oi another sorry about the house had happened to myself before when we had a buyer arranged for our house and the sellers dropped out the day we were flying out on holiday for two weeks which was absolutely shit. Good for you on the positive outlook.

Seriously how much bigger are the 6 to 12 months sleep bags bought 1 today as his normal one has been dribbled and milked on for weeks decided to buy the next size up since he's a monster baby and didn't see the point of buying a nought to 6 for another few weeks and it is unbelievably long.

Lovely day today rhyme time at the library lunch with DH, lo had half a mashed banana at lunchtime and was sucking on a very well cooked carrot stick when we were at lunch. Been out for a walk in the sun and had a lovely pint in a beer garden Grin. I do think that lo is a human dustbin he always eats more than supposedly he should be, he would eat everything I give him food wise and then still drain his bottles if I let him.

Oi I totally looooove White mice too! Nom nom nom! Have you seen barratts now sell them in bags? You no longer have to find a shop selling penny sweets... Or 2 euro cent sweets as I think they must be now at home. Doesn't have quite the same ring, does it?!

BeeMyBaby · 11/05/2012 23:35

I really dislike putting jeans on too, just never seem to let them bend enough, and I'm only just putting jeans on DD1 at 2 years old. DD2 is in tights and leggings, tracksuit bottoms or dresses in the daytime and sleepsuits at night. But she's also in all of DD1s 6-12mo clothes, so there are less babygros in the bundle unlike the 0-6mo lot.

Honey DH has a little light green cardi his mother knitted for him and so we got DD1 to wear it at 6mo and took lots of pictures and plan to get DD2 to wear it at 6mo or when she can sit... Its very fragile now tho so it'll get whipped off as soon as we've completed our mini photo shoot.

I tried some BLW today (even tho DD2 is only 23 weeks) she really wanted a banana I was making into banana bread so I gave it to her and as it was very ripe she managed to get a bit off but her tongue thrust reflex kicked in so I guess I will be waiting a few more weeks.

I didn't realise the Avengers was out so may have to suggest to DH that he goes to see it and I will bake a cake and eat the evidence while he's out. My parents have been on holiday for two weeks now and DH was meant to be helping me walk the (four) dogs but he's been busy/ hurt his foot etc so I think I've finally got into the swing of it. My record poop collection is 14 bags in one walk, and yesterday it was raining all day so I didn't take them out - big mistake, poop all over the lounge room floor as they don't like to go in the back garden when its pouring so even tho it was still pouring today, I took them out plus the two DDs on my lonesome. I'm sure this is all character building stuff and by the time I die I'll have an amazing character...

plutocrap · 12/05/2012 00:10

Marking my place, though unable to post mch, as my right hand is needed (and has been for abut an hour) to prop up DD's dispensing machine (the lolling little Roman subscribes to the Slow Food Movement).

However, strong things to say about unhelpful fathers!

Just been treated to a 8-3.45 Bliss but totally random as to why he slept mote tonight. If anything hr fee worse yesterday. I should just give up trying to figure out a logic to it all shouldn't I.

scoobyd00 · 12/05/2012 05:52

10pm to 515am! In shock and groggy from sleep! Now trying to convince him he needs another hour or so.

Figgygal · 12/05/2012 06:13

He went 8-3.15 then 3.30 to 6 unfortunately I've been awake pretty much since 3.30 when he went back to bed, he just fell asleep on his Brekkie bottle so put him back to bed however I can now here the trademark poo straining over the monitor so that was very short lived. I feel like death warmed up this morning Sad

Figgygal · 12/05/2012 06:29

Poor little man strained for 15 minutes and when I took the nappy off expecting the end of the world it wAs a tiny Maltesers sized poo wonder if his banana yesterday has affected him a little.

Dh is off out birdwatching already this morning left at 5:30 to meet a group of fellow saddos for a day out in a minibus with a packed lunch ........... he's only 37!!! I have given up the help of more sleep and taken the little one in bed with me.

