sassy34264 · 16/06/2012 09:24

sorry last post!

just wanted to say it sounds rude reading it back- bugger all idea who the newbies are.

dont mean it to be. i think cw is pink and cj (cant remember the last initial) is strawberry. i know one of you has ws, cos i said it was my grandads name. i dont know ipswich or lookout? sorry and i had someone comment on my fb pic with the intial cg, i think the baby is l? but i couldnt find you on the doc or the stats and thought id look rude saying who are you? Blush

im sooooo slow and thick and all mightyly confused about it all! Blush sorry.

BB3 · 16/06/2012 09:27

Fuzz, Ayse used to do something like that, (from the description), I'd keep an eye on down below for any change in smell / discharge or soreness but does sound like she's just worked out a new move!

Book 2 is my favourite by far.

Pebble, glad he managed some sleep and bottle - hope you both feel better soon.

BB3 · 16/06/2012 09:28

Engel, I'm jealous of your peace and quiet. Dh is home tomorrow and my fathers day present to him will be an hour babysitting the kids so I can relax a bit x

lookout · 16/06/2012 09:51

sassy cg is me and Eliot is my ds2. I didn't even know there was a doc on fb and I have no idea whatsoever who you all are on the fb page so i do get confused too.

I don't cook like that all the time (ds1 had chicken kiev and chips and peas last night for example Grin), and it seems there's little point in cooking like that again Angry. Dh will not be cooking for me, his repertoire is miniscule!

Whoever it was with the self-cleaning oven, usually you just heat the oven to over 200 degrees C for at least 20 minutes then wipe all the black sooty stuff from the bottom of the oven when it's cooled. That's how mine works anyway.

I'm so sorry to be rubbsih with remembering names, but the baby who floor humps Grin, E does that too, and so did ds1 and I too think they do it just because they can!

I got a lie in this morning!! E woke for a feed at 5.30 and I managed to put him back down asleep til 7 whoop whoop! Then ds buggered it all up by arguing with me all through breaksfast and dh finished it all off when I woke him at 8.45 hoping to have a long shower and wash my hair (not done for 4 days, ok so I'm a slattern too Blush) and then annoucing he was going for a run Angry. I'm not usually so angry with him, I don't know what my problem is atm!

Today is 4 years since my littlest brother's funeral and I am feeling wobbly. I want people to be nice to me today Sad

sassy34264 · 16/06/2012 10:56

awh lookout im so sorry. does dh know/remember? if not, tell him.

thanks for the clarification.

who has l then? there is a photo saying this is l and his daddy?

my dp goes wrestling every sat morning. he's just back and now i have to wait for him to shower! its midday before we can go anywhere. umph. food shopping today, im down to the last 2 nappies- NO ONE POO! pleeaaasssee.

strawberrypenguin · 16/06/2012 11:50

lookout sending you so sorry about your brother.

sassy not rude at all I still have to check the fb dic all the time! You got me right cjw with William (does the double w help?) although we usually call William Billy at home so I've used that a few times on fb too.

Grey what am I supposed to call you now! Is grey ok or would you prefer something else?

Sorry to all you twilight/shades lovers but I could make it through the first twilight spent the whole time declaring Edward creepy, bella wet, grumping that vampires don't sparkle and Buffy was much better! Think I'll give shades a miss Grin

ipswichwitch · 16/06/2012 13:19

i'm very easily confused so no help at all with the fb thing. i am JB and DS is Nathan though if thats any help!
fuzzy, N does a pelvic thrust thing when he's on his back and when i hold him in a standing position with his feet on the ground. its quite comical and we've started calling him baby elvis!
i'm really sorry about your brother lookout , may explain why you are angry at your DH? hopefully when he gets back from his run you can leave him with DC and enjoy a good long shower/bath in peace.
well the first week at work is over, it was fairly grim but at least N enjoys his nursery. he tried pinching a sophie the giraffe off a little girl there, as he has one and obviously thought it was his!!
hope youre all feeling better today pebble

lookout · 16/06/2012 16:09

ips you're not even on the fb list, or are you? Get yourself on there and stop confusing He's useless at being sympathetic.

