Ah lookout I'd have throttled him (but I'm glad he's apologised!) mr lookout, you have almost redeemed yourself, off to the shop for a nice chocolate desert and I'm sure all can be forgiven!

Ds loves our neighbours dog and I've seen him luck a chew you after the dig did it and he's licked his own poo whilst on his hand once - I've never in my life wanted to throw up more!

I've spent the evening unpacking and cleaning our pit bedroom. Tomorrow I'm going to clean the house (the shame has motivated me too!) and have a sort out as I just went to put the suitcase on the bed in the spare room to 'sort out' tomorrow and realised I've dumped so much stuff in there over the past few weeks you can now barely open the door!!! Blush dh's best friend is stating with us from Sunday and right now it looks like he might be in ds' room if I can't clear it!!!

Sassy GrinGrin.

FuzzzyDuckosaurus · 15/06/2012 21:59

pp that's interesting. S had 30 min naps in the day and it drives me mad, but as you said, of she goes over the 30 mins, it turns into 1hr 30! Does it say how to extend the 30 mins?
trud hello!! Yes the document is still on fb group somewhere!!

strawberrypenguin · 15/06/2012 22:20

lookout dinner sounds great, tell DH he can cook tomorrow!

Yes to cat fur it gets everywhere and I had to take one of the cats toys away from W today, got it just before it made it to his mouth.

DD did 30 min naps and was fine afterwards, DS often wakes at 30 mins but needs to be put down again (or held by me until DD wakes as is what normally happens). He sometimes can sleep through it though.

Similar for his morning nap, but if he wakes at 30 mins then I just have a grumpy baby until lunch and he can't get off with his sister awake as well.

DS kept putting his arms out for the jumperoo today but cried when i put him in it, then i realised he wanted to stand and hold onto it to play with the toys. Took him out in the trike today, he seemed to like that.

FuzzzyDuckosaurus · 15/06/2012 22:40

Generally she is fine with 2 x 30 min naps a day, but if she does sleep longer, I find she sleeps even longer/better at night

MyManIsNowChristianGrey · 15/06/2012 23:17

Grin @ sassy

I love all the confessions, I got most of the house done yesterday for a change so aim to Hoover upstairs, clean oven and tidy my own bedroom this weekend Grin
DH is climbing Ben Nevis fr UNICEF tomorrow so it's the least I can do.

MyManIsNowChristianGrey · 15/06/2012 23:18

I just spent over an hour in a hot bath with fifty shades of grey! Was bliss Hence the new NN

Penelope1980 · 15/06/2012 23:57

I found a cat whisker on the floor last month and don't even have a cat. Weird.

LittlePebble · 16/06/2012 02:23

Help I've no idea what to do with E. he won't sleep but he's so exhausted he drops off then wakes up a few minutes later screaming. He's got a really sore throat and is dribbling a lot, is off food and his milk Sad not sure what to do I only have calpol and that doesn't seem to touch it.

Jnice · 16/06/2012 03:24

Will E take some cool water or diluted juice? Other than that I don't know Sad

Hopefully by now you are both fast asleep.

Jnice · 16/06/2012 03:25

I need to change my name too... Mine is too close to real name. Having a think.

Penelope1980 · 16/06/2012 06:13

Did E sleep in the end?

Picking a nn is hard. I just went with the name I used to wish was my name when I was 8! (Random I know ... )

CheshireDing · 16/06/2012 06:13

Pebble (for the future) have you tried the Nelsons Teething Powders, I know they are for teeth but because it's only Camomile it might soothe his throat too, I think Camomile has antiseptic properties.

Pene that's what I thought too that it's maybe a nap and she is waking scared on her own, Pink does it say how to get them to stay in a deeper sleep then Grin

Welcome back Trudyla hope things improve now.

Can't remember who asked but P i still being bf and blw. Is that classed as ebf? Hmm

If the "newbies" want to pm me their real names I will update the fb docu as need to find my Wonder Week docu in there anyway.

BB3 · 16/06/2012 07:05

Pebble, sorry e is having a tough time? Did you get any sleep in the end?

Mnimg(akaEd), I've read all three books four or five times now and I love them! Can't wait for the film (hurry up and make it). My author friends are all 'it's so badly written blah blah blah' but I think there's a but of bitterness in it. you fall in love with the characters completely. You know it originally started out as a twilight blog so no wonder I love it! How my favourite little entertainer doing?

