Sorry to hear you've been having a hard time sassy

M is the same with wriggling and rolling around. I'm convinced he must be secretly crawling when I'm out the room as I can't work out how he moves so quickly from one side of the play mat to the other when I walk in and out of the lounge Grin

sassy34264 · 08/05/2012 14:31

she is crawling of sorts. just did it today!!!

got it on camera but i cant upload videos frim this stupid phone onto facebook.....argh

any ideas???

sassy34264 · 08/05/2012 14:32

thanks eng x

sassy34264 · 08/05/2012 14:47

lots of stuff going on. [[www.mumsnet.com/Talk/relationships/1426203-Abusive-exdp-and-dd1s-relationship-long?pg=1&order= this isn't helping]

you dont have to read, obviously. (just another thing that's marring the situation)

sassy34264 · 08/05/2012 14:48

argh

Engelsmeisje · 08/05/2012 17:48

what a nightmare sassy.

Jnice · 08/05/2012 18:01

Thanks for all the supportive words - feeling better today Wink

Sassy I'm sorry you're having a hard time of it. I hate it when I shout at the kids and it happens way too frequently Sad

CheshireDing · 08/05/2012 19:16

Sassy I wondered where you had gone because I had an exercise question the other day but have forgotten it now and am too knackered to do any anyway Sad But your post started in March so you have been dealing with his crap for a long-time now (not including previous ocassions), I am amazed you have not lost the plot before today. Give me a shout if you fancy meeting at the TC anytime, plus scheh is back too now :) - footy matches permitting.

Is it terrible to be in my pj's at 6.30pm? Grin. Does this mean I am one step away from a "juicy" trackie??

Does anyone elses baby spend ALL day screaching??!! I mean, for god sake, it's deafening (and unnecessary imo)

Jnice how are the nips? I now have blood blisters too, so attractive.

LittlePebble · 08/05/2012 19:46

Sassy what Cheshire said (about ex) not exercise I'm a lazy cow and don't do any. Yay for Eva crawling, E still doesn't roll but he does now pull himself forward from sitting and rock on his arms and legs before falling on his front. My parents think its the start of crawling I hope not don't know how I'll get anything done once he's mobile!
I'm the same as mama we don't leave 3 days between foods E tends to eat much of what we have but just steering clear of sugary and salty foods.
I though I broke the thread it all went quiet after my post Grin

strawberrypenguin · 08/05/2012 20:29

sassy sorry your having a tough time. Yay for crawling Smile

I've never left 3 days between new food and W is fine (didn't actually know you were supposed to Blush )

We went and saw the cranio-facial team at John Radcliffe for the first time today. They said W had plenty of head space for his brain to grow onto at the moment (although his head is growing in the typical of a fused sagittal join ie long from from to back rather than round) They don't want to do anything straight away but the long term plan is that they will operate and remodel his head (big op, quite scary although they do up to 4 a week so know what they are doing) when he's 12-15 months. In the mean time we just have to keep an eye for anything that's wrong and we have a follow up with them in 3 months for them to check his development

LittlePebble · 08/05/2012 20:53

Strawberry how did W get diagnosed? I had a look online it is amazing the results they get from the operation, but I can only imagine how scary it must be knowing you have to put your LO through that. Sad

sassy34264 · 08/05/2012 23:30

thanks everyone. it will all sort itself out eventually.

yes cheshire a meet up would be nice. i usually have no plans and a full time car at the moment- so im ok for most dates!

strawberry so sorry about your lo. ive no experience of having my child needing an operation, so cant begin to know how scary/ worrying it must be. can his development in the meantime improve enough for no operation? or is it a definite?

ed how are you sweet? x

mamma are you still on the couch to 5k programme?

im thinking about testing my legs at the gym this week for shin splint recovery. ive rested for the 3 weeks the experts advise.

sil has her final results on thurs to see if she is in remission. whole family is going out at the weekend for a meal.

EdwardorEricCantDecide · 09/05/2012 00:23

sassy i'm fine thanks am crazy busy atm as its C's birthday on friday and M's christening next week. things are looking much better here for now.
i'm so sorry to hear about the trouble your having with ex hope it all gets sorted in your and chloe's favour!
FX for Sil and congrats on crawling! cant believe how fast these babies are growing Sad

i'm another that doesn't bother waiting 3 days for new foods but i have no history of allergies so consider it a low risk.

Mhairi is another who spends all day shouting its the only way she can be heard over C Grin pretty sure i'll have tinnitus by xmas! she can now roll back to front and front to back and can shuffle 360d. she is also sitting up really well and i'm sure we'll have at least one tooth by her christening as lower gums look really white in the middle.

i only lasted one day on the C25K but intend to start again.

happy birthday jnice

i did have something else to say but have totally forgotten what it was Blush

Engelsmeisje · 09/05/2012 00:59

Morning everyone. It's 2am and I have been trying to get to sleep for the last 3 hours and have just given up and come downstairs. I have no idea why I'm so wide awake...I really want to sleep and now will be a grumpy cow tomorrow with M Sad

Cheshire M has started screeching and sqwuaking the last few days, especially when he isn't being fed fast enough, or can't reach the toy he wants. DH was driven spare on Monday afternoon (he obv can't cope without me!).

