Rofl blonder Grin

TheDetective · 14/01/2013 22:21

LMAO Blonder! I had that happen once, or at least I thought I did. My instinct was to drop throw the baby on the bed Blush. Worst thing was, it hadn't even escaped. Duuuuh.

Chunky We may have the same other half. Hmm

My eBay name is pinkglittergirl don't ask. I was 18 OKAY! if you want to see how I have done mine? I have done 2 very small bundles. Most stuff is Next, Mothercare or M&S. I bundled the tesco stuff together as it all matches. The Next sleepsuits I have bundled as I bought them in the sets of 3. Haven't bothered with vests. I don't think these sell much?

Next sleepsuit sets sell well if you have them. I checked end prices for the things I was selling.

I have got more stuff to put on but waiting for another free listing weekend. It was free the weekend just gone.

TheDetective · 14/01/2013 22:22

Oh fgs stupid formatting. It is * * pinkglittergirl * * stars all together.

TheDetective · 14/01/2013 22:27

Oscar is a leggy blonde big footed skinny thing. Suspect this is the problem with the clothes!

TheDetective · 14/01/2013 22:31

Anyone thought about a jumperoo? Anyone know what age they are suitable from? Seen a 2nd hand one on facebook for £35 and was considering it to add to the massive collection of baby shite cluttering my living room now while I have the money. I'll be skint in 9 days time when I get my first proper maternity pay wage!

NotSoNervous · 14/01/2013 22:33

Grin blonder I'm still waiting praying for DD to get completely cover DP in poo

My lo is really long legged, she's 12w and newborn is still spacious around the arms and chest but not the legs

Sophiathesnowfairy · 14/01/2013 22:38

detective I have just looked at your listings on eBay they are fantabulous. Do you photograph them on a table with the light on above or do something fancy?

TheDetective · 14/01/2013 22:40

Oh! I thought they were crappy pics! Table has light right above, but it kept throwing shadows meaning I had to take at strange angles stood on chairs.

Am hoping to take better ones next time. In the day. In natural lighting!

MissMummy1 · 14/01/2013 22:43

Growth spurt night 2. She's showing no signs of settling Sad

Still love actually is on itv2 and DH left the laptop at home Smile

Sophiathesnowfairy · 14/01/2013 22:49

I hope there is a miracle mm and you get some sleep Thanks

pikz · 14/01/2013 22:55

Dectective I have a blonde very leggy skinny boy too. He is outgrowing all his 0-3 in length and he's 7 weeks :(

He also has my stinking cold and has been screaming since 4pm. Please pray for sleep soon.

Titsalinabumsquash · 14/01/2013 22:56

J refusing to settle too, he's had a bottle and drained it but he wants boob for comfort and they feel like they're on fire so I just can't Sad

TooManyDicksOnTheDancefloor · 14/01/2013 23:01

I'm in growth spurt hell night 1 MM, amazing timing as Bronwen is a day younger than Matilda I think.

MissMummy1 · 14/01/2013 23:08

I have a feeling we'll be keeping each other company tonight dicks - M is 6 weeks today.

Thanks sophia - I'm holding onto the fact DH is on leave for a week after Wednesday night so can amuse her between feeds. Failing that her swing should be here before then.

I'm in two minds whether or not to eBay her clothes. She's already outgrown 2 ikea bags full. BUT I can't part with it. And I'm now pretty sure I want another (despite all my initial protests... Blush ) so would be pointless selling it only to buy it all again in a few years time. And I'm a soppy sentimental bugger and get all weepy when I look at things she once fitted...

BigPigLittlePig · 14/01/2013 23:13

MM - 2 ikea bags full and I thought I'd got a lot of clothes for LO haha. Ditto your last paragraph, have been sat here staring into space and thinking, well sensible thing to do would be to sell stuff, but maybe I should just hang onto it although what are the chances of having a prem girl again eh

In fairness a lot of it was hand-me-downs or eBay bundles that she never got a chance to wear. I still can't get over the fact she's nearly out of 0-3 months Shock . I got a bit upset looking through all of her lovely 3-6 outfits and realising that at this rate she probably won't have a chance to wear them all.

This isn't really justification to have another baby, is it? Hmm

Clarella · 14/01/2013 23:23

our first proper eve(night?) of growth spurt hell too many and mm - I think? he was due some time as your babes (26th Nov) though a little late to the party ;) (10th Nov) - basically inconsolable crying that even the boob can't solve - from 6 till just now. kept trying to feed and then yelling and grabbing it. sound similar? including panicked dash by dh to mothercare to buy rocking swing we've deemed essential in helping us through this phase

have to say, bless dh (please don't boak) he had George from 8 till 10:30 battling crying and aforementioned swing assembly in equal measure. I reckon in days gone by such a device was called "extended willing family who live near or with us"

PetiteRaleuse · 14/01/2013 23:24

12 week growth spurt going on here. That or catching up on food from being ill. Either way this little piggy has stuffed her little face all day. Just woke her up fir a little more and then should bedown for the night.. Epecting 5cm of snow tonight. Hopefully DD1 will get to try out her new sledge tomorrow afternoon.

Night all !

TooManyDicksOnTheDancefloor · 14/01/2013 23:26

I just can't be arsed with the hassle of eBay. I'll probably send my stuff to the charity shop. I am going to eBay my birth pool though. I'll also eBay my natal hypnotherapy book and CD's. I'm definitely not having another!

TooManyDicksOnTheDancefloor · 14/01/2013 23:33

You've just described my night exactly clarella, I also passed Bronwen to Dh from 8.30-10pm and went for a sleep. I think we're in it for the long haul tonight!

How much does Matilda weigh MM? Bronwen isn't in 0-3 months yet, she seems to have short arms and legs like her mother

TooManyDicksOnTheDancefloor · 14/01/2013 23:34

She seems to have fallen asleep, do I risk the transfer? (I realise I'm probably talking to myself)

PetiteRaleuse · 14/01/2013 23:35

I bought all DD1's and therefore LO's clothes, prams, cots etc o n ebay.

Am thinking I should really donate rather than split up and re-sell, as everything was so cheap. And selling on fourth hand things seems a little bit stingy..

So I'll be sorting through and just selling on the good stuff, but will donate the pram and soe of the clothes. Sems like a good compromise.

Clarella · 14/01/2013 23:46

me - I'll try some more boob
dh - ok he really liked the swing. he's just been sick.
me - why did you take him out?
dh - I didn't want him to be sick.

oh god. 'the transfer of doom. which way will it go?'
