Ok Blush I need to say this. I've been trying to post about it for a few days. But I'm embarrassed. And slightly freaking out. But I think I need to invoke Sod's law.

I'm four days late. I bled 6 weeks after having LO. A month later 1st period. 27later 2nd.

Hence me asking other day about how quickly you got bk to a regular cycle.

I DO NOT THINK I'm pg. I had no "implantation" pains which were very obvious last time. And I think I've I mean we have only dtd once. Yes I know it only takes one time.

Oh fuck. I'm freaking out. To scared to tell H.
With it being one year ago today POAS for this LO oh shit Wine

MissMummy1 · 28/01/2013 22:26

Sophia I thought exactly the same thing. Blush

M is being really hard work this evening. Feed feed feed. Screaming if I try and put her down. Cut to nobber man: "do you think she is actually getting any of your milk?" Angry Angry Angry

TheDetective · 28/01/2013 22:29

Evil :( are you okay? You sound a little down lately. Does 'D'P have any redeeming qualities? He seems to be making your life much harder.

I'd tell him you're going to force feed him, then see if he likes it. Hmm.

I hope he has a big willy some good points. :)

Sophiathesnowfairy · 28/01/2013 22:30

gt cycles can be extremely irregular after having a baby. I am usually spot on 34 days but after DS1 I ranged from 27 to 44 days. POAS to be sure though, if it is BFN you will just have to have your wits about you!

TheDetective · 28/01/2013 22:31
GTbaby · 28/01/2013 22:33

Soph how long till u settled back into a regular cycle?

TheDetective · 28/01/2013 22:35

I no have period still. Hello? Eggies? Where are you?!

ValiumQueen · 28/01/2013 22:37

I hope you win pass but you do need to buy a ticket.

gt poas tomorrow. Just a cheapie from poundland will tell you.

evil that sounds lovely too. You do sound low though.

Everything will chaffe if sucked long enough.

ValiumQueen · 28/01/2013 22:39

Are you using contraception GT ? If not then start!

BigPigLittlePig · 28/01/2013 22:40

My periods used to be so regular that I knew I was pregnant at 10.45 on a Friday when it hadn't started at 10. Not even joking. It took me a week to pluck up the courage to POAS though! Not sure if the nausea that week was the beginning of morning sickness or just plain nerves! Haven't had anything yet, and GP said to just start cerazette, which makes me think I won't have a period until I stop the pill to try for dc2....scary.

Evil how does next week sound for that meet up? Hope you're ok Thanks

DonnaDoon · 28/01/2013 22:40

Congrats GT (lol joking sorry) it does have advantages having them close together though...I'm going to TTC again this year

Sophiathesnowfairy · 28/01/2013 22:43

18 months. gt with the help of homeopathy.

TheDetective · 28/01/2013 22:45

This year?! Shock

Crazy ladies keeping me in business!!.

GTbaby · 28/01/2013 22:48

Donna I want a small gap too. But not this small! Was thinking more the end of the year.

On a side bar. LO skipped a feed this morning as he woke late. Then had v big gaps in feed resulting in him only now having had his 7pm feed. Usually he has had 6feeds by now. But today only 4. I tried giving a few extra oz at each to mk up for it. But he didn't drink them.
He has been sneezing alot... Could be coming down with something?

yes I am trying to stress about something else

YellowWellies · 28/01/2013 22:51

MM give him a slap from me - M is getting plenty of milk from you (she's clearly thriving) but is just fussing to up your supply as she's a growing girl! Grrr blokes should be kicked in the happy sacks for making such unhelpful comments on a subject they have no experience of.

GTbaby · 28/01/2013 22:54

VQ. Yes the pill. But I have hardly taken it as I always forget.

BPLP It took me 3 days last time to pluck up courage to do test. Even tho I had a clear blue n could have done it 7 days earlier.

It's normal for AF to b a bitch after having a baby!

ValiumQueen · 28/01/2013 23:12

GT if you are not taking it regularly then it will not protect you. Perhaps a chat with the GP for something more appropriate. Although I think you want to get pg again. Just reading between the lines.

ValiumQueen · 28/01/2013 23:13

I am aware that is totally none of my business before you 'do a detective' and tell me to fuck off x

TheDetective · 28/01/2013 23:16

I have ring sting. And it isn't DP's curry for tea that did it. I blame walking around Ikea Hmm.

I bought a mini ironing board. For ironing baby clothes. Sad bastard. But thought it would make things easier! It was only £4?!

Oscar went down with no fuss again tonight. He didn't even have a dummy or Ewan. He is swaddled with his legs sticking out though. He didn't stir when I put him in the basket. What is he up to...?!

I've noticed he has finally settled in to a routine of feed times. 8-9am, 11-12midday, 3-4pm, 6-7pm, and then a bedtime one when he starts whinging, usually around 9ish, although we delay a little and do a bath sometimes, so he has it at 9.30. Then his night one is 5-6am, but he wakes and has an extra one in the small hours if he hasn't had enough during the day. So I am going to make sure he has had enough!

I am finally feeling like we are getting in to the swing of things. I just hope the swing doesn't snap!

ValiumQueen · 28/01/2013 23:17

I have come upstairs now and was chatting to DH for 5 mins and he has decided to go downstairs. He did say that he would not blame me if I left him. I said to him it is my fucking house and if his mum lived nearer I would have sent him there on more than one occasion recently. I also told him I love him. Actually, come to think of it, that was just before he said he was going downstairs.

ChunkyChicken · 28/01/2013 23:25

Sort of skim read the thread so can't comment on specific posts, sorry!!

We wouldn't need to win the jackpot, a £1/4million would be sufficient to change things quite dramatically. I wouldn't necessarily have to work, DH could change his job to one he actually enjoyed, as we wouldn't have a mortgage. Any earnings would be to cover living costs. If we did win the jackpot on the rare occasion we play, we'd build our own place and have more kids I expect!!

DS has been a little cherub all day, dd has been good too. DH is doing the dying-swan act with barely even a cold!! I've managed to print the nearly 400 photos from my phone and sort them, putting them in an album, but I've run out of room.

Think I'm going to unsubscribe from FLYlady. Whilst there are some great ideas, I'm doing a lot of it anyway and certainly can't be doing with the millions of product advertisements testimonials all day.

Bed time, DS sounding grumpy... Good night all!

ValiumQueen · 28/01/2013 23:27

I think the little ironing board is for sleeves detective but good for baby clothes too. Good news about settling. Hope you have a good night.

I have offered J a tenner if he sleeps through.

TheDetective · 28/01/2013 23:29

I think he would prefer you to offer booby VQ Grin.

Or an Argos gift voucher. Think that would be appreciated.

I need 5 million.

I'm not greedy. I've just got it all worked out. Honest. Grin

TheDetective · 28/01/2013 23:32

I wasn't sure what the ironing board was for, but since I seem to be doing a lot of the bloody stuff all of a sudden, I figured it would come in useful. We need a new ironing board really, mine is dead, but I want a fancier one than I have now. And for that, I need money. I can't justify it, until the other one snaps!

Have a steam generator iron, and would like a board that is meant for one, instead of my crappy £15 one with the broken iron stand and the bits foam that drop off on to my feet, and water drops burning my legs every time I iron.

ValiumQueen · 28/01/2013 23:46

If I win the lottery I will buy detective a swanky new ironing set-up. If I win big, that is.

DS asleep. DD2 settled. Get into bed and DD1 appears. Bad dream and very very hot. She is now snoring next to me. This too will pass. This too will pass. This too will pass.

detective you are right. My boobs are worth way more than a tenner, and the milk is extra warm at the moment.
