Was hoping a positive title might bring us some good luck Hmm

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
reastie · 29/06/2011 10:08

oh 40 what were you on for? Hmm and more importantly, where can I track it down to see it? Grin

40Weeks · 29/06/2011 10:18

I was on at 8.38 approx, talking bout when we got asked to leave a restaurant cos of M's crying - they asked me, I didn't volunteer but got in touch via a phone in my sister did. I also did a bit on BBC kent, should be able catch up on iplayer. BBC Kent was on matt someones show at 9.05

wiggles tell Mr W that Bill and Sian didn't disappoint, they couldn't have been nicer!

wigglesrock · 29/06/2011 10:20

40 Don't think they mentioned you were a MNetter. Mr W recognised the story from my whitterings on, and he noticed that Mikey was around the same age as Anna. Its funny I was in my Mums dropping Olivia off and my Mum saw baby on tv and said "isn't he beautiful?" but the sound was turned down. Compliment indeed, my mum usually refuses to comment on other peoples beautiful children, in case it pisses off mine Grin

To all the other stalkers think you may be able to see bits of todays show on BBC News online but don't think this mornings show is up yet, yes I've already checked Blush. Yah for 40Weeks and Mikey - he is absolutely gorgeous x

Four4me · 29/06/2011 11:18

Wow 40 a celeb amongst the fab feb girls. Well done you o and little Mikey.

Very excited just heard from the milk bank. I need a blood test (which they post a kit, my practice nurse does and i post back all postage paid) and have answered some lifestyle and health questions. She is calling me again tomorrow to arrange collection as I am on the outer limits of their collection area. Yippee. I have added up all the quantities of frozen bm and there is 10 pints in my freezer! Omg. Talk about dairy farming.

reastie · 29/06/2011 12:17

flippin 'eck 40 why didn't you tell us so we could stalk you watch it live Grin (think I just answered my own question Shock ). was mikey well behaved? Oh - and was sian really really tiny and skinny in rl? (she looks like she would be iykwim). What did you do with the other boys this morning?

44 that milk bank comment really made me Grin btw - I read on their site you can't donate if you've had any medication in the previous 24 hrs or so before expressing - were you told this? Just if that's the case I'd be no good as I'm always on nurofen for me headaches Hmm

well, jabs done - she really screamed this time, much more than before :( has been sleeping since. coil apt cancelled as swab results not back [quietly relieved]

americanexpat · 29/06/2011 12:53

I had been watching Breakfast but turned it off to have a nap get L to sleep! Definitely would've left it on if I'd known. Surely a better stalker than me can post a link if it's online?

reastie · 29/06/2011 13:07

just found it www.bbc.co.uk/news/12550706 not watched yet - just off to Grin

reastie · 29/06/2011 13:14

40Weeks · 29/06/2011 13:20

Oh thank you reastie you are my hero as I set the wrong date for sky+ and have been trying to track it down all morning! I wad tempted to tell you all but then was a bit terrified in case I made an arse of myself! Hopefully I didn't Grin

reastie · 29/06/2011 13:23

debka · 29/06/2011 13:31

40weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeekkkkkkkkkkkkkkkssssssssssssssssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

40Weeks · 29/06/2011 13:54

Thanks, it was so much fun! Now back to RL and have to make a lamb casserole....boooo

ledkr · 29/06/2011 14:11

Wow 40. how did you get that gig? Well done.
Mr wiggles should be in cid he's a fab detective.
chocco glad you enjoyed it. Idris is much more fanciable in Luther than the wire, but then i didnt like Stringer Bell. Dh asked me if i fancied him and i simply replied that id like to him Grin blame it on the pnd or pmt.

Just got d to sleep have an hr to clear up and sew on ribbons.

I went to poundland and bought all there weight watchers crisps and cakes, haha. Save me depriving myself.

Emski76 · 29/06/2011 14:28

Aaaahhhh 40 weeks!! Your famous, and I know you (kind of). You handled yourself brilliantly, and Mikey was fantastic and very cute!
Well done to Mr Wiggles for working out who it was, very good detective work.
Ledkr, I have to admit that I have a wee soft spot for Idris, very handsome and just a little bit naughty!
Have had a quick read through of all the posts, and cannot clear head for long enough to comment on all.
My grampy, on my mums side, has been in a home due to dementia since January, and on Sunday he had a massive heart attack and died, but the nurses at the home worked on him for 15 minutes and he's now in hospital unconscious, barely breathing with severe brain damage due to the lack of oxygen to his brain. My mum is understandably devestated and when I visited her this morning, she broke down and I had to almost carry her from the kitchen to the living room to sit her down. I haven't spoken to either my grampy or my nan for a few years as my nan is not a very nice person and has been quite nasty to me, my sis and my mum so I won't be visiting him in hospital. Just not sleeping well as he and my mum are on my mind all the time. The doctors think its a matter of days, and we're all thinking he will wait until tomorrow which would be his 89th birthday.
Sorry, just had to blurt it all out to someone, dh isn't very good at the moment as work is very stressful and don't want to burden him. I just feel so guilty that I can't go to see him and am hoping that he knows how much I love him.....
And breathe.....On the plus side I have tried Noah in his walker and he loves it! Sits with hands on his knees looking around!

