Bella depending on when you go back to work you might find you're only doing morning and evening breastfeeds anyway. There's no reason why you couldn't if you wanted to anyway. I'm not sure how long I'll go for tbh I'd be really pleased to get to four months but would ideally get to six

FOD I've had quite a lot this time round and 4 hours after giving birth I passed a fist sized one which totally freaked me out but mw had a look and wasn't worried. I know they say if it's bigger than a 50p then you should tell the mw.

MW said to me if they were bigger than a 50 pence piece to put them to one side for her??!

Hello, I had a couple of small clots but my bleeding wasn't actually that bad - it all seemed to come out really quickly at the start and was then like a normal period that's almost over now.

Re breastfeeding - I expect I'll have to move onto a more formal mixed feeding programme to get Z's weight to stop dropping. If that happens, I'll be delighted if I can keep up the breastfeeding to six months. but i'd imagine it's probably easier when you're not exclusively breastfeeding. Once I go back to work is where it'll get challenging.

Bella yes you could ff. if they're over six months they could just have a beaker rather than bottle and over a year have cows milk.

Ds has just woken after nearly five hours wish I'd gone to bed earlier now....

Shit shit night. Ds screamed for about an hour, half hour after I'd fallen asleep. Then I woke with him on my chest! not safe co-sleeping I might add. Then he fed some more and I woke again with him on me. So I sorted the bed out for him to sleep with us safely tonight and now we're feeding again. Feeling much better than I did 2 hrs ago tbh but I'm knackered today. Must have done way too much walking and shocked my body tbh!

Hi ladies so glad to finally join you all still feeling a bit shell shocked but sat up feeding so thought id drop in. Oliver is so quiet its very strange in sure it wont last though. Feeding nit going quite so smoothly he has been sleepy so not much interest in latching on have topped up with formula in syringe to keep sugars up and have kept offering the breast he has just latched for first time in about 12 hours and itts a baf latch despite having 3 good breast feeds within first 12 hours of being born. I just dont get it...

Another shitty night here too...been feeding every 30-40 mins since 1.30 and just so tired too...

Ellie can you get to a breast feeding group, I found then really helpful and they gave done great pointers.

Just trying to get to the end of the ten day growth spurt here. Ds3 fed on and off all afternoon and evening yesterday and 2 hourly through the night. He has settled in his basket after each night feed, so not all bad news.

Morning all! Hi Ellie! I think they sometimes forget they know how to latch properly! DD was the same - at the very start she latched straight away & then lost the knack a bit! She's mostly fine now.

I'm not too bad, thanks Kate. Boob still sore & red but not as sore as yesterday. Still going to get an appointment with the doctor though, would rather have the antibiotics & not use them than be without & the surgery be closed!

Sorry for everyone having shit nights I feel bad for saying this now but I'm still in shock. Ds fed 8:30, 1:30 and is feeding now as dp's alarm woke us all up at six I know it won't happen again but it was quite nice.
