Today has gone really well. N is very tired, and it's taken 2 hours to get him to sleep!! Well here is hoping.

Seriously I'm still I'm my maternity trousers as I have jumped from a size 10 to a 16-18. Blush Angry I think the different pill has done this
So on Monday, I'm back to healthly eating and exercise.
Anyone want to join me???

Evilwater · 27/12/2012 20:25

He still isn't asleep. Gr...... Angry
Evil.

ValiumQueen · 27/12/2012 20:27

evil I am in. From Monday.

Just tried DS with dentinox. Boy did he scream! I had a taste and it is very strong. He did not have a full dose so unlikely to be able to tell if it helps or not. He screamed himself to sleep with the aid of a boob too. Scared to move him now.

I never understood mums who used Muslins. Until now. I do not even approach J without a muslin to hide behind.

Evilwater · 27/12/2012 20:34

VQ- we need rules! No chocolate, sweets or biscuits?

Evil

horseylady · 27/12/2012 20:39

< coughs> start now

Evilwater · 27/12/2012 20:43

Ok horsey, your our excerise coach!!! And motivator. Grin

So what shall we start with????
Evil

ValiumQueen · 27/12/2012 20:45

Oh fuck! We are doomed if horsey is in charge

ValiumQueen · 27/12/2012 20:45

Doomed to succeed that is. And have no fun.

Evilwater · 27/12/2012 20:49

I need to succeed! I want to wear my clothes again!
Evil

ValiumQueen · 27/12/2012 21:00

Me too. And we will find joy and happiness in endorphines and size 10s and pleasing horsey I get extra food for breast feeding though.

In bed with my two favourite boys. One nuzzling my breast, the other jealous.

horseylady · 27/12/2012 21:04

Eat what you want. In moderation. As soon as you restrict you'll crave but there are alternatives to what you might want.

I just advocate exercise!!!

Lifestyle change not diet :)

Endorphins are great lol !!

CandyPop · 27/12/2012 21:07

I'm in too!!!! So start Monday right?! Ok better finish off all the chocolate and biscuits in the house then Grin
Come Monday, no chocolate , biscuits nor sweets! DEAL

Evilwater · 27/12/2012 21:15

Candy- and exercise too!

Horsey you must tell us what we need to start off with!
Evil

CandyPop · 27/12/2012 21:19

Yes exercise too! Just waiting for the all clear from docs and then no more excuses !

PetiteRaleuse · 27/12/2012 21:28

DD1 has both pneumonia and bronchiolitis Hmm and will be in hospital until her sats are up. Tomorrow they are starting on physio already. My beautiful strong girl is very scared and weak. It's horrible to see. But she is in the best place and they really seem very good.

DH is staying with her overnight. I am not allowed to take LO in so will get her babysat again on Saturday and go visit. Being away from her I feel like someone has ripped off a limb but I have to look after LO.

And hope and pray that LO doesn't get the same cold. Am saline dropping her to within an inch of her life but there's not much else I can do.

Missing DH & DD1 and won't see them tomorrow :(

Apparently the chief of paed unit was in to see her tnight as her fever shot up. She's getting good treatment. Poor baby.

Evilwater · 27/12/2012 21:29

Ok does anyone know about portion control? I have some great recipes but I suck at portion control.
Evil

Catbag · 27/12/2012 21:42

petite How awful for you. Seems so much worse at this time of year. Sounds like she is being taken good care of though

Ok, so I am in for the gen fitness thing and I am happy to subjugate myself to horsey's whip cracking, subject to a couple of caveats- I have to eat just over a thousand extra calories on top of those that keep me alive in order to feed my two, and I also need to be pointed in the direction of exercise that I can do with two limpets who do not allow me to leave the room, let alone leave them for half an hour to for a jog. It sounds like hard work already Hmm

ChunkyTurkeywiththetrimmings · 27/12/2012 21:45

OMG I have just had the most agonizing let-down sensation when I approached a crying Aaron after a 3hr feed interval!!! Shock

I am in that in-between stage wrt clothes. Butt/thighs/tum/tits too big for normal stuff, too small for maternity.

A has grown so much in the last week!! He is pretty much now 0-3size, despite the up to 1mth stuff being a little big a week ago!! Thank god we were given loads of the 0-3 stuff otherwise he would be naked. He was weighed 2wks ago today at 9lb 13oz after putting on 10oz in 6 days so who knows what he weighs now??!!!

YellowWellies · 27/12/2012 21:47

I'm in too! Feeling very lucky to have horsey on this thread!

PetiteRaleuse · 27/12/2012 21:48

I'm too small for maternity now too but so much flab means my usual clothes give me quite a splendid muffin top. Wll join you ladies in the fitness regime when this bloody cough cold nightmare has ended.

NervousReindeer · 27/12/2012 22:18

I want to be in but we have been given so much junk for Christmas it would be criminal to not eat it Xmas Sad if the good stuff most of its gone by Monday then I'm in.evil I'm crap with portion control too

NervousReindeer · 27/12/2012 22:19

Aw petite at least you know she's getting good care and treatment please try and get as much rest as possible

ValiumQueen · 27/12/2012 22:20

PR poor you and poor DD1 x
