40Weeks Owen is challenging, come pull up a chair beside me, want some , whenever I tell Olivia she can't do something, she cries, cries with no tears some more, stomps about a bit, huffs on the stairs and one more than one occasion I've heard "I don't love you, you're a bad mummy" Afraid she gets a look, a "yes you do" and ignored but its vvvvvv difficult.

Mr W and I decided to watch The Girl who played with Fire tonight, been meaning to for ages, I read the books, I enjoyed it but Olivia woke up crying about 30 mins ago, threw up, thankfully I have them trained to make into the bathroom before opening their mouth , so Mr W cleaned her carpet, changed the quilt, I bathed her, cleaned the toilet and she's sound asleep. I'm taping (God how old am I!!) the Lovely Bones to watch later in the week when he is working nights.

Hope we all have good nights, Anna is doing ok, still wakening up for a feed around 2-3am.

Hi ladies,

I'm back from holiday, had a lovely time. Managed to have a few successful lunches out which is new for us (two with C sat in buggy being spoon/bottlefed, and one which she slept through entirely!), a trip on a steam train, lots of walks, and really everything was fine. Only slight hitch was that C kept waking in the night as we were in a caravan and rain was really noisy plus seagulls! She didn't cry and we didn't get up for her, she drifted back off eventually, but we were awake, and didn't get back to sleep as well!

Feel strangely about being on my own with C again today. It's ridiculous, I know I can do this, but having had DH all day every day for a week, it feels a bit weird. Hoping C obliges with a nice day. At the mo she is playing nicely on her mat so...so far so good.

Got her a jumperoo which she loves, she doesn't jump in it yet but turns around and plays with the bits and bobs.

40Weeks Film was good, I read all the books last year and really enjoyed them. I have a list a mile long of films I want to see but can't get around to watching Owen and Olivia sounds lovely, they can live near you, go on I insist

Olivia is fine this morning, although a bit gurny,emotional - Sofia has a slight temperature, Mr W has a dodgy tummy and I phoned my Mum this morning and my dad is in bed sick , so looks like there is a bit of a bug sweeping round the Wiggles house!!

Oh got Anna weighed this morning for the first time in months - 17lbs 1.

deliaskis meant to say glad you had a great holiday, its lovely when you can go out and feed them in their buggy while you have lunch. Hope today goes well and don't worry if it doesn't ,its a bit daunting when you get used to having someone else there even just to talk to and then they go back to work!

delia glad you had fun away, lunches out... Sounds good to me! If it's any consolation, I live by the sea and have to put up with seagulls every single day! Back to normality now, hope C is being kind to mummy and letting you readjust.

B had sweet potato for dinner tonight and I think some actually made it into his mouth, just had a mammoth bath session to get it out of nose and eyebrows then had to tackle the highchair. Seriously considering feeding in the bath now Hes been so good today, napped at the right times and in his cot and straight to sleep tonight, I'm due for a really awful time tomorrow aren't I?

Had brilliant night last night, 2.30 feed and up at 7.15!!! She CAN do it! Bet she doesn't deign to repeat it though...

J has slept lots today, but also cried lots. I think a tooth is about to make an appearance, as her poor gum is looking v battered and bruised : ( I also made an effort to meet some RL mummies, and went on a netmums (oh yes) meet-a-mum date. Was very pleasant.

Nate has been a wee sod with his sleep past few days after being so good fir weeks & going thru til7/8am...been waking at 5.39am from Friday...& was awake at 2am,3.30am & then from 6am onwards....grrr! Felt like newborn stage all over again! He's been fussing with his feeds I think due to his teeth....loaded him up today with more milk so hoping he'll be good tonight,fingers crossed!

I'm not sure if everyone gets this leaflet but the HVs at the weighing room today had them - its the Public Health Agency weaning leaflet. I used it with Sofia and I found it really helpful, I was a bit lost re weaning and found it useful to have something in my hand to help - what food to try and when etc. Its on their website, I can't do a link as I am very old IT illiterate

needto I can assure you I was far from super glam at the party of the decade mums party - more just a case of a semi matching outfit and a bit of blusher .

Twas pretty hot here today.

Story of the day was we had a mental pigeon in our garden that flew into the window twice and then took a run at flying at me when I popped out to put the washing out - I'm quite scared of birds and so let out the loudest scream ever when this big pigeon was flying straight at me. I was then too scared to walk back to the back door without dh shielding me from the pigeon . I have taken my upset out with a big game of angry birds this evening

Hello all. Yay to parties, cakes, concerts, camping and social lives! Hope all dreaded lurgies go away soon. Great photos too. I keep meaning to put some up but am always on the wrong computer.

We also went camping on Saturday night at a campsite with no water! It was great. A & E got to roam around the woods finding caterpillars with other kids, dh was not working for a change and Sammy slept till 6am! He didn't sleep quite so well last night, obviously, lol.

We are also still on milk only and he is still a monster! Speaking of which, he wants to feed again now. Wishing you all peaceful nights!
