Have gone with LMFs title suggestion :)

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
DarcieandSkysmum · 05/02/2012 15:06

Thanks Ladies Smile

Darcie has been gradually grating on him with her bad behaviour and it came to a head this morning when he caught her drawing with felt tips on her pine bedside cabinet Sad from then on all I've had to do is breathe loudly and he's snapped at me because he's annoyed with her - I can't win with either side at the moment and he also seems to think I don't do enough around the house as he feels he's coming home and having to tidy up - which is bollocks because generally it's his own stuff he's tidying up! Angry everytime you point it out to him and when I've said about his crappy attitude towards me today it's 'stop going on at me' Sad yet he's happy to criticise me. Is it Monday yet?!

Pleased to say Darcie ate her dinner tho for the first time in 6 weekends because she's generally being a cowbag!

My little lady Sky is being an angel as always Smile

DarcieandSkysmum · 05/02/2012 15:06

LMF We are watching Willy Wonka too Smile

aethelfleda · 05/02/2012 15:13

darcies there's a spare over there, warming up on the radiator so as to be extra fruity. Use as required. Also remind your Blole
That older sibling reaction to a new beeb is normal and
often takes this form. Sidestepping fireworks will be far more
effective than taking it out on you, remind him she's only six (is that right?) and that he can probably remember doing something similar at that age (I know I did!) Good luck xx

lmf lovely pics, and hope your back with your other DCs as soon as possible. Are they staying with friends/granny at the mo? It must w really tricky not seeing them.

northern, what's pFB ? I googled it and it came up with "potential F-buddy" which i don't think was what you meant!!!!

aethelfleda · 05/02/2012 15:15

Arg. I accidentally typed your instead of You're. In the name of grammatical pedantry please shoot me now...

LittleMissFlustered · 05/02/2012 15:28

PFB is precious first born Wink I think you and I are a little beyond that now:o

Kids are with my mum and dad. They've been playing in the snow today apparently, and my other wee man sat and watched Willy Wonka too:) I saw them on Friday, and will see them tomorrow. I'm just really hoping Octopus Boy develops an independence from the O2 soon.

Carry on Screaming is on in a bit. Love that film... FRYING TONIGHT!:o

YBR · 05/02/2012 15:38

Aethel Those who acknowledge their errors will be forgiven,
however, the nursery we visited yesterday might not; "dummy pot's" doh!

KateM77 · 05/02/2012 15:46

Dummy pot's = unforgivable!

It seems we're all fans of the Willy Wink. Watched it here too

I've cheered up no end because DS just gave me a proper smile in response to me. A huge improvement on windy smiles or smiles directed at inanimate objects. Brought a tear to my eye :)

LittleMissFlustered · 05/02/2012 15:50

Just found Stargate on the tellybox... That's me sat drooling into a bucket for an hour or soWink

DarcieandSkysmum · 05/02/2012 15:54

Northern It is my sisters first baby. She's been trying since she got married in June last year. So really pleased for her as she never thought it would happen Smile

Aethel Thanks for the extra fruity haddock Smile will enjoy lobbing and slapping him with that later Grin

Sky has just had a poosplosion was everywhere - is now clean and having nappy free time on her changing mat on the floor. Seems quite happy down there Smile

NorthernChinchilla · 05/02/2012 17:38

Grin at 'potential fck buddy' aethel!

I too know the horror of accidentally typing the wrong you're/your or there/they're/their... it's as if your brain 'hears' one thing and your fingers the other. Am also a pedant, and the accidents are a million times worse if you are.

Kate- I am sooo waiting for that smile, how lovely you've had yours!

And that's lovely news Darcies, sure you'll enjoy her pregnancy with her.

Right, have recorded Utd V Chelsea, let battle commence...

luckysevens · 05/02/2012 17:56

darcies great about your sister. DS is being a bugger difficult today too. No excuse for your DP to take it out on you though.

lmf hope he gets off the oxygen soon.

msb any sign of the cat yet?

