And she'd done a poo - looking a bit green in the semi light! Also v unusual - wonder if it's from her jabs on wed or maybe something I've eaten. Hope it doesn't take too long to settle her now she's all awake from the change - got her back on the boob. Had said I'd get straight up but if opportunity present for a bit of a lie in will def take it.

hales T is really big too, saw a one year old in the same car seat as she's in today and I didn't think there was that much difference between them! Still he must have been a tiddler to still be in the stage 0 car seat. T is easily filling out 3/6 month clothes and is only 10.5 weeks!

SpottyTeacakes · 02/03/2013 04:59

I love big smiles but not at 4:45 in the morning! Think he's almost fed back to sleep now so hopefully I'll scrape another hours sleep....

Mamapo three hourly is a good night here! Ds went down at 8, dream feeds 9:45, wake 1:10 and 4:30 so I'm feeling quite good.

I've decided baby grows have got bigger. Ds fits perfectly into all the second hand ones I've been given from people with young children (as opposed to recently outgrown) but any new ones I've bought see still massive. I'm really hungry Hmm going to try get ds into his cot...

EggsMichelle · 02/03/2013 06:08

Shock 9.15-5.30 Shock is that classed as sleeping through?

Willyou F had haemorrhaging in his eye from the labour, and the first MW who saw us at home suggested they would have to contact Safeguarding! He also has a large birth mark that looks like a bruise and I had to hassle the MW to document it in his red book so they didn't accuse me later of hurting him!

I have also made arrangements to go back to work, just to do 2-4 bank shifts a month since I haven't had any patient contact since last April. Got my restraint training for 1week on 18th March, I'm very excited!

WillYouDoTheFandango · 02/03/2013 06:43

J's done 8-12, 12:30-6:30. It's good, but I think a certain mr someone will be on the night feeds tonight as I've fine both. He literally opened his eyes, sighed fpntentedly and turned over Hmm

Yep eggs that counts!

IsThatTrue · 02/03/2013 07:11

Yay for sleeping eggs and willyou well DS2 slept 12.15-3.45 and 4.15-7 that's a great night for us!

WillYouDoTheFandango · 02/03/2013 07:18

Done and contentedly! Still half asleep. Yay for you too isthat these light at the end of the sleep deprivation tunnel!

DS is on his playgym and he's actually shrieking and gurning with happiness Smile

Saphiesgirl · 02/03/2013 07:29

Congratulations to all with sleeping babies and commiserations to those without. Dd pretty good here, right through a couple of times but not consistent. Unfortunately ds (3) still comes through in night so I'm waiting to see the benefit!
Saw consultant at hospital for follow up after the bronchiolitis. He was lovely and very impressed with her size and health. Showed us the x-ray from January and almost all of her left lung was out of commission, no wonder the wee soul couldn't breathe. She's doing well now and they took another x-ray to check. Will hear from him in a letter if we need to return, but hopefully back on track now.

Secondsop · 02/03/2013 07:32

willyou I love it when Z coos and gurgles with happiness.

Gosh the babies are getting so grown up! I am trying to keep Z hydrated in the Australian heat as he's so sleepy - am trying to make sure he finishes his bottles and also giving him breast in between. It might just be him still adjusting to the time difference as this is only our 5th day here, mightn't it? He veers between sleepy and massively alert but when he is alert he is happy - smiling and cooing and gurgling. He's been smiling whenever he meets a new person.

SpottyTeacakes · 02/03/2013 07:34

IsThat that'd be a good night for us too!

When ds wakes up in the morning he can happily go up to an hour before wanting feeding, anyone else's baby like this? I always thought it'd be hunger that wakes them and then they're just up for the day but we seem to have the opposite!

HoneyMumandSon · 02/03/2013 07:40

Hmmm, was fine in the night and just threw up a bit as he was crying 2 hours after last feed. Just looked milky/little bit cottage cheesy and nappies normal, and he's grinning away. Still nothing to worry about?

WillYouDoTheFandango · 02/03/2013 07:44

Gad to hear DD is on the mend Saphie it must be awful to see her so ill.

Spotty J alternates, sometimes he wakes up starving sometimes he waits an hour before a feed. Generally if he waits he'll finish the bottle but not if he's just woken up.

Sexonds I would have thought its just jet lag/the heat. As long as he's alert when he's awake I wouldn't worry. That's what hey say wgen they're ill.

SpottyTeacakes · 02/03/2013 07:46

Honey still fine. Ds has times when he's really sick and times when he's never sick.

Seconds sounds like you're doing the right thing Smile

IsThatTrue · 02/03/2013 07:46

honey I'd say don't worry. DS has been a bit more sicky the last few days unless accompanied by other symptoms I don't bat an eyelid tbh.

HoneyMumandSon · 02/03/2013 07:49

Thanks isthat it's just when he's never been a sicky baby and suddenly seems to be. These little people we made are very confusing...

IsThatTrue · 02/03/2013 07:57

Ds2 wasn't sicky until the last week or so, it seems tone much worse in a growth spurt when he's trying to feed constantly. I think I'm more laid back as ds1 had reflux and used to projectile vomit whole feeds up, so even a substantial sick up from ds2 looks ok in comparison.

HoneyMumandSon · 02/03/2013 08:00

That's interesting about being during a growth spurt isthat that would fit in.

halesball · 02/03/2013 08:14

Glad to hear of the good sleeps all round. H slept well last night she woke 4 times but just latched on and went to sleep whilst feeding.

Sapphies good news that your DD is feeling better Grin

Tonight is my 1st night out in over a year me and DP are going for a meal, then the cinema, then for a few drinks. My mum is having H overnight at her house. I'm abit nervous about leaving her overnight. We originally decided to do it tonight because i'm at a concert next saturday, then a friends 30th so DP was looking after H, and DP said he didn't want that night out to be my first, as i would spend the time at the concert worrying about H. However DP had to change shifts in work (he works permanent nights) because i have to take my dad to hospital on tuesday morning so now hes working next saturday meaning i now have to leave H with my mum for 2 saturdays. Confused

IsThatTrue · 02/03/2013 08:30

hales try not to worry H will be fine, he'll love having nanny to fuss over him. Enjoy your nights out.

I'm looking forward to 2 wks time, my mums coming to visit and we're attending a family party to show ds2 off. It'll only be the 3rd time mums seen ds2 so in really looking forward to seeing them together. Really wish they lived closer!

SpottyTeacakes · 02/03/2013 08:51

Ds's wearing his first 'outfit' today..... Too grown up he'll be back in a grow tomorrow!

halesball · 02/03/2013 09:07

Isthat, i bet your excited i'm lucky having my mum right around the corner. Plus getting to show your LO off at a family party theres nothing better.

Awww spotty bet he looks dead cute. I only dress H in outfits if we're going out as well. The rest of the time she lives in babygrows.

FriendofDorothy · 02/03/2013 09:09

Poor Edward has a horrible cold and woke himself up when he couldn't breathe properly. I think it muse have scared him because he was inconsolable. Horrid :(

What can I do to ease his congestion?

SpottyTeacakes · 02/03/2013 09:15

FoD saline drops/spray, prop up cot/Moses where his head is, sit in a steamy bathroom. Hope he feels better soon

HoneyMumandSon · 02/03/2013 09:43

spotty what sort of outfit? D is usually in leggings and a tshirt in the day as I find it easier!

SpottyTeacakes · 02/03/2013 10:00

It's a t-shirt and jogging bottoms/trousers type thing! I want to keep him a baby forever Wink

HoneyMumandSon · 02/03/2013 10:09

Aww. Bless. Nothing wrong with wanting to keep him little!
