LO has only ever worn vest and babygros too. Even when taken out and about. I was criticised for that with DD1 but I'm sticking to it with this one too. And will do for a good few months except on very very special occasions. Less faff for everone I think.

Passmethecrisps · 03/12/2012 17:11

Oh, and p got her first book today. 'We're going on a bear hunt'. We just read it - she looked at some of the pages then fell asleep. Need more books!

Passmethecrisps · 03/12/2012 17:13

But clothes seem like such hard work! I reckon clothes at about 2 to 3 months and maybe only then when we leave the house - which at my current standard is not likely to be often

TheDetective · 03/12/2012 17:18

It will be Christmas Eve before Oscar wears his first proper outfit more than likely! I'll get something special for him then! He has outfits, I just haven't wanted to put them on him!

When we go out he has a white cardi and white hat, a white 'snowsuit' (it is a thinner fleecy materiel, like one of those popcorn blankets!) with a matching blanket over the top. No one knows he is in a babygrow! Not that I'd care. Grin

I'm just watching xfactor on catch up. I have done no housework today. I am however showered and dressed. But only because we had our first visitors still didn't have time to straighten hair or make bed before they arrived. Grin

I am tired today, and I don't care if nothing has been done!

TheDetective · 03/12/2012 17:21

I just remembered, I do actually have things I need to do... like finishing the last few christmas decorations off! Tinsel up the bannister - cheese!

And I want to wrap the presents we have bought so far, and put them under the tree, so it looks 'finished' Grin.

Maybe later...

YellowWellies · 03/12/2012 17:21

Pass Jonas is a babygrow and vest man. I found babygrows without feet too much faff as I was having to fanny around with socks (keep falling off) so anything else would be far too much fuss for me at this stage slummy. The ambiguity of day / night wear is fab - no one can tell if he's up and dressed or not. He's got the rest of his life to wear jeans and jumpers. Can't be arsed just yet. Besides... onesies are in fashion aren't they? Grin

Chunkychicken · 03/12/2012 17:23

Hate FB. Tried to share a photo with the group & it posted to my timeline, then I deleted it because the description related to this group and I don't want all my RL friends knowing my MN name and to realised the photo was taken through FB so I've lost it... grr. Angry

Chunkychicken · 03/12/2012 17:24

Plus my phone is playing up. Not a happy bunny.

TheDetective · 03/12/2012 17:24

How did you manage to take it through facebook?!

Chunkychicken · 03/12/2012 17:26

I'm a babygro + vest Mummy too for every day, although he has worn one or two other outfits on special occasions.

Chunkychicken · 03/12/2012 17:28

On the phone app, it has the option to share a photo which then uses the camera but with an on-screen button. Don't use it that often detective now I remember why!!!

DesperateHousewife21 · 03/12/2012 17:29

We're either vest+ sleepsuit or vest + top and tights/ leggings.

Def NO jeans, and I'm going to keep her out of jeans for as long as I possibly can.
I have ds to dress in jeans, dd is going to be girl Xmas Grin

TheDetective · 03/12/2012 17:29

I'm dipping this child in a bath of olive oil tonight. And he isn't coming out til he has a new skin! His eyelids just peeled off FFS! You can't touch him with out him peeling :( Poor boy!

I really need to get on with getting DP's christmas presents. I'd post what I am getting him, but since he likes a sly read on here now and then do bugger off dear Grin I will keep it to myself. I have some nice ideas this year...

The dog is getting a bone and a teddy.

Both DS's have everything now.

Just a few family members to buy for. And DP!

I need to get christmas cards, really really need to get writing them, as I have a lot to do!!

DesperateHousewife21 · 03/12/2012 17:30

Girly* lol obv she's a girl!

TheDetective · 03/12/2012 17:31

OHEMGEE!! DP just got in from the shop - with a Tango Shock Rock - basically popping candy with a lollipop.... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

I have a belly to shift argghhhhhhh.

Passmethecrisps · 03/12/2012 17:38

All our Christmas presents are sitting in the boxes they were delivered in. Must get to it and actually wrap them.

We don't have any baby grows without feet. Primarily because I bought all the newborn/small baby ones so they are all scratch mit, footed and front poppered. Anything else is too much like hard work. We have been given some smashing outfits but most are for when she is bigger. Do people have an issue with babies in baby grows? We have been given a thousand little cardies and she never wears them - when would she? If we go out she has a thick pram suit and a pram blanket.

I know what you did chunky I have done than before. V annoying indeed.

In other news, poor P has thrush in her mouth. Not a bad case but it is showing no sign of clearing up. Poor wee sausage.

YellowWellies · 03/12/2012 17:44

Oh poor P!

J wears his cardies knitted by Nana - when the house is cold and in photos for MIL they are lovely. But as you say not much use for outdoors.

GTbaby · 03/12/2012 17:47

Hmm lo has slept all day Confused. Woke at 10 for an hour n has been on and off but mostly sleeping since 2. Really hope he sleeps tonight. Going to have bath time in an hour as he usually sleeps well after one. Nothing is keeping him awake. Any help?

MM welcome! We're you the last nov mum?

My LO,fx, is quite clean n I only change when he needs to. About an outfit a day.

Titsalinabumsquash · 03/12/2012 17:53

So we've solved the mystery, I don't have cold sores and I didn't break the baby (I thought he'd got stuck in scream mode!)

We do infact have thrush, me on my nipple and him in his mouth. :( off to the GP... Anyone know how they treat it in me/him and if I can feed him whilst having it. Confused

TheDetective · 03/12/2012 18:01

For him and you - anti fungal stuff. Most commonly used for baby is Nystatin, its drops that smell bloody lovely. I think for boobs its cream. I haven't seen boob thrush since community days, so again, not sure what is used now, but think its cream.

And yes, you can still feed if you are happy/comfortable to do so!

Catbag · 03/12/2012 18:06

My daughter had thrush when she was little- if i remember rightly they gave me some drops to put in her mouth several times a day. Don't think they gave me anything...

Catbag · 03/12/2012 18:07

x post detective!

Titsalinabumsquash · 03/12/2012 18:07

Yes still happy to feed, I feel blood awful that I didn't work it out sooner, I thought the white in his mouth was sicky milk. Today however both my nipples are covered in tiny blisters and the pain is a burning/itching from nipple up to armpit. terrible mummy emotion

Passmethecrisps · 03/12/2012 18:09

Yup - DH is off to collect the drops right now. As I'm not feeding I don't think I need treatment. There is no sign of it on me. We might need to switch to cold water sterilising for a wee while as HV reckons steam sterilising doesn't get rid of the spores.

Catbag · 03/12/2012 18:10

x post detective!
