Sounds like we've had a similar day figgy - you've had the (bloody rude) 'Mummy politics', and I've had a facefull of the Office kind. Thankfully I'm not involved (mat leave helps!) but people are leaving and bitching all over the shop. It's a shame, as I love my job, but thankfully it's quite a self contained post so I can just get on with it...
Hope your DH mums up air; I can understand not wanting to be in the middle, but you and your kids are the priority, no questions.
That's really sweet Rashka!
Good to see you Plu, and hope all's settling down a bit. And you're allowed to admit to poking in poop, we all do it in some respects (see previous posts about spot-popping
) - I love getting out little bogeys if I can!
How's the lip Sorelip? My DS has done that too, and it hurts- and I felt both angry with him, even though I know it's not his 'fault'.
That sounds awful about the in-laws, and this is one of those lines in the sand that is not crossed. Feel sorry that you had to endure the verbals from them as well. I know you say your DH is in the middle, but he is backing you up on this isn't he?
Have you managed to peel any of the spawn off the ceiling yet LMF? My little sister was the same when she was first given Coke at a party, aged about five- she ran around the living room non-stop for ages then wet herself. 'Tis the best tale to embarrass her with now
, especially as she's a 14 year old uber-Kevin-teen...
And hope it's 'just' a virus mopsy, poor you. Fluids and paracetemol if you can face it, and can you DP do the nightshift, or a bit of it?
