i have a question about dungarees....

what are you putting underneath them atm? i normally put Linus in a long-sleeved vest but it seems a bit cold for just the one layer
but if i put an ordinary top underneath it gets all hitched up and horrible...

gossifairyonthexmastree · 15/12/2005 21:04

sl , these days leon either has a short sleeved vest and then a long sleeved vest,
or when i'm feeling funky, a long sleeved white vest with a colourful t-shirt over

SnowmAngeliz · 15/12/2005 21:04

When Amelia is in dungarees i put a sleeveless vest and long sleeve vest and tights at the moment, trussed up like a Turkey

pjsmum · 15/12/2005 21:06

SA- thought it was just me that was broody! DP wants 'loads' more! He asked me this afternoon not to bother going for depo injection on Monday. Might think about it. If i put pic on members profiles can you take them off?

SnowmAngeliz · 15/12/2005 21:07

pjsmum · 15/12/2005 21:18

gossifairyonthexmastree · 15/12/2005 21:22

HAZELLNUTsroastingonanopenfire · 15/12/2005 21:26

here's a better view of the dress

dress

gossifairyonthexmastree · 15/12/2005 21:29

it's fantastic
at the lack of dress buying in our house

HAZELLNUTsroastingonanopenfire · 15/12/2005 21:29

maybe next year eh ?!

gossifairyonthexmastree · 15/12/2005 21:30

oh no, i'm convinced i'm gonna end up with 3 boys and then think.....maybe just one more..........

gossifairyonthexmastree · 15/12/2005 21:32

and by that time if it's a girl she will have a ridiculous wardrobe of girly clothes due to lack of anything like that in my childhood and all the dungarees in my dss'!!!

HAZELLNUTsroastingonanopenfire · 15/12/2005 21:34

... well I wouldn't mind a boy and will rpobably end up having all girls so we can always swap

Was at the work Xmas night last night (not busy trying for another baby!!!!) so missed all the piccies too. We really must do some kind of feb baby photo store.

Tipex - how's the hair??? Dd definitely needing less daytime sleep & quite often just has the one nap now. She's starting to cruise - it's so scary to watch her wobbling around looking precarious. She seems to think it's a great laugh!

Hope all the spotty babies are getting better. Chicken pox has hit the nursery now so reckon it's just a matter of time before dd gets it one way or another!

Had a bit of a scare earlier in the week as my mum had a riding accident and the horse rolled on her but she's not as badly hurt as she could have been - cracked ribs, broken leg (but only the fibula so not too bad) and lots of stitches in her hands . She says it's a great reason to sit around drinking gin at Xmas and me & my sisters can do the cooking!!

helloooo !

Sorry to hear about your mum Nik, but as she says - a great excuse to lounge around at christmas !! Hope she's not in too much pain.

DD also either has one nap now or 2 short ones - sometimes only has half hour sleep during the day so guess they are needing less now (which means even LESS gets done round the house during the day !! Any excuse ).

DD has stood a few times today without holding on to anything (until she realises and then she sits down !!). Its all very exciting at the mo isn't it.... We have finally put our tree up. Bought a little one to go on a table. Being too sentimental we got one in a pot to keep as its Anna's first christmas. However, we've had to put a table cloth on the table it is on as it is an old garden one and Anna has already tried to pull this off a few times so not sure it will last christmas !!! Am now getting v. festive - dh was working on something that looked like it might really stuff up our christmas but it has fallen through so its great - he's around all weekend and will take some time off next week as well as between chrsitmas and new year so we can really celebrate Anna's first christmas

Tipex, may mate is a hairdresser, she did mine today. I could ask her if you'd like what you could do. had a weird day of it with dd. At nursery yesterday she had refused all milk (usually has 2 9oz bottles) She has never don ethat before. got her home gave her her usual bedtime bottle downed without coming up for breath and screamed for more, me running about likea loon trying to get another one done asap. She took 17oz last night!! Today woke at 6.15 back in bed by 7 up at 8 back in bed by 8.40 slept til 11 up til 1, stayed up til 8.30 tonight and has only just stopped babbling to herself and gone to sleep. Weird. Hope th epoorly ones are on the mend

followthestarlover · 19/12/2005 20:41

oooh no posts since saturday? goodness... where are you all?
have just got in from late shift at work... trying to save some pennies for house!

tipex.. how is the hair now? have you got it sorted yet?

hurrah for all the standing/cruising babies... it's very scary when they first start isn't it?

Linus is MUCH, MUCH better today... we're getting tooth number 2 through i think, but he is defintiely happier... and most of the spots are gone! hurrah

pjsmum · 19/12/2005 21:09

Hello, blimey its been quiet on here. Glad to hear that Linus is better. We had a horrible day yesterday, teething, Crying, clinging. better today but not 100%. Did the same today, no milk all day and then took 15oz before bed. Very bizarre. Very excited my bro's girlfriend is pregnant-due June and my best mate- due august. Really pleased for them both!