Had a massive meltdown and screamed at all three of them, slammed doors and drove off in a huff. Had to come back 5 minutes later though to take ds1 to gymnastics so didn't quite have the effect I wanted. I am now on strike until they tell me how much they appreciate me Grin

In his defence dh has looked after both of them since my tantrum.

Pebble how are you btoh today?

Oh and about the ebf thing, I just meant those who aren't giving any bottles, just boob still.

Also my ebay Maclaren arrived today and it is great. However, it is filthy! Nothing a good scrub won't sort out but when you sell something on ebay, do younot at least remove crumbs and give it a wipe down before you send it??? The handles are sticky for goodness sake Shock

lookout · 16/06/2012 16:11

Pants, my message went all funny.

ips stop confusing me Grin Also did you say upthread that N is eating better? If so: hooray, if not: sorry for being confused. Again.
And then, dh does know about today but has never been able to deal with my grief. He's uselss at being sympathetic.

Engelsmeisje · 16/06/2012 19:35

sorry to hear about your brother lookout

Jnice · 16/06/2012 19:42

lookout ((hugs))

lookout · 16/06/2012 19:53

Thank you all.

For some reason today has been harder than the date of his death. Looking forward to a bth and sleep. Tomorrow is a new day and all that.

Have posted photos of him in fb, hope noone minds, I know it's technically for the bundles, so I hope noone is offended.

CheshireDing · 16/06/2012 20:00

I think the fb name doc is nearly up to date now as it looks like people have been in and added their names. This might have Sassy a bit now Grin

Hope tonight is better for you Pebble

BB3 · 16/06/2012 21:41

Lookout, lovely pics of your little brother. We take any bundles babies or brothers are all welcome.

Adding to the confessions if last night, was playing with Edie swinging her in the air and managed to conk her head on the wall! BAD MOTHER! she screamed but seems fine. Blush

Ds however has decided to throw up (all over me and my bed!) Confused

Scheherezade · 16/06/2012 22:04

Massive (((((hugs))))) to lookout. Love the fb photos.

C has finally started commando crawling, as opposed to just rolling everywhere.

TallyBear · 16/06/2012 23:09

Lookout so sorry to hear and I hope you got through the day OK.

To all those confused by mn names/fb names/lo names can I please be added to the list! The number of times I've had to look at the real name doc on fb I should know it by heart now (perhaps we should add lo names too)... Any newbies () forget it. I can't even remember who said what when I post from when I read through a few mins ago (I've got into the habit of reading the posts but not the poster and then have to read back again so it makes sense!)

As for confessions -loving these by the way, makes me feel so much better, thanks for starting [sassy?]:

  • No daily baths here, Seb usually gets a bath every other day, unless something comes up or he's tired. We don't top and tail in between, unless he has dinner (usually broccoli) in his chin folds!
  • I wipe baby sick of my and his clothes but do not change unless its a flood (dh just told me a few mins ago that I smell of baby sick!).
  • I noticed this morning there was a bit of sick on Seb's cot sheet. Not sure how long it's been there. It's still there.
  • When Seb was little he was sick a lot when lying down so when he was lying in his basket/cot/pram we'd always put a muslin under his head so we could just change that and not the whole sheet.
  • I've put his sleepsuits back on with a bit of pee on, as long as its on the nappy area and not against his skin.
  • I cut his finger the first time I cut his nails. He screamed, I cried.
  • I've banged his head quite a few times. Some times he notices, sometimes not!
  • TV on most of the day and now Seb is starting squirm round to watch.
  • We've got two long-haired cats - cat hair everywhere..bath, plates, clothes... I figure the sooner he is immune the better!
  • Seb is almost 8 months and we've still not changed the spare room into his nursery. Bought some tester pots last week Grin
Is that enough for now?

Oh, ovens? Moved in June 2007, got oven professionally cleaned July 2011! Well worth the £45! Flash wipe kitchen floor occasionally. Mop is going mouldy in garage!

