Rashka would have been a cunning plan, but I ate as I cooked - raw minke does not a good dunk make >_

The clean is going well apart from hourly feeds (why!?!?!) have done a total of five washing loads ((!!) in the last 24 hours. Have hoovered living area, scrubbed surfaces, done bathroom. Still need to hoover the DDs room and redo kitchen surfaces but we're getting there.

GeeandTee · 18/05/2012 13:04

Our current house was awful when we bought it, woodchip everywhere, carpets utterly rank and full of dust and hair, a dead slug on the kitchen wall and best of all, an outdoor security light that flashed on when you went up the stairs! We had all walls and ceilings plastered, new floors and carpets, new staircase, new kitchen and bathroom, new boiler and electrics, painted everywhere, landscaped the garden etc. And its lovely now but just too small. I just don't want to have to go threough it all again! Especially with two children! At least we managed to make a good profit on it though.

Drinking tea while waiting for a 'script to be filled. The boredom excitement may kill me!

LMF Feel better soon...

BeeMyBaby · 18/05/2012 14:02

northern I've now listened to the ed sheeran song a few times on youtube after your post and its lovely if you block out the last line not so keen on super sad songs about babies and pregnancies.

hawthers · 18/05/2012 14:04

Could have repeated my post ranting about DH at 4 and 5.30. Think he got the hint around 6 but then played with f on the bed so I couldn't sleep. The message must have got through when I stomped off to the spare room surely?

Managed to pack in a playgroup, sample sale, lunch out with nct friend and sainsbos already. Am knackered and h is out with work tonight si I have to put both boys to bed. Fortunately we've been invited for tea and bouncy castling later.

DeterminedandSpecialMum · 18/05/2012 14:04

Bee Northern I love Ed Sheeran and so does Darcie.

MissRee · 18/05/2012 14:56

Looks like a lonely one for me as DP is working all weekend and has just called to say he's going to be late tonight as well Sad

Just me and stinky chilling indoors then!

DeterminedandSpecialMum · 18/05/2012 15:39

MissRee You have my sympathies. My DP has been not getting home till 6ish, having dinner and then firing up his work laptop and working till the late hrs.

I swear my face is getting more and more swollen :(

Figgygal · 18/05/2012 15:56

Lo rolled front to back for first time wooo proud mummy Grin

jigglebum · 18/05/2012 17:32

Quiet day here today as AF here with avengence and feel knackered. Have decided to go back on the pill to help lighten them as much as for contraception purposes. ds and freya have both been great today though, which helps. Have a busy weekend though so hopefully feeling better tom.

have been speaking to work about hours for sep. looks like it will be 2 fullish days rather than 3 part days, which suits me much better. freya will go to nursery one day and in laws will come over one day. will be nice to have some money again but need to start paying my parents back the money they lent us for extension.

Oi - hope the house goes through, Gee - hope you find something better soon. we spent a good year finding this house and it was still a compromise and we have spent the last 18 months doing it up. we have had a kitchen and ensuite extension built but done most of the rest ourselves, including fitting a kitchen , laying wood floors and stripping wall paper and repainting every room. we just have the dining room to go. to be honest I wouldn't recommend it with 2 LOs and I find diy very dull. Next time I am buying a house like Oi's - already done!

freya finally fallen asleep - 2 hours later than ideal!

BJR · 18/05/2012 17:50

Pompoms for figgyboy and Octoboy for sleeping and rolling :o

Hope all the poorly feeling people start feeling better for the weekend.

LO seems a bit growth spurty this week, hoping he settles soon as i'm exhausted! I tried to have a day in to get some cleaning done but he had thwarted my attempts by getting hysterical at the hoover (he usually isn't bothered). I have now given up in favour of Brew

OiMissus · 18/05/2012 18:24

Hurrah for the rollers!
It may be Monday before we hear about the house, but it will be mine. Even if we get into a bidding war with the people seeing it tomorrow. I'm not letting this one go.
The tippietoes swing arrived today! BOi had a go for about 15 minutes and loved it. Grin I'll get some photos tomorrow.
My friend from Dundee came around thus afternoon, she hadn't met BOi before. Grin
unfortunately he is still snotty and was. A bit sicky too, but I don't think she minded.

Aaaand relax (in theory) . DH promises to come home with sushi, I've managed to make him a lemon drizzle cake (better rising this time, still has dimple in middle cos I used a square tin, but three heaped teaspoons of baking powder worked much better).
Have washed everything washable in house, scrubbed all surfaces, hoovered carpets and sofa and washed bathroom floor. House still messy but it's sanitised mess!!!

Trying to feed up dS now and when he conks I will take pripsen and start the clock. dH has agreed bravely to go on bottle duty overnight (if I take med at 7.30 and pump and dump at 10.30-11 I can feed DS again from 3.30. ) hope it works!!!

MissRee · 18/05/2012 19:18

Good luck with the pump and dump Aethel! Hope the wee man manages to stay asleep until 3.30 Grin

Just had steak, mushrooms, veggie rice and sweetcorn for dinner... nomnomnom!

OiMissus · 18/05/2012 19:42

Good luck aethel!
I love David Beckham. He lights my torch! :D

LittleMissFlustered · 18/05/2012 19:48

Hope the war you're waging is won by morning aethel

I realised today that my mood swings are back:( I get used to blocking it all out, but on reflection I've been horribly up and down for weeks:/

I have chocolate buttons though:)

Sleep well everyone.

Meant to say sorry LMF, I guess it's a good thing that you've realised though. Hope you get on top of them soon

Rashkakeller · 18/05/2012 20:25

Dp has gone t'pub, kids are in bed so I'm in the bath with a glass of wine, a book and my iPod...bliss! Last chance of a relax for a while, taking dd to a party tomorrow followed by a BBQ at a friends house then it's Maia's party on Sunday then we're off for few days in South Wales.

Sorry about the up and downs, LMF, hopefully the choccy buttons will help :)

Well done, Figgybaby on the rolling! Ds almost rolled again today but got thwarted by his playgym so fell asleep instead! Typical man!

NorthernChinchilla · 18/05/2012 21:07

Hello BioHaz crew, I'm just Skyping my Mum, but will be back in a bit.
Don't nobody else get ill this evening!

Have taken drug. Am officially a No Boob Zone until 4 am.
DH has a stiff upper lip, two sterilised bottles, a Doidy cup, some EBM and a carton of Aptumil at the ready.

I'm sleeping in the spare room later so that DS won't smell me (it's oh so cunning in theory, isn't it...)
