dh thats really not such a bad night though, D has plenty of nights like that.
!!!!Rant alert!!!!
I get really pissed off with DH sometimes, i delt with D all morning and lunch and then took him out after lunch to do a big shop and put him down for a nap after that, all so he could play his blessed game. So i suggested he take D out for a walk this afternoon as its bright and sunny here and the dog needs walking and after doing a big shop im knackered frankly. Its took me half an hour of cajoling and hinting before i had to say point blank come on get ur arse up and take them out!!!!! RAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! why are they so obtuse and awqward and lazy and selfish at times???? Its just harder work than it needs to be.
My Morrisons had almost doubles in size and everythings on the move whilst its sorting its self out so i did twice as much walking around when i was there BUT i did have a lovely sleep whilst D was down HOWEVER i woke up dead grumpy, and the above didnt make it much better.
mylife good that u sent W, he sounds happy enough there, glad u have some time to urself.
Trudy what was ur actual due date? and have u decided on names? mylife we just cant decide, latest is Clayton, what does anyone think of that?
chu we need to know!!!
Anyone doing anything nice at the weekend?

Spirael · 28/10/2011 16:40

Just to make you aware viksam, Clayton is the name of the bad guy in Disney's Tarzan film and a boss in the Kingdom Hearts PS2 game. He's a hunter that is a bit of an over-enthusiastic gun-bunny.

Not necessarily a deal breaker on the name, as it's not one of Disney's most popular films. But as an avid watcher of childrens films it is what I think of first when I hear the name.

DesperateHousewife21 · 28/10/2011 17:05

Theres a Clay in One Tree Hill and hes quite fit so I like the name lol.

viksam · 28/10/2011 18:09

Hahaha thats funny from you both. I like Clay but not sure on Clayton........i dont thing this child is going to have a name!

DesperateHousewife21 · 28/10/2011 19:19

To give you more ideas there is also a Chase, Marvin, Julian and Nathan.
Oh and Skillz but that's not a serious suggestion!

MyLifeIsStillChaotic · 28/10/2011 19:42

I think Clayton goes quite well with D's name, they've got a similar feel to them iykwim

Babyboy was ok at nursery but has only had 4oz at bedtime. Nursery told me ds1 had been 'a little monkey' today. Which is code for 'naughty' :( I blame teething wonder what made him act like that today? He was in his baby brother's room when I picked them up - he'd been asking for him, bless.

I know what you mean about your nap vik. I went back to bed at 8.30 when the boys were dropped off. I was woken by a delivery at the door (which dh answered) and then the phone ringing and I got up at 10.30 and felt positively shit all day.

viksam · 28/10/2011 20:49

Ahhhhhhhh mylife thats cute him asking for his brother. 4oz is ok isnt it, at least his nappy wont leak!!!!!!!!haha!! My tinker is very unsettled tonight, could be teeth too, hes had his fingers and anything else he can get in his mouth this afternoon.
The carpet is nice in the front bedroom but the bloody door is really stiff on it, my dad will sort it but they are not coming down till 10th and we want to put D in next weekend, might have to pay someone, bummer.
chu where are u?
cake hows A today?
dh not keen on any of those suprisingly!! I still like Flynn but my dh works with someone with that surname(tis popular!) and thinks they would take the pee.

MyLifeIsStillChaotic · 28/10/2011 20:54

Really? Confused I wouldn't take the pee!

viksam · 28/10/2011 21:07

Yeah but we are not blokes, i dont think we would take the pee out of a boy named Gabriel either but blokes would aparently.

MyLifeIsStillChaotic · 28/10/2011 21:33

Hmm some blokes would but not normal ones. I think Gabe is lovely, Gabriel was on the shortlist

I know dh wouldn't take the piss if someone used the name

DesperateHousewife21 · 28/10/2011 22:12

I think blokes are more likely to take the pee out of names, esp if they've never met the mum/ baby.

D has woken up twice already since going to bed at 8. Both times he went back to sleep instantly on his own once I laid him down so that's good but there must be something that's waking him up in the first place.

CakeandRoses · 28/10/2011 22:39

what.a.day.

thankfully, she kept down her last bf (the only thing she's kept down all day) and has slept all evening.

thanks, woodlands for what you said about bm. i knew that but needed to hear it as it seemed mad to make her sick iyswim but i feel better for knowing she's probably benefitted from the bits of milk that have prob stayed down during the day.

vik i like clay and like mlic said, it goes well with D's name.

how's baby boy now mlic?

just watched the film blind side with sandra bullock. was good tho a tad cheesy and rather emotional. the weird thing is - sandra's part in the film has the exact same personality as me - the way she talks to her dh and children and everything. and then during the film it turns out she's an interior designer and is obsessed with 'her colours' like i am. twas freaky. dh said after - bloody hell, she was exactly like you Confused it's based on a true story so that means there's a cake in america!

