I hope you have a better day today PR. Maybe getting your shopping done will reduce the stress a bit. Can you buy a few treats for yourself and your DH?
Glenda I started taking Pregnacare Breastfeeding because my nails were breaking. They're expensive but you can get 3 for 2 offers at Boots and Tesco. You need to be getting lots of calcium which you can get through supplements or in your diet. You also need vitamin D, in fact everyone needs vitamin D, as a nation we are chronically deficient. My mum is a HV in Manchester and she sees cases of rickets in the Asian population. It's such a shame when children's vitamin drops are so cheap and it could be prevented.
My oldest two have weight issues Pass and I couldn't tell you the number of times I've been near tears because someone has said, "Isn't he getting big" or something similar. People just can't judge. I'm sure your MIL sees changes over time so she can see improvement but can't tell that it's a slow gain. On the positive side Lane I've never had that problem where they grow out of their new clothes/shoes in a month! DS1 had the same pair of shoes for a year once, I had to buy him new ones in the same size because they were worn out!
My mum calls James 'The Baby' as well. She really hates his name this is the same woman that thought Aurora was a good name.
Blonder when I change nappies I put the new one under him before undoing the old one. Then open the old nappy, lift it a bit then put it back down. The waft of cold air makes him wee into the old nappy. Then I whisk the old nappy away, clean him quickly and put the top of the new nappy over him. It seems to be pretty foolproof and having the new nappy in place is handy in case of number 2s mid-change as well.
It's normal to feel like that when you're so sleep-deprived Tits. I've been beside myself with tiredness, crying because I feel too tired to change a nappy at night. Could you express a bottle for DP to take one of the night feeds? Even one better night's sleep would help you, it doesn't have to be every night. Does co-sleeping help at all? Could you get a nap during the day at all?
