Banbury

Back ti every 2 hrs. Dh's food is hitting and I feel rough. Also had trouble sleeping when I'm supposed to be. Came back down south today and it was a bit of an epic journey so I feel totally wired by it. F did really well until the last hour and a half when he was really pissed off but not hungry. This coincided with 40 mins going right through central london when he cried whenever we stopped at traffic lights. Hard work. Now can't switch off.

Quick post just to say hello. Sorry to hear of broken arms, house purchase collapses, mountains of poo (child and dog) and crap sleep.

I've just had my first night without DS, DP had him at his parents. We've got to head back south today too hawthers, deep joy.

Will have to fill you in on the weekend as I used up a significant quantity of haddock on Friday, although all is now forgiven...

Hello to Plu too, glad to see you back!

Figgygal · 13/05/2012 08:36

Morning all

Another lovely day here lo has had 2 pops already today making up for his "difficulties" yesterday. I've woken up to my first period in 15 months bad bad bad did wonder why my tummy hurt last night.

now what to do with the sun again??

MissRee · 13/05/2012 08:38

Rather insensitive friend has just blabbered on about how I MUST take the full years mat leave and not go back in two months regardless of financials. Apparently I'll only regret it and be moaning all the time that I miss Freya.

So getting the house repossessed isn't such a bad thing cos at least I got to spend a full year with Freya? Hmm

Gah, as if I didn't feel shit enough about it Sad

HoneyLovesCake · 13/05/2012 08:39

Put DS on his playmat for morning tummy time while I did the washing up & made my porridge. He usually shouts after about 5 mins but I heard nothing from him; went to check on him & he was happily lying on his back Grin He has apparently rolled over once before but DP was the only witness & he tends to exaggerate DS's talents.

DeterminedandSpecialMum · 13/05/2012 08:48

Seven Good to see DS has been discharged. Hope the pj hunt went well.

LMF Hope you got some sleep last night.

Hawthers Hope you have a chill out day today after all that travelling yesterday.

Figgy Know how you feel about period being here Sad

There is a reason I do night feeds...Sky slept from 8-3:30 DP got up gave her an 1oz of milk and claimed she didn't want anymore even tho she was still making I'm hungry noises, so I ended up getting up Sad feel ruff still too.

DeterminedandSpecialMum · 13/05/2012 08:48

Honey Well Done to DS Grin

AWomanCalledHorse · 13/05/2012 08:52

MissRee, I've found the size 3 tesco disposables are the best ones (DH refuses to use the reuseables), congrats on Wii bargain!

Seven, hope DS is on the mend soon!

MissRee, (hugs) You're doing what's best for your family. Your friend can have a mini

We stayed at a mates friday night & all of yesterday so DH is on baby duty & feeling Banbury. I slept with my ipod on & didn't wake up to DS's cries

Sorelip · 13/05/2012 09:06

Seven, I hope DS gets better soon!

DS said 'mum'! And he has now said 'dada' as well. DH was a bit tearful :)

seven77 · 13/05/2012 09:24

Morning.

missree I second that your friend deserves a

The pyjama hunt was an epic fail, DH found one shirt. DS slept in a zip up hoodie, and thankfully doesn't want to get dressed. He's drugged up with calpol and nurofen, now laying on the sofa watching cars. I've never broken a bone before, if anyone can give me any practical advice I'd be really grateful. We werent told anything except don't let the cast get wet, which we obviously knew already!

In baby news can anyone else's LO commando crawl backwards?

MissRee · 13/05/2012 09:33

My niece broke her leg last year seven, aged 3. Definitely keep up with the calpol and nurofen together while he's still in pain. It might get itchy too but try to not let him stick things down there to scratch!

BJR · 13/05/2012 09:53

Sorelip thats lovely I can't wait untill we get some real words here.

Hope DS feels better soon Seven and LO tends to go backwards more than forwards when trying to commando crawl, to be honest though he doesn't get very far in any direction yet!

Sorry to hear your friend is being insensitive missree i don't think people think about what they saw very much. There is nothing wrong with doing whats right for your family, and keeping a roof over your head is pretty high up on the list of important things!

Mixed night here, DS slept from 9 till 4 which was lovely but didn't go back down after that so i'm still feeling pretty knackered, hes only just dosing off again now, i don't know where he gets the energy from.

Figgygal · 13/05/2012 10:07

Sore lip how old is DS? Is that early?
Missree I'm back in 6 weeks had felt ok about it until the last week and now I've been seriously thinking of ways I can put it off but doing so without pissing off childminder or work can't be done so just got to stick with it. Sad does your friend think you want to abandon your lo or something jeez!!!

hawthers · 13/05/2012 10:22

Haddocks!

And breathe...

HoneyLovesCake · 13/05/2012 10:29

Sorelip that's amazing, :) I don't feel like Rocco's anywhere near proper words yet & he's almost 2 weeks older than your DS I think; he did say tea/tee this morning, obviously a random sound but I tried to convince DP he was suggesting he get me a Brew in bed Wink Looks like you'll have a proper little chatterbox on your hands!

LittleMissFlustered · 13/05/2012 10:50

I hae coffee. This is because from about 2AM onward I had no sleep. All will be well, going to throw fish at people. Incoming!:)
