lizandlulu · 29/03/2012 21:34

hiya all, sorry i have been negelcting youBlush i feel like i havent sat down for a week (and no, not for the reasons you think!!) i have just been so so busy.

iwish i am so glad sunday all went well, the pictures are lovely and you all look really nice. hows the weaning going? it does sound like you are doing dead good.

madkatz thats abit harsh!! i hope you get sorted soon. and poor baby!! i hope shes well. its not nice for an adult, never mind a babySad

kou all well your end?? why do you think hes been up? teeth?

we went out last night for mils birthday, she came over, and we wnet out for tea. was back for 9.30ish, but the baby had been awake the whole time bar 10 mins on the way home. so she had a full 7 oz and went straight to sleep. 20 mins later shes screaming and had 5 oz more. then 12.30 she wants more!! another 3 oz and she was away then for the night!!

and the stuff i listed on ebay finished tonight, so have been packing that, so have literally not sat down all bleeding day!!!!

going to go to work tomorrow for a restGrin

KLou111 · 30/03/2012 19:36

Evening!
Bloody hell madkatz sounds like a faff!! Hope your little lady is sorted out soon with whatever is wrong bless her x

Lol Liz work for a rest!! Hope violet ok for you after her late night.

How's Joshua now iwish.

Well, ok here. Had a fab few days with the in laws. Went to tenby tues, then national botanical gardens weds down the road we've not been to before. Was lovely and bloody scorching!!
Euan cried for about half hour when they arrived, was very strange. Proper tears and everything, but was ok after a while.
Had his first taste of ice cream at the gardens, loved it.

He's been really restless overnight for about a week now, really feeling it. He wants to move in his cot, so I took his covers off, sleeping bag on, doesn't like it now! He wants to spread his legs so was restricting him. I put his sheets back on but he was jammed down. So last night I put his shawl on the cot, which is all holey as I thought he may be hot, but also it gave him freedom. Well, I assume you've seen the piccie I put on Facebook this morning!!! He whinged in the night, but we ignored him most the time. Rob said he got up twice, I went in about 5am and he'd moved down the cot, then was quiet til 7.45, Rob went in as he was chatting away and called me as Euan was on his belly at the head of his cot!

He has started pulling himself up today on the coffee table from sitting to standing so am hoping he doesn't do it in his cot. We've dropped it though.
All go here lol!

Hope all goes well for Sophies madkatz x x

Iwish · 31/03/2012 12:40

I actually can't believe it. Joshua had his feed at 7:00pm, went to bed at 7:30 and didn't have another feed till 6:00am!!!!! Then he went to bed till 7:40. He did whinge for a hour at 11:30pm but that's forgiven Grin. Probably a 1 off.....

Hope you have a lovely day at Sophies naming day madkatz. Let us know how you get on.

Poor Euan having a bad time sleeping. glad you had a good time with the In laws tho.

Weaning is going well thanks liz. He's just started on 3 meals from today. He's eating loads tho. I've got the book that klou has and it says he should have about 5 cubes of food for lunch and he had 8 cubes of chicken dinner for his lunch with 4 cubes of fruit!!
How was violets sleep last night? Did she keep waking for milk?

KLou111 · 31/03/2012 13:37

Yey iwish!!! Bet you feel great!! Well done Joshua!!
Must admit, I started feeding Euan more than the book said by about a cube at a time from 5 months. If he ate it, I gave it him! But the recipe portions he has what it says, but I've given him a roast potato, carrot cubes, broccoli and cauli extra today, most of it just got played with though!
I've fed Euan slightly more today (double porridge this morning and ate the lot!) And a bit more at lunch as above, I'm starting to wonder if he is waking hungry as he's had the same portions for a couple of months now. I'm just worried if he has too much food he won't want his milk, which he is taking again, so will see how it goes.

OP posts:
lizandlulu · 31/03/2012 15:22

wow your kids eat loads compared to mine, but shes being very fussy with her savoury. i am trying not to make a big deal over it and just giving her what she wants, and she is getting better then she was. but still not eating a great deal.

shes sleeping normal again now iwish apart from last week, for 4 nights on the trot she woke at 10 ish for a bottle, but must just have been a growth psurt or something, shes back to 6 till 7.15 ish.

