Oooh I didn't think this was still going Blush

I should really try and pop in more often instead of just on FB.

TeaandHobnobs · 31/10/2012 22:54

Hi fireflies! Glad all is well with you and DS. We have a similar situation here - DS is a total charmer when he's not in pain from teething, although we have sod all to show for more than two months of complaining. It has been ramping up the last couple of days, so I hope this might mean something is about to come through. I've bought some nuerofen syrup on the recommendation of ffnorm and warlin, so if DS goes berserk in the night again, I will give it a try.

Hello McKayz and Tea. I might add Neurofen to the medicine cabinet. Been using calpol up to now, but added Ibuprofen (baby version) to the list along with teething gel. And Sophie the Giraffe...and my fingers to the list!! Oooh, two months of complaining and no teeth?! Frustrating!! I am going to be disappointed if another tooth doesn't appear soon, but as it looks like being a top one am a bit apprehensive.

Well, baby FF asleep on his own for a change, so I've had a chance to chill out this evening. Need to go and read up on passports though as went to Vic today and had app rejected. Grrrr. Have to travel soon too.

Hi to all. FF xx

emblosion · 01/11/2012 22:34

Hello from me too! Ages since I've been on here. Ds is teething but no actual teeth in sight. He's also discovered an extra piercing high pitched squeal gets immediate reaction from mummy Hmm

Hope everything ok with everyone x

blondiedollface · 04/11/2012 19:49

Teeth are actually stressing me out... We've got all front four under the gums and visible, but only one has properly actually cut through and that was over 2 hours of screaming she hardly had any milk, refused much food only had the most minuscule bit of carrot... :( Poor LO's

Hi to everyone I think I'm going to be on here more now that evenings are darker and seem to be longer!

TeaandHobnobs · 05/11/2012 18:21

Poor BabyBlondie Sad DS' teething seems to have wound down a little at the moment - we haven't needed to give him any calpol for a few days, and at night he doesn't seem to be in pain like he was (still wants to feed every 3 hours though )

We finished our first term of swimming this morning - he is really getting into it! He is starting to kick a lot more.

emblosion DS also seems to have developed a sort of shrieky squeak/yell that is clearly his "noise of the month" - it is so bloody wearing. My mum also thinks he is starting to be a bit of a drama llama while I'm around - he's not half as moany when I'm not there Hmm

Tea Aren't they all like that, just because WE are mummy and mummy cares the most...

EvaGk · 10/11/2012 20:25

Kveta · 10/11/2012 20:51

blondiedollface · 10/11/2012 21:01

Hi EvaGk waves

McKayz · 10/11/2012 21:06

Hi EvaGK

EvaGk · 10/11/2012 21:10

Hello all, I have a 4.5 month boy with reflux who fights sleep. how are yours doing with bedtime routine mine starts at 7pm and finishes around 10 or 11pm. the consolation is he sleeps through most nights

blondiedollface · 10/11/2012 21:18

Sounds like many of us :) Congrats on the DS btw!! My DD is 5 months in 4 days, no idea where the time has gone... Bedtime is one of those tricky times, glad he is sleeping through for you though - it's such a relief when they do!

How are you getting on with feeding etc, are you bf/ff as a group we're a very happy mix of them all - I thought I was going to feel so pressured when I couldn't bf because of DD's tongue-tie but I had so much support from these lot (thank you all) that I have been perfectly happy ff!!

Welcome to the Jubilant June-ers Grin

EvaGk · 10/11/2012 21:19

Hi blondiedollface hi McKayz

Kveta · 10/11/2012 21:22

hiya eva, my DD is 5 months on monday and is a happy chunk, total opposite of her brother! is your DS your first? are you in the uk?

DD isn't the best for sleep, but is so much better than DS was that we feel quite blessed!

McKayz · 10/11/2012 21:23

I can't remember how old DD is Blush think she was 20 weeks on Wednesday. She'll be 5 months on the 20th

I think she misses her brothers when they're with their dad. She's in a right grump.

DairyNips · 10/11/2012 21:27

Hi EvaGK! Smile I have boys. Ds3 turned 20 weeks on Monday. He also has reflux, the silver kind and is on ranitidine for it. He's not too bad sleeping, up once or twice from when we go to bed till when we get up. He still spends the evenings snoozing on my knee or dh's or in his Moses basket (still small enough!). I am currently on a feed up mission as his weight gain has slowed a little so today I've hardly done anything apart from sit and feed... Yawn. Nice to 'meet'' you!

DairyNips · 10/11/2012 21:28

Oh, forgot to mention, I am famous for ridiculous typo's on a regular basis. I can already see I have written 'I have boys' instead of 'I have 3 boys' Grin

DairyNips · 10/11/2012 21:29

Lol, the silent kid of reflux!! Am actually chuckling away to myself here!

DairyNips · 10/11/2012 21:30

Is your ds on any medication for his reflux?

McKayz · 10/11/2012 21:31

Dairy, I love you and your typos. Except I just woke DD laughing at silver reflux

emblosion · 10/11/2012 21:35

tea ^ what Blondie said - they know mum cares the most. DS squeals sometimes and looks at me to guage my reaction, the pest.

Hi EvaGk welcome. My DS has reflux too, he is bottle fed & has carobel thickener in his milk which has helped a lot (we also tried gaviscon which didn't work for us at all) .

I find bedtimes are much harder if he's overtired so I try to get him to nap in the day by any means necessary! We usually put him down about half 7 and he takes anything up to an hour to settle. Still up in the night though, usually has a feed about midnight & lately its carried him through to about 6am. He will usually settle for another hour or so after that.

Famous last words - I'll prob be up all night tonight!

emblosion · 10/11/2012 21:38
