delurking to say hello ladies

tea-hope yours are on the mend

still no teeth here, but being toothless does not stop her chewing everything she can get her hands on.we will be spending part of the weekend trying to make the flat safer, she is very mobile and quite speedy we have proper crawling and she keeps trying to stand up now that she can sit up by herself, guess tiny baby no more

take care all, hope you keeping well

katzg · 23/02/2006 13:28

more teeth here now too, two on the top and three on the bottom and another 3 lurking (2 top 1 bottom)!

Still NO teeth and still crawling backwards!!!!!

Bubbaloo · 23/02/2006 17:56

Still only 2 teeth here and very grumpy with it,so I'm sure there's more on the way soon!

muma3 · 23/02/2006 17:58

2 teeth just and no crawling

amyjade · 23/02/2006 19:33

Hi Ladies just thought i'd pop by and say hello.

Can't believe some of yours are walking!!

Dd2 has 2 teeth, sits unaided and has just learnt to get down on her belly from sitting so hopefully the crawling won't be long.

At her 8 month check she weighed in at a massive 22lb and is 72.5cm long, i think she's going to be tall like her big sister, she was 75.5cm at 8 months !!

I will pop by again soon x

ds has 3 teeth, and boy does he like using them! On any food that comes his way, the floor mat, the cats, telephones, my poor boobies. And now he's figured out how to open drawers, he's eating the dvd's too. Sigh.

Two teeth here and DS2 has also just starting crawling and pulling himself up to standing all the time. Can't believe his Junie twin is already walking Katz!

It's a shock to the system having two that can move, I can't keep track of them both. Funny though...DS2 slaps his hands down on the floor with such relish when he's crawling, you can hear him coming a mile off

Yeah,he's lovely thanks Giddy.
Blowing kisses is so cute-we're trying to teach Oscar to clap hands at the mo.

lummox · 24/02/2006 19:50

Hi KVG and everyone else,

Still here (just) after going back to work part time.

Four teeth, backwards crawling and an awful lot of trying to stand up going on here.

Felt quite good about it all until I got my "what to expect at nine months" email from Mumsnet. Now paranoid that my ds doesn't understand when I ask him "where's teddy?".

Hope everyone else is OK (although am secretly hoping your children are not all genuiuses who can already point out a variety of different cuddly toys when asked).

lummox · 24/02/2006 20:12

or even spell geniuses

muma3 · 24/02/2006 21:18

is this what we are to expect from lo's?
my dd3 cant do this yet if this helps?
ill get worried know
not that i really care she is a perfert little thing if you ask me
ps. i havent had that email? just one about holidays caravaning this summer?
oh well

katzg · 25/02/2006 08:52

lummox - they all tend to excel in one area, DD2 might be able to take a few steps but she isn't clapping or sleeping well. One huge side effect of a very active child, they burn to much energy and need extra at night!

katz - doe that maen your dd can point to her teddy when you ask?????

lummox · 25/02/2006 08:59

(sorry about the spelling am using a French keyboard with some of the letters in different places)

katzg · 25/02/2006 09:08

nope! she does point but at random things, basically she has worked out how to have one finger out and the othner curled up but doesn't know what it is! does that make sense!

We got our first sign last week which is really exciting. Dd signed "milk" when she was having her feed and when I did it back to her she stopped, did a huge grin and signed again. Now when I say it's time for milk, she signs and breakdances on the floor!

But still no rolling or moving of any kind - although she'll "dance" to music when sitting.

and those emails are only a guide so worry not folks!