MelissaM · 28/10/2011 22:39

Hi ladies. I'm back. Been such a busy stressy few weeks since dh broke his collar bone. 9 wks and still not able to drive or go back to work :( Had it operated on 2 wks ago - not hugely successful but fragments of bone were removed and part that was sticking up. He's in a lot less pain finally and Eas able to do more within 2 days of the op than he'd done in 7 wks

Soonds like lots of unsettled evenings all round. L took 2 hrs to settle tonight. He is generally doing much better since his gromits op though.

Hope the rest of the night is quiet

:( We're supposed to be at a child free wedding at 1pm.

Toddlerboy was up at 5.30am being sick and then at 7.30am.

Don't know what the hell to do :(

MyLifeIsStillChaotic · 29/10/2011 07:28

Appernently my post means I have him being sick in the future, 7 minutes after I posted Hmm Confused

I meant 7am. He has been pestering me for milk but I have just given him water, but he was sobbing for some fruit the strange child so I've just given him it and passed him a bowl to be sick in if needs be.

Feel a little queasy myself tbh :(

WhatSheSaid · 29/10/2011 07:43

Who's meant to be having them while you're at the wedding mlisc?

MyLifeIsStillChaotic · 29/10/2011 08:06

My friend (babyboy's Godmother)

He seems ok atm, just quiet and flopped on the couch

CakeandRoses · 29/10/2011 08:08

yikes mlic. is it a close friend/family's wedding?

DesperateHousewife21 · 29/10/2011 08:17

Same here mlisc! D woke up at midnight covered in sick and didn't go back to sleep for an hour an a half in which time he was sick again.

He woke at 6 and came in our bed, woke at 8 and was then sick all over out bed and himself. We don't know what he eaten to mLe him sick bit must have been something at dinner.

WhatSheSaid · 29/10/2011 08:49

How far away is the wedding, could you get back reasonably quickly if neccesary?

I think you'll have to play it by ear for the morning, some kids vomit and are right as rain an hour later (as I'm sure you know). If he wants to eat that's a good sign - if they're really sick they lose their appetite I always think.

MyLifeIsStillChaotic · 29/10/2011 08:52

It's just as likely/more likely to be a bug as something he ate dh, there's so much going around at the moment. Makes it more likely that babyboy had a bug, rather than / on top of teething when he was off colour yesterday. Thankfully he is a lot happier today and causing mischief by scattering dog food as usual

It's a friend of mine's wedding, who used to be my boss for 5 years, and she now works for dh. So it's not the end of the world if we don't go, but she would be v disappointed.

I'm just going to decide at the last minute. My friend who is having them was on nights last night anyway so will be in bed until 11am when I said I'd drop them off, so there's no point deciding until then really.

He keeps saying he feels sick, that he has sick in tummy, but he is managing to keep the toast he's eating down

MyLifeIsStillChaotic · 29/10/2011 08:53

x post wss, it's about a 40 minute drive.

viksam · 29/10/2011 09:05

OMG never known so many sickly babies on here all at once, it must me a virus its too coincidental. I didnt give D anything much for 24 hrs after he was sick the second time within a week after his bout of lots of sickness, made that mistake the first time. dh it might not be anything he ate he just might have this bug. Just make sure they are well hydrated and dont worry too much about food for as long as you can, and even then just something really bland. I feel like a bloody expert given that D has had THREE bouts of vomiting within the last 6 weeks! mylife unless he is crying for u and feeling activly poorly iyswim id go, but it would depend on how far away it is and how worried you might be, would it spoil your day.
D was up in the night for over an hour and woke at 6.30am, dh got up with him this morning though. I put the night waking down to there molars, i can feel slight spikes through the bottom gum on the one side and the other side feels so swollen, poor boy.

DesperateHousewife21 · 29/10/2011 09:15

Hes having sips of water and eating plain toast atm.

He's really chirpy otherwise though, doesn't seem I'll iykwim. That's why I thought it was his dinner as it came on a few hours after and that's all he's sicked up.

I hope it's not a bug, if it is he prob picked it up at the indoor soft play I went to yesterday.