Glad that W is doing okay at the moment strawberry. I can't imagine having to go through such a major op with M.

fx for your SIL sassy

CheshireDing · 09/05/2012 04:40

Engels do you want to come round and see to P then? Grin. She is back to waking every 2 hours Sad.

I have no idea if she waking because of teeth and then just deciding she is hungry or is just waking because she is hungry. Currently she has just been put down for the second time for a 4 minute stretch. Sad Sad

sassy34264 · 09/05/2012 06:31

argh!!!

eva up at 5.39am and twins up at 6am. im fecking sick of these shit nappies- morrisons and huggies- there waking up soaking.

aldi's are being bulked bought this weekend!!!!

got a play date with my best friend and her ds this morning too- bloody bog eyed. Hmm

strawberrypenguin · 09/05/2012 06:44

lp W was first diagnosed when I had a growth scan at 35wks. They picked up that his head was longer than it should be and it showed as a bit 'lemon shaped' on the scan. We had a consultant rescan and he provisionally diagnosed then and it was confirmed after he was born. We were lucky it's rare for it to be picked up antinataly it's not usually spotted until children are several months old.

sassy unfortunately it can't fix itself. Because the join down the centre of his head has fully fused there is no way for it to separate itself. We could choose not to operate but his head would continue to grow in length front to back which could affect his balance and in up to 50% of untreated cases the pressure inside the skull gets too great and causes brain damage and those aren't odds I'm willing to play. They also don't know how much damage would occur to the brain in each individual case if the brain is forced to grow in a way it doesn't want to because of the space restrictions.

*cheshire

strawberrypenguin · 09/05/2012 06:45

Sorry W grabbed my phone
cheshire and eng hope you both got some sleep

strawberrypenguin · 09/05/2012 06:49

X post sassy huggies don't work for us either I use Tesco own brand most of the time and they work well on W

sassy34264 · 09/05/2012 06:55

strawberry Sad poor w and you. x

ed glad it is going well. hope c has a fabulous birthday.

cheshire i do feel for all the ladies who are still waking. i had 5 hours and 39mins in total, with wake up for the toilet about half way between and im dysfunctioning!
Grin so god knows what you are all like. no wonder we have baby brain and say profound things.
Wink

MrsHende · 09/05/2012 19:25

Hello all, it's been a bit quiet here...!

Sassy, it sounds like you're having a tough time, sending lots of positive vibes to you and Chloe (and lots of decent nappy vibes too Grin - huggies are awful!).

Ed, hope you're feeling a bit brighter and have got out a bit more. Really pleased to read that DH is trying hard, especially on the weekend of the footie. As the wife of a fan from the blue side of Glasgow I know that would have been a challenge for him.

Strawberry, you always sound so calm about W, he's a lucky boy to have a together mum. I'm sorry he'll have to have an op but I'm glad they do four a week!

I'm beginning to forget who said what now!

El how's the sleeping going?

LP, how was the launch of the business? Have you been able to be at home a bit more this week?

I'm going into work tomorrow for the afternoon, wish my DH luck because L still isn't taking a bottle! I'll be teaching so, although I'm dreading leaving her, I know that when I'm in the thick of it with 20 five year olds I'll be totally distracted.

My task this evening is to sort all the clothes that L has grown out of - there is a mountain of them! The neutral ones are going to BIL+SIL for Lizzie's cousin who is due next month, then the rest have to be sorted as bin, charity shop or keep.

Hope all is well with everyone.

EdwardorEricCantDecide · 10/05/2012 01:13

MrsH if your looking to make a bit of spare cash there's a pre loved baby market on the first Sunday of every month at M&Ds I'm doing a stall there in June seems less hassle than eBay but then I have loads of DS's outgrown things as well.

Jnice · 10/05/2012 03:26

*MrsH^ I have the clothes mountain to sort out too. Not keeping anything (bar a couple of keepsakes) as L is our last Sad. Thinking of eBay but that seems like a huge hassle really.

My left boob is blocked again and another milk blister appeared - I've just about had enough! Angry

Jnice · 10/05/2012 03:29

Strawb ditto what mrsH said - you, your DH and W must have been through quite a lot of stress and you seem to handle it so well. Sounds like you're in good hands.

Sassy, I read a bit of your other thread - I hope you and DD are coping ok.

Jnice · 10/05/2012 03:33

Leo is also a shouter. And yesterday he started scratching his forehead terribly - he looks like he's been dragged across gravel Sad he grips on and then pulls his hands across his skin - its awful. His nails are
Pretty short too.

Pleased to hear that most people aren't waiting 3 days. I'm just doing my own thing. L has shots tomorrow so will ask the public health nurse her opinion.