Eva seems much better today, just a cough now. I've started feeding her on demand again as twice she's wanted more than the 3oz the hospital recommended and last night she was grumpy when I woke her for a feed she didn't want.

Loads of snow here, lazy day, steak and chips for tea.

DarcieandSkysmum · 05/02/2012 18:41

Thanks Ladies.

Northern the game was shocking what I expect from UTD got there acting skills down to a Tee! Angry

Dancing on Ice for us tonight.

YBR · 05/02/2012 20:39

I'm so glad I'm not the only pedant for correct grammar on here - typing accidents are one thing but so many people neither know nor care. My LO will be brought up to use language properly like wot i do Hmm.

OiMissus · 05/02/2012 21:09

He he he! Looks like their r a few pedants on hear then ass we'll as me.

GrinGrinGrin

I am really not looking forward to the discussions that lie ahead when LO starts using text speak, or whatever language it will be then, by text/social network. I like Facebook but I just want to correct everyone's statuses (stati ?!) all the time.

Lovely pics of gorgeous kids lmf!

I really enjoyed the match darcies. it was a thrilling game. We'll have to agree to disagree with regards to Utd diving.
I don't care about footie, I just watched the match whilst spending time with friends. Smile

msbuggywinkle · 05/02/2012 21:20

Still no mog! We'll put posters up tomorrow.

lmf your DC are lovely!

darcies sympathy on the snappy DH. DP tends to misdirect his crossness too. Congrats to your sister too!

Been doing really well with EC this weekend, been catching almost every pee!

aethelfleda · 06/02/2012 02:09

Meh...

OiMissus · 06/02/2012 02:38

Z z z z....

mopsytop · 06/02/2012 03:35

Hello! Anyone about? Horrible headache, hope this feed doesn't take long...

hawthers · 06/02/2012 04:21

Ergh ds would not go down after his last feed, he just did not seem satisfied despite falling asleep in the usual way. Hmm he is 6 weeks on wed - could this be the dreaded growth spurt?

datcies hope the application of the stinky Haddock has done the trick.

lmf still routing for octoboy that head gear is quite something.

msb hope the mog ge returned face and sound

mopsy si jealous of your full

hawthers · 06/02/2012 04:30

Nooooo I wasn't finished

...night's sleep but hope your headache.is better

seven glad Eva is doing better today. Sorry to hear that your ds was bring tricky. We had a similar one yesterday and not too sure how I'll cope tom on vastly less sleep...

Congratulations on all the first smiles. Can't wait for ours - hope it's soon, I need some encouragement.

hawthers · 06/02/2012 04:33

Oh pants bloody auto correct

msb that should read safe and sound

aethelfleda · 06/02/2012 05:11

Grr. Put DS down at 3.20 and at 4,50 woken and snurfing for more.
Oh well . Something I have noticed is that since the tongue tie snip he actually has real naps in the day - three each day so far, think its cos he's feeding more effectively, brfore it was a 15 min zonk then he'd wake up. ( he dlept for almost 2 hours after lunchtime yesterdat:,hope this continues!!)

AnAirOfHope · 06/02/2012 06:49

I think Hope is having a growth spurt as she is just6 feeding all the time and i cant get anything else done.

mopsytop · 06/02/2012 07:43

How long should they be napping for during the day aethel? I've been writing down feeding times butbi need to start writing down napping times. Want to get into some sort of routine. We already are more or less wrt feeding but yesterday she was really grizzly all afternoon and I think she was overtired. I have her nap downstairs where it's noisy/I can see her. Don't want her to need quiet to nap. But after 6 o clock feed have started putting her in her cit in my bedroom as I want to start making day/night time difference clear. She actually went down in the cot although she took a bit of settling and woke up once and needed more settling. Then husband fed her at half ten (I told him to keep lights down/not talk to her etc.) and then at the 3:30 feed I fed her in the dark and didn't talk to her at all and she went straight down after. Does this all sound like the right sort of thing to be doing?

LittleMissFlustered · 06/02/2012 07:46

12 hours without oxygen!