byronicheroine · 29/06/2011 14:31

Wow 40 how exciting - even more excited cos I could watch it (normal iplayer stuff we can't get here) Grin you were great and Mikey is lovely.
choc glad you had fun but still a bit Envy I was offered tickets but couldn't go due to baby and us visiting the UK in Aug. boo
ledkr :o at the ww crisps - does that work? Enjoy them - I tried level 2 of the shred and almost DIED - pulled a muscle somewhere in my groin and haven't been able to walk for about 3 days. Tis a bit better today. Be warned! It's also too too hot here so I might start it again in October.....
Anyway, reports in from the front line - not much yet, although the centre looks pretty mental. They are voting at the moment so I'll let you know if we are to be plunged into fiscal ruins or not.... Anyone know of any jobs/houses in the UK? Might be on a flight soon :o
DP isn't at work today at all, meetings cancelled so no chauffeuring necessary. He is having a nap siesta and I am making croissants (looks to reastie for brownie points). Dunno why, just had a random craving! And no, I'm definitely not preggers

byronicheroine · 29/06/2011 14:33

X post emski gosh, are you ok? Sit down and have a nice cuppa (or a Wine )
so sorry, what a horrible situation for you. Sounds very dramatic. Sympathies to you and your family
Hugs

reastie · 29/06/2011 14:49

ems :( what alot to deal with. I hope you're OK over there. Come on here to vent as much as you want - we are all here for you. x

byron big brownie points for home made croissants. Did you make them from scratch? Think I only attempted that once and they didn't work out v well. I've got a croissant setting on my bread maker I keep meaning to try though Grin

40 you are the celeb one from the thread now Grin

I have no idea who this idris is everyone speaks of Hmm

debka · 29/06/2011 15:00

reastie I don't know what they're on about either!

emski that's hard, but it sounds like it'll be a release when he does go. I'll be thinking of you.

byronic making croissants during riots... fiddling whilst Rome burns... Grin

wigglesrock · 29/06/2011 15:02

reastie You don't know who Idris Elba is Shock Sex on a stick is who he is Grin. It doesn't matter that you don't know, you provided a link to 40Weeks moment of fame, you're forgiven, thanks.

40Weeks You spoke really well, I would have been a sweaty, bumbling fool, punctuating my speech with lots of you knows Grin By the way your top was gorgeous and so was Mikeys' blankie, shallow moi? Grin

emski Hope you're ok and your mum manages to get through the next few days, my granny (dads' mum) is 99 and she has been in a home for 3 years now with dementia. Its very difficult for my dad, as he's the only one here (all his brothers and sisters live in England, Dublin), he went last week to see her and she broke down crying, berating him for "putting her away", asking what she had done for him to hate her etc Sad, he was heartbroken, then he went the next day and she was fine, asking about the girls, talking about the weather etc.

Bit panicky now as had no idea Mr W kept an ear out to my witterings and actually remembered some of them Grin Desperately trying to think if I have mentioned any of the "dodgier" MN topics whilst thinking he was doing something else Grin

reastie · 29/06/2011 15:10

ok, i googled idris and i can appreciate his handsome-ness and did drool slightly at a topless shot i spotted and ogled . much nicer than the mr penelope cruz everyone here seems to like except me. i could make some joke here about much preferring paul mccartney but I fear you might all think i'm serious after the last confusion Confused Shock Wink

wiggles gran in law sounds like yourgranny re: dementia/in home - mil finds it all really hard to deal with.

40 agree with wiggles - I would have been murmering and umming and erring in alot - you didn't look nervous at all Grin

wigglesrock · 29/06/2011 15:19

reastie You mentioned Idris and Javier in the same sentence, I might need to take a few moments to recover from that mental image Grin

byron also snurking at your pulled groin, you sure you and dp haven't been having been having one too many siestas Wink

byronicheroine · 29/06/2011 15:24

Here you go, reastie it worked for me :)
www.wikihow.com/Make-Croissants

byronicheroine · 29/06/2011 15:24

www.wikihow.com/Make-Croissants

wigglesrock · 29/06/2011 15:28

byronicheroine have now snorted tea all over the computer Grin

Right, time to pretend to do some house cleaning type stuff, now that I have realised Mr W takes more than a passing notice of things I say or do Grin

ILovePonyo · 29/06/2011 16:01