KLou111 · 31/03/2012 17:34

Lol Liz Euan certainly does eat!!
So far today he's had 7oz bottle, 2oz milk mixed with porridge, 1 slice toast, chick casserole (large jar equivalent), 1 yoghurt, 1 biscotti, 3oz milk, 1 rusk, medium jacket spud with 4 tbsp beans, 1 slice bread/butter, 1 yoghurt. He's got 7oz milk to go yet.
Am putting his sleeping bag back in and hisw
winnie lightshow too.
Fingers crossed :)

KLou111 · 31/03/2012 17:42

Just remembered, extra veg at lunchtime too!

OP posts:
Iwish · 31/03/2012 18:02

No I feel poo klou I woke up at 4:30 and kept waking up till he got up because my boobs were full and sore lol.
I've increased his cubes every few days if he demolished it last time.
Fingers crossed Euan sleeps ok tonight for you.

Glad she's sleeping better liz. Yeh maybe she was going through a growth spurt. Lol Joshua does seem to be eating loads.

Today he's had:
7:50 milk
8:15 3 cubes fruit and 3/4 yoghurt then milk
11:45 8 cubes of chicken dinner and 4 cubes of fruit then milk
2:30 milk
5:00 5 tablespoons of porridge (before mixing with water) and 1/2 a yoghurt then milk.

Little fatty lol. He has done about 4 poos today too!! They are like plasticine tho. Is that normal? They've been like that since starting solids.

lizandlulu · 31/03/2012 19:00

violets can be like that sometimes, mostly hers are quite loose tho, but thats normal for her.

well, for the first time in my life i have been out today and ran out of nappies in the changing bag!! luckily we was only 5 miles from home and on the way back anyway, but went to mansfield outlet and stopped on the way home for dinner where i changed her as she'd poohed. as we were coming out i realisedshe'd done it again, but went to change her and got no nappies!!!! had to fold a bib up and put it in her vest till we got homeGrin luckily it wasnt a platic backed oneGrin

and YEYYYYY for the full nights sleep!!!!! think positive!

KLou111 · 01/04/2012 08:37

Yeah that's normal iwish think it's to do with solids :)

Lol running out of nappies Liz good idea with the bib!

Well, had a hugely better nights sleep. Euan woke about 1 so I put his dummy in and his lightshow on. Then I heard him really briefly twice for about a second, and his lightshow came on and that distracted him so back off. He'd been chatting on and off since 6.45, but got him at 8.10 and he was watching winnie quite happily. Now watching Mr bean in bed :o

OP posts:
Iwish · 01/04/2012 15:12

Glad you had a better sleep klou glad he's back on his milk too.
I keep giving Joshua bits of water too see if it makes it easier for him to poop but he just spits most of it out. Might need to get him some weetabix.

Lol at the nappies liz!! How are you today?

Shite sleep again last night, he was up at 10:00, 11:30-12:30, 2:30 and wouldn't get to sleep without me so put him in our bed. He woke at 4:30, fed him and put him in bed at 5:15. He woke up at 5:45 and wouldn't settle again so ended up in our bed again till he woke at 7:40. Nick took him down at 8:10 and I slept till 9:10. Just dont understand why every night is different and most nights are so crap :(

KLou111 · 01/04/2012 17:44

Sorry you had a crap night iwish was hoping he was settling for you.
What's this momsnet shite?????? Fecking Americanisms!!!

OP posts:
KLou111 · 01/04/2012 18:12

They've just changed it back, good!!!

OP posts:
Iwish · 01/04/2012 19:19

Lol I noticed that earlier and thought wtf?!
Yeh I was so proud of him the night before going 11 hours between feeds, was clearly a 1 off.
Went to next on Friday to get Joshua some new clothes and spent £79!! Ooops. Luckily £75 was vouchers that he got for the christening. Got some lovely stuff tho.

Having gammon dinner tonight. Can't wait!! Im starving and I love it. Joshua just having his free then puttin him to bed.

How's everyones weekends been?

KLou111 · 01/04/2012 19:28

Think it was an April fool. Did a search earlier, very good!

Lol with the clothes!! I spent £27 the other day on summer clothes and I thought that was a rip off!! Love buying baby clothes though, so bloody cute!!