The girls have 20 minute naps in the morning and an hour or two in the afternoon although I'm having a nightmare with Ayse, after a month of holidays and family visits she will not be put down to sleep at night. I gave up at midnight last night and put her in my bed as she can be snoring and the second you put her down she wakes up screaming which then wakes Edie up! Grrr

Engelsmeisje · 16/06/2012 07:42

lookout you're welcome to cook at ours anytime Grin

cat's bowl fuzzzy ? Yuck! I could never have a cat, even though I lvoe them. DH is allerigic and the smell of cat food has always made me retch

He is lucky to have you sassy !

Engelsmeisje · 16/06/2012 07:45

missed the last page when I posted!

pebble , did you manage to get any sleep?.

DH and M are still asleep upstairs so am enjoying some peace and quiet

FuzzzyDuckosaurus · 16/06/2012 07:48

Quick question, ive noticed a few times now when S is laying on her tummy that she will start to 'thrust' her hips Hmm. I have no idea why she would do it other than maybe she has an itch? Anyone...?

Engelsmeisje · 16/06/2012 07:50

I agree with you and your writer friends bb3.

I thought they were badly written (she uses the same phrases and adjectives over and over again and sometimes the main character sounded so pathetic I wanted to shout at her to STFU), but at the same time addictive! I had to steel myself to keep going with the first one until it got interesting and I thought the end of the 3rd one was really lame.....but none of that stopped me reading all 3. Grin

LittlePebble · 16/06/2012 07:51

Thanks guys, did manage to get a few hours sleep he was so exhausted he passed out on my shoulder mid scream Sad I slept cuddling him but he woke every half hour or so crying. He's got such a hoarse voice, and I've got a cracking sore throat so am starting to know how he's feeling.

Cheshire yes have been giving him teetha more to calm him as he's been so agitated, but good to know its an antiseptic too.

Jnice think I'll give him his water mug all day so he can sip it and soothe his throat. Managed to get him to dream feed about four ounces at half three so at least he's had something.

We're meant to all be going to a posh hotel tomorrow night for dinner bed and breakfast (Christmas present) but don't know if we will be able to now.

christian I am half way through first book and am just getting to know Christian Grey Grin

BB3 I have been reading it thinking it was like Twilight so that explains a lot!

I have been pondering nc as mine gives me away too much to anyone who knows me (wasn't very imaginative when I signed up) any suggestions welcome Grin

Engelsmeisje · 16/06/2012 07:51

do you mean thrust forwards or backwards fuzzzy ?

M goes crazy bobbing up and down when he thinks I'm going to pick him up, or when he's trying to do a push-up.

FuzzzyDuckosaurus · 16/06/2012 07:56

She lays down flat on her tummy and thrusts, just her hips forward. Does make her butt bob up and down. She's doing it loads now. Wonder if she has an infection and it's itchy

FuzzzyDuckosaurus · 16/06/2012 07:58

Shes layin almost in fetal position then you just see her hips/butt going Confused

Engelsmeisje · 16/06/2012 08:01

maybe she's trying to get moving/get up?

DH isgetting M up and can hear giggles coming through the baby phone Smile

this is a very rare occurence (DH getting M up and dressed) so really making me smile

sassy34264 · 16/06/2012 08:47

nooooo! dont all name change. it takes me forever to catch on. Grin

im still not 100% sure who everyone is from their real names. i look at the doc on fb all the time, but it still doesnt sink in. i have bugger all idea who the newbies are and im still confused alot occasionally over the 3 p's. penguin pene pebble

and dont even get me started on all the baby names Confused

you all use intials, so im more Confused than i would normally be!.

is this just me?

sassy34264 · 16/06/2012 09:00

fuzzy eva does that too. i dont think it means anything, other than she is testing out her moving ability/range etc.

eva gets up into a runners starting position and does a plank too. i think they are just learning that they are not independent of their bodies and they are going 'ohh i can move that as well'. type of thing. iyswim?

eva woke from a nap yesterday at 5.30pm and didnt wouldnt sleep till 12.30am!. i know why though. 'i may have let her try some curried rice..

she was burping and trumping and wriggling all night..

oops.
