a spare bed. Could be tomorrow, could be next week, who knows. I hate not being able to plan. Now it's definitely happening I just want it over with. Big sweaty arseholes.

Only skim read thread but yw milk in wine wtf. Here's a diary free one for you Wine

gt safe travels and hope you manage to have fun and get some rest.

Will catch up on thread now.

ChunkyChicken · 27/02/2013 18:47

contra fair enough, but in your shoes, I'd have kept going. I couldn't not have the option iyswim. I learnt at 17/18 though, passed first time. DH didn't drive when we met but I refused to continue being his taxi driver whatever his DM chose to do was her look-out so he learnt eventually... The joint car is therefore technically mine, despite DH originally having the loan in his name :)

ChunkyChicken · 27/02/2013 18:47

Eliza what's the plan then? I cam totally understand why you want to just get on with it!!

MissMummy1 · 27/02/2013 18:50

We had our dermatologist appointment. Went well, woman knows her stuff. Got lits to try and some coconut oil emulsifier to get the last of cradle cap scales away - although aveeno is working wonders Grin - and steroid cream for hernia. Back in 3 weeks to reassess but feeling much more positive.

Matilda has awful eczema and no epidural here - sorry!

Det DP being a total knob jockey here too. I left him 2 bloody jobs today: contact credit union and make a short list of cars. Oh and hang some washing up or empty the dishwasher. He has spent all day pissing about and done none of the above Angry

Car update: the bastarding woman has gone to insurance company Angry Angry Angry . BUT she admitted liability and her company are dealing with it all, mine arent going to be involved. I am meant to be getting a courtesy car tonight (no sign yet) and mine towed away to be assessed. They also told me to email them a list of prices for car seat, base and pram that were in the car - although all undamaged and it was a light scrape they are going to replace them all. All in all I might actually come out of this better off Smile

horseylady · 27/02/2013 18:51

eliza hugs ate sat you'll hopefully get answers.

stunt I will be all over those bf specialists!!!! Flat nipples and all!! If I have another. That's a pretty big if ATM!!

MissMummy1 · 27/02/2013 18:51

fuck x post eliza. hugs x Thanks

Contradictionincarnate · 27/02/2013 18:57

chunky I didn't have the cash when I was 18 and then went to uni everything is quicker by bus etc there and car would be extra expense only moved from capital 6 years ago when I was learning I was doing charity work, studying and day job 9-7/8 most days something had to give ... when dh passed his test it became that. I still don't need to drive here and second car would be waste of money but would like to learn so me and dh can share driving wanna do a crash course!

Contradictionincarnate · 27/02/2013 18:59

aw poor Eliza hope they get your lo sorted for once and all.

BigPigLittlePig · 27/02/2013 19:21

Eliza let us know what the plan is Thanks

I've felt like a complete dogs dinner the past week, really tired and sick. Mentioned this to dh, he is making me POAS when I can find a stick There is no chance it will be positive, but hadn't crossed my mind and now he's making me all stressy Angry

Made tartiflette for tea, was a disaster, not all scrummy and creamy like I remember. And the bacon made me feel a bit sick thus adding to dhs paranoia

Going to bed on time tonight, if I post anything after 10 then tell me to fuck off please.

kirrinIsland · 27/02/2013 19:32

Thanks Eliza Hopefully you will get some answers now.

BPLP I did that this morning. Zero chance of a positive but the constant sicky tired feeling over the last week started to make me paranoid! T'was negative, of course.

YellowWellies · 27/02/2013 19:44

I don't drive either Blush my Mum was killed in a road accident when I was 17 so I didn't really fancy driving lessons at the time. Then went to uni in Oxford, lived in London and Hong Kong - none of which are car friendly. I think car drivers get so used to driving they think that life without is impossible - it isn't its just different. I'd like to learn though but its not a priority ATM. Its never been a barrier to my work but can see it could be. As a treehugger I think the biggest problem is that town planning has been car centric for years, walkable spaces make better communities and are good for the soul. Cars either isolate us into little bubbles or cause conflict over parking or insurance - or so it seems to me!

Eliza Thanks