My MiL would be appalled. Even with 5 kids she would hoover the house every morning before work!

ipswichwitch · 16/06/2012 23:14

Lovely photos lookout, hoping tomorrow is a better day for you, N is getting a bit better at solids, esp at nursery, so we're getting there but it's slow progress, and some days he's better than others. How are you getting on with it?

I'll add myself to fb list as soon as I can get on the laptop, for some reason stupid iPhone won't let me.

Am now in bed with a poorly DS. He's not been happy today, bowels, teeth and now a stinking cold all bothering him. Spent ages settling him, then he got woke up by a fire engine blaring it's horn right outside his bedroom window. Gah!!!! Couldn't even see a bloody fire anywhere! He was sobbing his heart out and blowing snot bubbles so he's cuddled into me in our bed and DP is relegated to the spare room as he's had a couple of cans of lager. He sleeps like the dead when he's had some beer, but least he's giving me a lie in tomorrow :)
Hope the non-sleepers have a better night

MyManIsNowChristianGrey · 16/06/2012 23:29

lookout sorry to hear about your brother hope your ok ((hugs))

Hmm I think I might change my NN back! When I posted last night she hadn't yet got to grey's apartment and he seemed like a nice guy! Ive now "seen" the red room of pain and am thinking he's a sadistic controlling abusive prick!! I'm now clinging to the hope that the point of the story is that he will fall in love with her and as a result e won't need the sadism (I'm clearly a romantic at heart) and I definitely thought the first few chapters were exactly like twilight just with different names!
Are they making this one into a movie too? Might be a bit risqué for mainstream cinema?

DH managed to get up and down Ben Nevis today in 8 hours in miserrable weather am v proud of him wouldn't have been me

PenguinArmy · 16/06/2012 23:48

Ben nevis, if done the tourist way, is an absolutely horribly depressie mountain to do, so well done him. It was bad enough just coming down that way when I did it.

LittlePebble · 17/06/2012 01:23

Thanks all, pretty grim in Pebble household but think Eli might have turned a corner - although he's woken up since he went to sleep, each time I have been able to settle him back down, unlike last two nights. Have just calpolled and he's asleep in my arms.

I'm feeling shocking though so sympathise with him poor little mite. Have cancelled our hotel trip away, thankfully they were happy to move it.

Lookout so sorry about your DBro Sad lovely photos on fb you must miss him so much.

ipswitch sorry you've got lurgy in your house too, hope you have a good nights sleep. DP was relegated to spare room last night too so I could cuddle Eli in bed and starfish it was great.

I also get really confused with who's who on fb, maybe we should sign our comments with our mn names?

LittlePebble · 17/06/2012 01:25

Christian or Ed (whichever you prefer) Wink you must be reading about same place as I am. I'm having the same thoughts as you...

Well done DH on Ben Nevis. Penguin have you climbed it?

LittlePebble · 17/06/2012 01:26

Sorry so tired just read your post properly and seen that you have Blush

Penelope1980 · 17/06/2012 03:47

Sassy apologies for being a confusing P! Grin I actually only talk about Amotai by his initial because it's an unusual name and don't want to be easily searchable. Although I've now started using a second name for anything personal I guess it doesn't matter so much any more. FWIW Amotai is Maori for a carving that guides the waves. I am actually thinking of a name change, maybe something closer to my initials, that's not a nn that's a name that's not even mine!

littlepebble am intrigued as to why your name would give you away in RL.

i am pretty good at knowing who's who with those who have been around for a while, but some people I still get confused by.

I would love to climb Ben Nevis - have climbed Scarfell Pike and Snowdon, and have always wanted to collect the set of highest peaks in the UK.

Penelope1980 · 17/06/2012 03:51

I am now on the list to read 50 Shades from the library, and am interest in if I'd like it or not. I liked the first Twilight but hated the next two (at which point I gave up). I couldn't help but think that Bella and Edward had an unhealthy abusive relationship, the way they need to possess each other and be everything to one another, not to mention the fact Edward watches Bella sleep. I would find that soooo creepy.
