DD slept till 6.45 this morning went to bed at 7.30! And we are at my dads so she is in a travel cot oh please be the start of things to come! Who am i kidding Hope things are well with everyone else

fingers crossed he is better. Didn't wake until 7 this morning (v rare!) despite having watered down milk last night. He was a bit grumpy until breakfast but then happy after food so maybe just hungry. Going to keep him on bland food today.

aww, cuddles for poorly babies! they all seem to have it! hope they're feeling better v soon.

better get myself sorted for the day, out to lunch in a bit with mums & babes (& still in pjs!)

Glad ds is on the mend futurity !!

Snufflepuss is also unwell so has had to pull out of the meal tomorrow so have suggested we all check in tonight to say whether we think you'll still be able to make it. Hope everyone will be better though (and not just cos of the meet up !).

taking advantage of the incredible long morning sleep that leon is having to do housework/wrap pressies/cook/ be domestic goddess! it's so good to be feeling better again after my weeks of flu, evening contemplating mince pies until i realised i haven't got a pie baking tray

oooh, and ocado just delivered and one of the cans of cider was broken and dripping everywhere so the delivery man knocked off all the booze from the bill!!!!

will check in tonight hazellnut, leon still has a temp and and awful runny nose/cough and is v.clingy, but we really want to come, might have to see how he is in the morning

well, leon has not eaten all day really, a few spoons of yoghurt and a suck on a fig,and had his last bit of milk at 10am, cannot even get him to take water - help!
any advice, we've tried all sorts of food and milk/water from a cup, beaker, bottle
the only thing that has stopped me going back to the docs is his temperature is back down again
hope everyone is ok

Poor Leon Goss ...... Don't know what to advise really other than keep offering him drinks. Good his temp has gone down though....

changed his nappy about hour ago and it was a bit wet, nothing like a normal one, and no poohs today
have been offereing him milk and water
he's clingy and crying one moment and happy and playing the next
do you think i should worry at this stage?

actually what happens when we offer milk/water in a bottle is he goes to suck, does for 2 seconds and then pulls off, and keeps repeating it until he gets upset
could it be a sorethroat/blocked nose?

we've been dosing with nurofen and getting plenty of fluids into him! seems better today... so we're still definitely on for the meet-up!

goss.. have you tried giving him something really cold? to numb it a bit?

Well DS1 has got the bug now and is throwing up for England...he's gone to sleep at last but not sure for how long. Bless him...never seen him look so pale

Sorry to hear about all the poorly babies. Hope they are better soon. To all meeting up tomorrow have a good time. Just spent the day with parents (who are divorced) who both tried to out do each other in giving dd attention! Feel shattered having had to keep the peace all day!

yes! he will be wearing his new shoes! lol

i don't think i am going to bring the i'coo.. what with getting on and off train.. so will be terribly boring little buggy for us

it was so lovely to meet everyone and put some faces to some names!
we have a great time, Linus also zonked out on train home.... full of beans now and shouting to me from his cot! lol

we mostly talked about everyone who didn't come and how awful they all are

Linus was very bad and got banished under the table after his dinner... where he proceeded to polish off everything that had fallen on the floor.

I would have won best footmuff award had I had the i'coo with me. Unfortunately Linus was super-interested in the zapps!

leon slept from 11.30am-4.30pm! what was that all about? still has a bit of a temp and not eating, but taking a small amount of milk, so on the mend... dp trying to feed him and put him down now
i hate cancelling, have been doing it so much recently, with leon being ill, then me, now him again, didn't go to the family xmas party in wales last weekend because i was too ill
anyways, how are all the poorly ones? hope they're feeling better?

mind you, maybe we'll all have to say what we think people look like???

All the babies were marvellously well behaved I think (until they all got a bit fed up of sitting in high chairs and being awake !!). We left the restaurant in a bit of a mess with menus/cutlery/food all over the floor but the waiters were very nice about it !!

I have photos but have promised not to put them on here so can email to anyone who wants to have a nosey.... I think I have email addresses for Starlover, Nik, Goss, Tipex - I must have the one the CAT came from but think you said that wasn't yours so let me know if you want them sending... or if anyone is clever enough to set up one of those yahoo group site things I can put them on there....

tbh i didn't really have much of a picture in my head of what people would look like... although for some reason i thought nik would be dark haired!

oh and sorry to hear about your ds being ill now Tipex - it really is the season to be sniffley . Glad Leon seems to be on the mend goss...