DeterminedandSpecialMum · 12/05/2012 06:48

Morning all.

Sky slept 8 - 3:45, 4-6:15 is on our bed and has gone back to sleep.

I feel lousy - fecking AF!

I'm having the day in bed DP can deal with the girls.

air DD1 seems to have taken your DS lead and went to sleep at 11pm and woke up at 7am, uggggh.

DD2 went to sleep at 9pm and dreamfed every couple of hours as normal. I wish I could sleep bf.

DH went to bed at 9.30 and is still not up.

AnAirOfHope · 12/05/2012 08:10

Aaron went to sleep at 9pm last night. I took him to playgroup in the morning, nursary in the afternoon 1 till 4.30pm then tigar play and got in at 8pm. It still took an hour to get him to sleep. He just has too much energy but also dh has started sleeping in our bed again so i think air is doing it for attention.

Both kids are up now and dh down stairs with them and im in bed :)

MimsyBorogroves · 12/05/2012 08:34

figgy bananas used to make DS1 constipated at first - then when he was more used to them they came out a delightfully streaky black stringy bleh. I look forward to sprog having them Wink

Also, don't know if you've realised yet but bananas also stain clothes horribly - so I recommend one of those huge bibs, or naked feeding.

KateM77 · 12/05/2012 09:40

Operation Reclaim The Boobs commences today. I don't suppose it'll go very well, but I am determined. I think it took about a week before DD took a bottle.

HoneyLovesCake · 12/05/2012 11:14

I went up at 9 with DS for his morning nap & thought I might just get 5 mins as I was shattered; phone just woke me Blush

OH calling; it's a gorgeous day so horsey friend of DPs mum is picking me up with her DS to go check on DPs mums mare who is in foal & then we're going down to boating lake to feed the ducks :) Better get a move on & make myself presentable!

MissRee · 12/05/2012 11:14

I still haven't found anything other than Pampers that can keep her poo contained! I spent the vouchers Huggies sent me yesterday on their equivalent of Active Fit as they're the only Huggies style we haven't tried.... I put one on her after an explosive poop in a wilkinsons nappy that filled the leg of her jeans with the mustard stuff. She then finished off the poo in Huggies and filled the leg of her nice clean White sleepsuit Hmm 2 baths in a day and now she has a dry face!

DSS has been "trying out" the new bath for the last hour... I dread to think of the state of the floor when I go turf him out to get dried!

Good luck with the booby reclamation Kate!

DP managed to snag a free fridge from work yesterday (his boss is pretty cool). I'm so happy as our fridge has been icing up and leaking for the last 6 months. It's v annoying walking through the kitchen and stepping in icy cold water streams across the floor and getting soaking wet socks!

Plan for this week:

Clear out, sort (and charity shop) toys in Jack's room.
Defrost freezer and chuck out the stuff that's been in there since we moved
Get rid of the washing mountain
Sort freya's too small clothes (I'm waiting for a friend to find out if she's having boy/girl this week so some or all can go to her)
Get using the Wii Fit I bought for £1.20 on eBay Grin

GeeandTee · 12/05/2012 11:16

Banana still makes DS constipated so he only has it now and again.

DH taken both DCs to Dads and Toddlers this morning so I've had a lovely lie-in with coffee and papers. Just picked DD up to take her home and feed her. Both DCs gave me massive grins when they saw me coming. Made my day :)

DeterminedandSpecialMum · 12/05/2012 11:57

G&T that is so sweet your DC had smiles for you Smile

Sky hasn't had a mashed banana yet.

I feel ruff. DP has taken Darcie to her singing lesson and taken Sky along with him so I can rest for an hr.

Figgygal · 12/05/2012 12:57

Yup we had another poo alert after his 2 hour nap this morning but again it was small and had the black banana bits. I think we will lay off the bananas for awhile they do seem to have upset him

Good news of the day I'm only 3 lbs up on pre baby weight and the dress I was planning on wearing to a wedding in June fits hooray!!!!!!
