HLC Haha! At least was strap-on boobs!

Mopsy I think MiniM is just sleeping off last of virus which is a good thing. Smile

Oi Totally agree with that list.

Grin

Figgy I found my dress when I was 7mths pregnant and Sky will be 8mths old same day as FiggyBoy so yeah almost a year ago.

Re holiday - our holiday is our honeymoon to Caribbean - child free - which I haven't had since I've had children so am really looking forward to it.

Thanks BJR.

Oi Thanks about the bubbly too.

Picked up my dress this morning and is hanging at mums. I've had my nails done so that's it now. Exciting stuff! Grin

Hi just got Hope weighed and she is 6.90 kg at 37 weeks so 15lb 3oz at nearly 9 months old. She is short and chubby just like me Grin

She can stand has two teeth and started saying dadada.

anairofhopeFORGOLD · 16/08/2012 16:08

Waves pompoms for DSM Grin

HoneyLovesCake · 16/08/2012 16:55

Rocco wants to stand without holding on to things, he keeps pulling up & pushing himself away from furniture & then falling & crying Sad Over & over & over again! Why can't he just enjoy crawling? The only reason he crawls is to get to something to pull up on. Tis exhausting to watch, I've been comforting him all day. He'll be black & blue all over by the end of the week at this rate!

CherryBlossom27 · 16/08/2012 18:20

Evening all!

Had a good day today despite teething!

HLC I know what you mean about tattoos on LO's - they are sooo lucky to have such soft yummy skin! I don't have any tattooes always wanted something but I'm far too scared of it hurting. Heavily tattooed work mate thinks I'm hilarious and said if I can give birth a tattoo will be nothing...I'm not convinced! I turn green having a blood test!

DSM wow, not long now! My only tip for the wedding day is try and sneak 10 minutes alone with your DH to savour the moment!

Right, off to cook now...wish me luck...DS is so far smiling and playing!

Cherry My opinion, being I have 2 tattoos and they don't hurt, but again my opinion.

Well this is the last night i'll spend in our home as a Miss. Have been treated to a chinese takeaway :)

GeeandTee · 16/08/2012 19:46

DSM that is so exciting! And am jealous of a child-free holiday, don't think we will get that, or even a night away, for YEARS.

Really hope that all the last-minute preparations go well and you avoid any rain on the big day. Can't wait to see photos! I expect we will all be thinking of you on Saturday.

Have some Thanks :)

mopsytop · 16/08/2012 19:54

Too exciting DSM! Savour every minute!

DeterminedandSpecialMum · 16/08/2012 19:55

Gee Thanks. Saturday is supposed to be the hottest day of the year down on the south coast Smile

Figgygal · 16/08/2012 21:44

Im loving a lazy baby he never tries to get up happy flailing around on his bum, am sure itll come though Confused

DSM when do you go on honeymoon? Straight away?

DeterminedandSpecialMum · 16/08/2012 22:35

Figgy We go on honeymoon Sept 7th. I wanted to be home for Darcie's first day at Juniors and Sky's first full day at nursery. Smile

seven77 · 16/08/2012 23:23

Yay dsm! There will be much spangly pompom waving on Saturday!

cherry I agree with DSM, they don't really hurt. The noise of the drill is pretty horrible though, not recommended for anyone with a fear of the dentist!

honey Eva has been pulling up loads the last couple of days. Thankfully she always lands on her bum though so there's been no tears.

Our excuse for going to the Paralympics is that we never have holidays. We can't afford holiday cottages or hotels, and sleeping on a hard floor and emptying a bucket of poo camping is not my idea of a relaxing holiday.

Throat still hurts, getting fed up now.

Figgygal · 17/08/2012 07:59

Another 6.15 wake up for him but 5.15 for me......bloody bladder!!

Well it's peeing down again might be going out for lunch with workmate or might take self off shopping and spend money I don't have.

Enjoy your last day as Miss DSM

Kitty5824 · 17/08/2012 10:00

I feel we have reached a milestone. Last night I administered a full 5ml dose of calpol. As he slept for 4 straight hours after I think we might be doing this again tonight Blush

DSM will you be watching the clock all day thinking "this time tomorrow...." Grin

(hope the link works and any aswers/advice greatfully recieved!)

anairofhopeFORGOLD · 17/08/2012 12:42

So i have got a wrap and the popin liner and a allinone nappy as well.

Im a little bit confused but hope i got the right things. I shall report back after they arrive and are tested :)

BeeMyBaby · 17/08/2012 13:52

ended up getting dd2 a pintoy baby walker for Eid, and even though Eid's not til Sunday we just gave it her to play with and she started to walk with it and it was very cute (I was also filming it on my phone) until... she went into the wall, mashed her little face and ended up with a bleeding mouth so DH was much annoyed with me and my yet again complete fail at safe parenting. I also now have a video of her screaming in pain.

very excited for you DSM!

DeterminedandSpecialMum · 17/08/2012 14:07

Well everything is at the hotel. Except for my dress, bridesmaid dresses and just stuff for me and girls. It is all so real now. Had a sneaky peek at the suite this morning as another ceremony was happening later on and its going to look fab Grin quite nervous tho!

anairofhopeFORGOLD · 17/08/2012 14:49

Wine you will be fine DSM Grin

aethelfleda · 17/08/2012 15:27

Ok, you need the "motherease airflow wrap", the "pop in absorbant staydry booster" which it sounds like younhave and a "motherease onesize nappy with staydry lining". The motherease all-in-one is a different type that combines a waterproof outer with the absorbant bit: it's a different nappy and is pull-on no popper type, wouldnt go overnight.

As our link didn't work, Pm me your email address and I'll email you mine, then you can send me a copy of your order email to check. If you have ordered an all-in-one by accident then ring them
Up and see if they can swap it before they post it out to you.

aethelfleda · 17/08/2012 15:28

seven77 · 17/08/2012 18:22
