Hi all, I'm still around. Reading semi-regularly, but not had time really to post. Sorry! Life is still a bit up in the air here and doing its best to kick DH and I in the teeth at every opportunity!!
No one thing in particular, just the regular woes of my company still being generally crap. Then there are the interviews where they then change their minds about what they advertised as being after, assuming they actually provide any feedback at all.
Chaos with trying to sell our house too. We'd found a lovely new build in a perfect area that they'd part exchange on, but the offer they made for our house is verging on insulting and they won't negotiate the price of theirs! So no-go there after having run around trying to get that sorted.
So no imminent baby plans here... Our three year gap plan is shifting to a four year gap thanks to job/house/ecomony woes. :(
M, at least, is pretty much fine. She's a had a bit of a cold, but on the whole has been lovely lately. :) She made me a card at nursery, which I was given on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, she was so excited.
I also got a bit of a lie in for an hour, as DH took her downstairs. Lovely!
Looking forward to next weekend too, as the final part of my birthday present was a weekend away. My parents are looking after M while DH and I are staying in a B&B and seeing Twelfth Night at the theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon. My favourite Shakespeare play! I can't wait!!
A quick toddler related question... Is anyone elses toddler obsessed with the toilet, or 'Potpot' as she seems to have dubbed it? We've had her in pull ups over the weekend because it was easier as every hour or two she demands to go and sit on the training seat on the toilet, then go through the whole motion of cleaning up after, flushing and washing her hands.
Obviously she's not producing anything, I don't think she's ready for toilet training! But I'm confused over whether her 'playing' at it is a good thing or a bad thing.
Of course if she does manage to toilet train herself in this way I'm not going to complain...
Though I fear I might have to run really fast!
