Maybe the smell of food is starting to make him feel hungry. LO comes on my knee when we eat and she is happy like that, watching us eat. I'm starting her on the the purees this weekend. I have been too lazy to do so this week. I was going to make her a sweet potato puree earlier in the week but I decided to use them to bull out a curry instead.

Tomorrow, carrots, and possibly a pear.

TheDetective · 22/02/2013 13:17

He has been the same since he was born PR! Never changed!!

PetiteRaleuse · 22/02/2013 13:22

YellowWellies · 22/02/2013 13:27

PetiteRaleuse · 22/02/2013 13:32

My fridge is empty of cheese. And paté. And anything of any real interest.

Bt this weekend I will buy the ingredients for a make a fondu on your behalf YW

And a raclette.

Raclette is freaking fab if you've never had it. Real winter yumminess.

TheDetective · 22/02/2013 13:37

Not long now... April. I will eat ALL the Raclette! Start stock piling now if you ever want to eat it again PR. Grin

TheDetective · 22/02/2013 13:40

Just been singing to myself 'with his number fucker-uper, he's number motherfucker'. Hope the children did not hear me. Grin

Stupid cbeebies. That numbertaker is some scary shit. I'd have nightmares about him!

YellowWellies · 22/02/2013 13:40

Wooo I adore raclette nom, nom and thrice nom I tell thee. its a good thing he's cute. I trade a limb for some cambazola or roblachon right now.Envy

PetiteRaleuse · 22/02/2013 13:43

What's happening in April Detective ?

How about tartiflette? Or the Jura version, morbiflette.

Yum.

I love France.

But I still want some fish and chips. June.

Contradictionincarnate · 22/02/2013 13:44

what is raclette have heard of it but unsure.
I have the best chip shop which is also a Chinese takeaway about 5 mins away next to my fave pub ... is the biggest temptation!
det your not alone my dd also cries when I want to eat :( me and dh take turns to eat in the eve ... not a morsel has crossed my lips yet today ...but once I start I can't stop! probably why I'm actually putting weight on not off!!

PetiteRaleuse · 22/02/2013 13:46

Raclette is a type of cheese that you melt and serve with cold meats and baked or boiled potatoes. It is really really comforting luxurious deliciousness.

TheDetective · 22/02/2013 13:48

And pickled onions and lots of black cracked pepper....

I'm going to Switzerland PR. Although at this rate, we will be going minus clothes. Too poor!

PetiteRaleuse · 22/02/2013 13:49

Ooh lovely, that'll be so nice

TheDetective · 22/02/2013 13:54

What, me, naked? No. Not nice at all. .

PetiteRaleuse · 22/02/2013 13:59

StuntNun · 22/02/2013 14:08

TheDetective · 22/02/2013 14:09

Both children are sleeping yes, the lazy 10 year old is having a nap WTF!! and I am watching cbeebies.

I need a knock to the head. Hmm

Mr Bloom, he's a bit weird isn't he?! He's off to collect some tiddlers... erm?! Okay....

TheDetective · 22/02/2013 14:11

Well if we are having foody friday... can anyone suggest some nice low fat, low calorie recipes! Only involving chicken, or no meat! Or something that can be substituted with soya mince!

Today we are having Fajhitas. As a treat.

But tomorrow I need something healthier.

PetiteRaleuse · 22/02/2013 14:17

Most of my chicken recipes involve pie or curry detective.

But how about marinading some chicken in lemon juice, garlic and rosemary, then baking and serving with onion rice.

glendathefedupwitch · 22/02/2013 14:18

ohhhhhhh foody friday!!! so far ive had cheesy chip for lunch while at a soft play area - omd those places in half term are pure hell - and they bump the prices of food n drink cheeky bar stewards - had i not been meeting a friend id have been the wicked withc and disappointed dd1 and gone to asda instead lol

TheDetective · 22/02/2013 14:19

That sounds damn good PR. Will tell DP. He loves doing stuff like that! Could serve that with sweet potatoes. I love sweet potatoes!

What is onion rice btw?

kissyfur · 22/02/2013 14:24

Ummm foody Friday! Love raclette and most French cheeses, infact most cheeses!

Managed to get LO to sleep in her buggy with the extractor fan on while I got a beef stew in the slow cooker, made a plum crumble and had some lunch. Sadly feel quite proud that I managed to get all that done! This week has mostly been spent watching Tv on sofa with poorly children.

It's snowing here...

Catbag · 22/02/2013 14:25

DH makes raclette for me when I feel like I need to up calories for more milk supply. Good DH. Nom nom nom.

detective The visual of you barking at journalouses made me giggle. A lot. Strangely, if I were to pick one of the quiche most likely to bark at naughty people, it would be you... Grin

kissyfur · 22/02/2013 14:27

Detective I do a similar thing to PR with chicken, marinade thigh fillets in lemon juice, garlic, honey and wholegrain mustard. The bake til nice and brown. Yummy. Serve with cous cous or rice, or sweet potatoes!

TheDetective · 22/02/2013 14:28

Cat Where do you get your cheese from?!

I got some once in the christmas markets, but it didn't taste the same :(

Likewise, the one I ordered over the internet that needed a new mortgage to buy didn't taste right. Think they were a bit smoky. I don't like it smoky!

ROFL! I'm a bit feisty. Unfortunately for others in my life. Grin

But I'm only like that with knobheads. Nice people get nice detective, for I am. Nice that is. Usually. I hope. Confused
