I still can't find my red book, I've even checked my knicker drawer! Gr........
Oh I wish I could find it. P tried to force feed N. not happy with him What am I going to do with him?

Now for something funny. I've taken the pram seat off the top of the wardrobe, and how the hell are you surposed to get the baby in is another thing! Well N is getting snug in his car seat so I wanted to try him in the seat. If only I could figure out how to uses the thing!

On my drive to and from work I used to plan what I would spend a
Lottery winning on - I have never, ever played the lottery.

I decided that £250,000 would be a lovely amount to win. I would still work but we could pay off all our considerable debt and put some away.

Were we to go bigger . . .
My mum would retire.
I would buy my parents their own house
I would give a large lump sum to my two siblings while also giving access to my own personal finance adviser
We would buy a lovely home/DH would get to manage the self-build he is so keen to do
We would set up a charitable foundation which focussed on educational opportunities for all
I would have a wing built onto the school I work in which would house the pastoral support services. Kids could go there to access school nurses, careers advisers, counselling and quiet time. Oooo and it would have a sensory suit and be beautifully decorated.

I have given this some thought!!

PetiteRaleuse · 28/01/2013 22:00

It's the third in 5 years and the recession is always used as an excuse.... It just means more hours and more stress and he is already seriously stressed to the point I am worried about him.

Anyway, if I won the lottery I have my eye on a very specific chateau in the Pyrenees which I would buy and run as a b&b (with staff, as I want to be able to do my own thing). It's in the foothills pf the mountains, but with view towards the sea and it's fab and I want it. Off season or whenever needed I would let it for free to charities working with to DV survivors and their children. I would give up my corporate slavery job and spend any free time writing.

DonnaDoon · 28/01/2013 22:03

Hi Evil so annoying about your red book, you've probably put it somewhere safe too safe lol, either that or it may have fell down the back of a radiator? With regards to P trying to what? Give him a bottle he didn't want ?

PetiteRaleuse · 28/01/2013 22:04

Yes, I know, garlic butter isn't difficult to make. But garlic na'an is more time consuming. Yum. Missing British food thisevening,

I hope that doesn't mean I should think about POAS.

PetiteRaleuse · 28/01/2013 22:04

Na'an? I meant naan. I think.

TheDetective · 28/01/2013 22:06

Poas, poas, poas! I love a good poas thread!

Grin
fruitpastilles · 28/01/2013 22:08

What is poas?

TheDetective · 28/01/2013 22:08

I love this little baby just a little too much. Is it possible to love too much?!

Pathetic Detective! Now who needs grips, huh?!

TheDetective · 28/01/2013 22:09

Pee on a stick.

Or piss. Whichever you prefer!

fruitpastilles · 28/01/2013 22:09

Oh yeah, durr Smile

PetiteRaleuse · 28/01/2013 22:11

I was joking. There will be no POAS thread from me. Unless someone is ready to write the Even Newer Testament. Because Cerazette is seriously good at the birth control. Permanent AF.

I'm just craving food from home. It's time I placed an order with the British shop.

Izzybuzzybuzzybees · 28/01/2013 22:12

We have a sleeping baby. I came upstairs and put him in crib awake. Turned on Ewan and he's fallen asleep all on his own!!! Yay!!! Now my turn. No idea when he will need fed tho which could mean I only get an hour or so before hes hungry but I don't care. He's asleep!!

horseylady · 28/01/2013 22:14

Detective - I know many people with silver spoons. I'm glad both dh and I share similar up childhoods!! Some people on that post are the reason this country is in the shit!!! Credit, credit, credit. Fine if you can afford it!!

PetiteRaleuse · 28/01/2013 22:14

Night everyone. LO had a bout of what I thought was colic this evening, but my DH came through and told me she is overtired. She has been sleeping in her pram a lot earlier in the evening than I was aware. The last few nights I have been going to bed ealy to read /MN / sleep. LO has been turning in early too..

PetiteRaleuse · 28/01/2013 22:15

It'll only get worse as long as those bloody shocking pay day loans keep going.

TheDetective · 28/01/2013 22:15

Amen Horsey!

Evilwater · 28/01/2013 22:18

Donna it was a bottle. He was crying and P answer to any crying is feed him, he didn't want the bottle then. He needed to calm down and then have the bottle.

as for the lottery it depends on how much I won.
1, buy P out of the house and gut it out. Then I can kick him out! Or just buy a better place to live and move out, leaving him with this house he hates to spend money on.
2, quit work and set up my own business, as a home care company.
Depending on how much I won I could give mental health to my mum how has decades of experiance, and child care to my sister who all ready does the job. We would focus on Quailty and time. Every member of staff would be trainned properly, with an exam at the end. They would be shadowed until I felt they were safe. Proper time would be allocated to visits. In fact I'd love to set this now but I have no funds.
3, give the rest of the money away.
4, make sure N has money for a good school.
5, buy a property in bath. I love that city!

Oh and just for the record, a rich P, dosn't mean you can spend loads of money. He holds on to it for grim death. In fact he wants to take it with him.

DonnaDoon · 28/01/2013 22:23
