Wow kitty, sounds like he's putting weight on well. Well done to both of you Smile

If co-sleeping works for now, it doesn't mean you have to have him in your bed forever. I think I co-slept the longest with ds3 (16ish weeks) and the transition to cot was painless.

Would you like to stop the night feeds Frakk? maybe having a chat to dh about being a team might help? Dh and I have always approached being a family like being our own little team. We make the decisions together and pull together when needed. For us, it makes us a stronger unit and everyone is involved. But I also appreciate it's different for you as your dh is often away with work so you are probably chief decision maker a lot of the time.

You'll have to let us know about how your mothers meeting goes, sounds intriguing Grin

I bought what I hope will be our finall buggy yesterday. We have a fab secondhand shop in town and I bought a Mountain Buggy from them. The first 4x4 we bought with ds1 (Quinny Speedi) is knackered and the Maclaren is great in town, but rubbish for the school run (it needs 2 hands to push it). So I treated myself to a Mountain Buggy - the pram we really should have bought first time round Hmm

Forgot to ask kitty , do you watch It Takes Two? If so, what does Zoe Ball have on her cheeks? They are all dewy and shiny without a discernible colour. Is it like High Beam that Benefit make?

And if you don't watch it, why not? Grin

Did people watch Strictly last night? I LOVED Kristina's dress and Erin's trouser suit. Exquisite.

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 21/10/2012 09:58

What was up with Sid do you think? It seemed that it was more than being unhappy with his routine - which was shite.

I'm sure I've got a sample of High Beam, I'll have to dig it out and have a play.

I think if Michael is in the dance off, he'll go.

Kittycatcat · 21/10/2012 09:59

ilike I dont but might start Smile. I used to have a creme blusher that did that but as I haven't seen her I don't know...Unless its touché éclat? (sp).

Lisa is fab. Loved Erin's outfit. Missed everyone up til Richard Angry.

Louis is great. He can mooooove.

Got all my girlies round today with S and A. Dh making himself scarce. 6 adults inc me and 5 children. 2 of which are babies!! Wish me luck. We're havin fish finger sarns. Lol.

GlaikitFizZombie · 21/10/2012 10:12

Well Sid look a bit of a twat! He ain't no Tom cruise!

Starshaped · 21/10/2012 12:36

I've got a brilliant Nars cream blusher that gives my cheeks a natural blush and sparkle. Could be something like that or it could be Benefit Moonbeam rather than Highbeam. Moonbeam does the same sort of thing but it's more natural. I much prefer it!

Is it just me that loves Kimberley on Strictly. I think she's gorgeous and seems so nice. Don't get me started on Denise and the vile vile vile James Jordan though - eurgh!

Enjoy your mother's meeting kitty. You can't beat a fishfinger butty Wink

Kittycatcat · 21/10/2012 23:44

Michael was worse than Jerry no? He's got no enthusiasm at all.

GlaikitFizZombie · 21/10/2012 23:45

Neither did jerry! She looked bored most of the time!! Michael will go next week? Either him or trout face from daybreak!

Starshaped · 22/10/2012 02:16

I like Michael - I think enthusiasm is the one thing he has got going for him. It's
timing and rhythm he's lacking!

Up with a poorly baby. Yawn...

Kittycatcat · 22/10/2012 06:58

Tired.5 feeds since 1130 and awake 430-6.

Kittycatcat · 22/10/2012 11:13

only possibly infected on the right side (but not open-phew) been swabbed (ouch), have to call wed pm for results. If needed there will be an anti b prescription at the docs for me. Rest of it is fungal infection-red rash. Been given a stronger cream to apply twice a day.

fraktion · 22/10/2012 12:05

Good (ish) news kitty fingers crossed the new cream sorts it. Sounds like an awful night :( hopefully S will let you take it easy today and tonight will be better!

M is poorly too star I blame the ABs for the horrendous nappies we've been having Envy

GlaikitFizZombie · 22/10/2012 12:18

Bs nappies are horrific just now, but no apparent reason! And they are always first thing

A suggestion that might be a bit out there Kitty, but how about trying some bm on your scar? Might be stupid idea.

Kittycatcat · 22/10/2012 13:19

Alex's tongue tie is no more Grin. In, snipped and out in 3 mins. Had to stay back for ten mins to be sure he was ok and that was that.

UnderwaterBasketWeaving · 22/10/2012 18:32

Good news on the tongue tie! Hope they've sorted your scar stuff now too.

I think I've got a virus-ridden toddler here. He's had plenty of colds, and is usually absolutely fine.

This one has knocked him for 6. He's all quiet and cuddly. He's eaten well at the childminder's but only wanted juice at home.

He's just asked to go to bed.

It's really unusual for him.

On the plus side: DH came home with a tumble dryer so we're set for quick bed changes, should that need arise.

JKSLtd · 22/10/2012 20:30

Well done on the TT snipping, wish we'd had that done for DS1 years ago.
Hope the scar calms down now.

Frak - any update?

MrsWajs · 23/10/2012 00:21

High beam is the shizz ILTMI you can also get sun beam & moon beam too, I'm totally not a benefit addict by the way.....ahem! Blush

Kittycatcat · 23/10/2012 04:04

How's it going ubw?

A just went from 1210-4 between feeds. Heaven. I can't remember the last time I had three hours sleep!

UnderwaterBasketWeaving · 23/10/2012 06:03

Morning Kitty (although I hope you're asleep again!) I remember that holy grail of more-than-2-hours.

F woke up about 9ish, demanded several varieties of drink, a story and then.ran off to bounce on our bed! He woke again at 1:30 but felt hotter again. He wanted "milk", "side" (other side), then "bed", and has just woken now.

He's quite hot. Full of snot. He should probably stay home today.

Kittycatcat · 23/10/2012 07:07

Awh poor F.

Well A went another two hours but didn't want feeding. Gave him a cuddle and put him back to bed and he slept til 7. Whoop.

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 23/10/2012 07:58

Well done A. I've always found that lo's pull a good night out of the bag just when you need it.

Hello mrsW, spookily I was thinking about you yesterday and that we hadn't seen you for awhile. I love Benefit too. I don't wear much make up, but nearly everything I have is Benefit.

Poor F, I hope he feels better soon. I has woken up all snotty today too.

I will be attempting Nigella's chocolate cake made with olive oil today. I am intrigued so I thought I would give it a whirl.

Starshaped · 23/10/2012 09:21

Well done A! Now, can you send him round here please to have a talk with DD - we've had another terrible night. I wish this bug would bugger off and give me my sleeping baby back. Promise I won't even moan about her early rising again...

Sympathy to all the other poorly toddlers and mums.

Ps: can you send some of the chocolate cake round here when you're done ILTMI. It sounds yum!

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 23/10/2012 12:49

I have obviously been called by the mention of chocolate cake! Yumyumyum :)

Fizz that is a brainwave re. scar and BM. I bet it helps Grin

Sympathies to all those with crap nights atm. T is generally much better these days although we had a horror on Saturday, he woke about 5 times Confused

I wear Benetint, and also their new mascara 'They're Real'. It is fab, doesn't smudge and comes off without industrial paint stripper.

We have got a few days away Saturday-Tuesday, we're heading down to Cornwall. Married 5 years on Saturday :) Hotel is lovely, we have babysitters, spa treatments and dinner for just DH and I booked and waiting for us

Kittycatcat · 23/10/2012 13:07

That sounds lovely ali. Happy anniversary in advance.
