Dd3 spent most the day asleep or feeding. Thrown up a few times but from gagging rather than I'll IYSWIM. Going ahead with the party as we hope the meds will have kicked in enough tomorrow

I am exhausted. Been wrapping all his presents, and eating decorating the cake, tidying and preparing the spare room - took ages! All I have to do tomorrow is get the helium balloons, and we are done. M has been loads of fun today, into everything. ILs arriving tomorrow, very early.

NoHun, thanks for the nappy advice. Ds was a once a day boy too. Soooo much easier. They had the same diet pretty much so clearly she's just a poo monster. I think I might start trying the potty for dd. She's coming on in leaps and bounds with movement now. Today I went to creche to do the forms and let her see the place. It was back to the baby room where ds started and I felt very emotional, partly of course because of the thought of leaving her there but also stirring up loads of memories of him at the same age. I can't quite believe I'm back in work Tuesday and having to leave her for eight hours. You'd never think I'd done this once before.

Well I can't believe I was on the beach a few days ago. Brrr all of a sudden. Bizarre weather.

One of the mums I've known since ds was little, who has a daughter his age in his class and another about 2.5 ish has just told us she is pregnant again - with twins! Bit of a shock I think. They are identical so they will either end up with four daughters or two of each. There we go NoHun, it's your dream scenario .

No worries, flooz hope you are enjoying the cloth. I love using pretty cloth nappies. :) DS is going through a phase of fighting the potty, the little scamp! I thought we had is sussed. No pressure at all, we just go with the flow.

Hope you both get used to DD being at nursery.

Oh wow, yeah, twins, I just dream of that happening. I did some research and i have age in my favour (oldness slightly increases my chances!) but they say meat-eaters are more likely to have twins than vegetarians/vegans, so that's decreased my chances.

Dd3 is a lot brighter this am. Going off to play & not clinging. Temp has gone for now so that's a big help for her

Had a letter from our former landlords, they say they're going to charge us for redocrating walls as they were (in their opinion) dirty. Now I know there were some marks, but when they talk about decorating two rooms that sounds blinking expensive. Not happy!! What counts as resonable wear and tear.

We are cake decorating whilst everyone sleeps, before dd first birthday party this afternoon-where did the time go?!!

Birthday party went much better than I thought, hyper ones didn't wreck the house. No one cried ! Dd3 even played with her friend. She's much better today but asleep now.

Trib, that really sucks. What are you going to do? Contend it?

Sea, you like to cut it fine re cake-decorating? Hope it turned out well. I am pleased with my cakey efforts, and glad I got it done so I can relax now!

We have had a nice day going to a lake/park with the families. They are coming over for his birthday tomorrow for aforementioned cake. We aren't making a big fuss, will just be his grandparents, two uncles and us.

I was about so many of the group disappearing, it also made me well up a little when I saw ILGH started the thread. I was being abit soppy though as I was reading dd's birth announcement

trib are you on twitter? @mummybarrow is very good on landlord/estate agent problems. She helped me with our selling last year.

Happy birthday Hun's ds. Hope you've had a lovely day. Happy birthday to Sea's dd too - when is her actual birthday? I'm still waiting for the nappies to arrive.

Dd is having a bit of a nightmare with a cough and teething I think at night. Last night she was crying pretty much non-stop for an hour and a half, and really screaming at times. she needed both paracetamol and ibuprofen. She's coughing again now and crying on and off - I fear i may be in for it again tonight... better go.

We had a marvellous day, took hundreds and hundreds of photos - can't wait to go through them all. Be prepared for a Fb mammoth upload! :) Shame he bashed his face on the Saturday and gave himself a nasty bruise/graze under his eye, but such is the life of a toddler.