We were meant to be having gammon too but couldn't be bothered so Rob's got a lasagne and garlic bread in :)

Had a drive by viewing earlier (someone stopped at the top of our drive), hope it's a good sign!

OP posts:
lizandlulu · 01/04/2012 20:42

momsnet?? i missed that!!

did you get alot for £79 iwish? i went in next the other day to pick up 2 school cardis for lulu i had ordered off the internet an there was some lovely stuff in there. alot of nice adults too. bought myself 2 tops. for me, usually its abit hit and miss. i am not 'trendy' and some of it can be too in fashion for me. i like my clothes to lastGrin but i love pastels and they are all in at the mo arent they?

klou was you staring out your front window to see these peopleGrin i hope its a good sign and they come and look at it. to be honest, i did look at hte rightmove details and it looks lovely, dont you want to move the house brick by brick??Grin those stickers you put in euans room, are they on perspex?

Iwish · 01/04/2012 20:51

Drive by viewing sounds good klou fingers crossed it leads to a sale. Yeh I live buying baby clothes too, would rather buy for him than me.
My gammon was yum, could have eaten it all over again.

I did get a few things liz. I got him some sandals, 4 pairs of trousers/jeans, 5 tops and a cardigan. He's going to look soooo cute!! The girls stuff are gorgeous too.
I love next clothes for me too, they have done lovely stuff in there atm but I'm not buying nice clothes until I lose some weight.

Just made some fish, mash and pea purée for Joshua and done blueberry and rasberry purée. I hope he likes it. The fish one looks odd tho as its green Grin

KLou111 · 02/04/2012 10:13

Lol Liz we were in the conservatory, which is side on to the drive so we could ase someone stopped at the top looking down in their car behind the gate :)
Rob saw them first as he was looking where Bella was in the garden, and I was feeding Euan his tea, and he said don't look but think there's someone looking at the top of the drive, so I looked lol. Then they drove off. No phonecall yet though :(
Yes, sticker on perspex. We did the first one on the wall and it just didn't stick, so the company sent us another one for free, so we ordered some clear perspex off the net made to measure, which is good cos we can take it with us :)

Clothes sound lovely iwish I got Euan some little sandals in mothercare the other day for £2!! Bargain lol!

Hi Ladies,

Well, we had a lovely day at Sophies Party - I've posted one pic and will put some more on when they're ready - the speeches and promises were very emotional but very special. And the weather was scorching considering we were forecast rain!

I took Sophie off the antibiotics on Saturday as they were making her vomit, she wasn't keeping anything down, Friday she went through 4 outfits and I had to change twice too Hmm Spoke to the doc who wants me to do another urine sample to see if its cleared up before they can decide to stop meds or change them.

We're also back to pure breast milk and no purees as we still don't know what's upsetting her tummy. It feels like a big back step, considering she had made such progress. Sad

Sophie sat up on her own for the 1st time today, not a little baby any more.

KLou111 · 03/04/2012 17:57

Sounds like you had a beautiful day madkatz, your picture is absolutely gorgeous!
I hope Sophie gets better soon and they sort it all out. It's not silent acid is it?

All good here. Euan is getting very confident and on the move constantly! He is now sleeping on his side, but still waking a few times in the night.
He is 'on the move' too. He's learnt that if he sits upright, and then puts one leg behind him and his hands in front on the floor, he can push/pull himself along. He keeps falling foreward on his belly tho lol.

Well a lot better night again. Had a little winged at around 12, ignored him, went off in 5 mins or so. Heard screaming at 3, and Euan had managed to soon himself widthways, then that was it til 745 :)
Had the chunk weighed today and he was 20lb 13.5oz. He's slightly dropped from the 91st line in the middle of the 2 now.

Well, had no calls yet, but are now seriously thinking of holiday letting this place. We are stuck in out mortgage til 2 July, so can't do anything til then, ad we have to pay a fee otherwise. Means would have to leave around 20% in this, and house we could buy would drop slightly as we don't want a huge mortgage still.
Rob has just phoned the letting people and they are going to come and value it. They do all the ads, but they take 20%!!!! Rob had never really wanted to sell, but to get a bigger family house we had to to get all the money out. But it also means we wouldn't be in a chain, so could be a winner. :)
