26?? Good God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I work in a very civilised practice I think.

Poor you with the cold - you should still have that glass of wine, though - purely for medicinal purposes .

Angeliz · 30/11/2005 20:17

gossifer are you me?

I walk from room to room looking at all the shite, i swear i sometimes spend all day JUST moving things around! I am forvever saying to dp, i'm sick of living in a shithole! (scuse me language) I think it's harder cause i had it spotless when i was pregnant and dd1 started School and i had lots of time. time? time? time?

What the Hell is that??

Last year i was SnowmAngeliz, shaLL I STICK AT THAT?

aM TRYING TO THINK OF A REALLY CLEVER ONE FOR YOU tIPEX.

Angeliz · 30/11/2005 20:17

OOOOPPS!

nik72 · 30/11/2005 20:22

Snowmangeliz was good! Gosh - was it a year ago? We were big & uncomfortable and unable to have the usual christmas booze fest. All change this year (all the TTC coming to nothing, as you might tell....oh well, there's always wine!)

Looking forward to christmas, all the lights are on in the city centre - it looks beautiful!

Angeliz · 30/11/2005 20:25

TTC, did i miss that?
Are you trying again Nik?

Hazellnut · 30/11/2005 20:27

ooh are you TTC Nik ? Did I miss that ?? How exciting !

I drove past the hospital earlier today and thought - this time last year we were fraught with worry about dd and there she was today babbling in the back .... mind you, I suspect we might think about ttc at some point next year (not right away though) and suddenly the thought soon it will 'this year' fills me with a mixture of excitement and dread .....

SnowmAngeliz WAS/IS good....

nik72 · 30/11/2005 20:27

Yup - but not holding my breath as took nearly 4 years first time around (unlike certain ultra-fertile sisters who SNIFF thier DH and fall preggers .

Funnily enough, am finding a 9 month old baby a fairly effective contraceptive - can't think why......

Hazellnut · 30/11/2005 20:28

Well good luck - guess 9 month old baby and dh (and you ?) that work funny hours can't be too conducive

Angeliz · 30/11/2005 20:33

Oh yes Good luck+

I want another one but last month i though i might be and got terrified!1 I wasn't but it's made me think twice.
I really do want another 2 at least i think though so i'm definately not done yet.
It took us quite a few months with dd2 to conceive which suprised me, i just thought if i'm not careful that'll be it.
Best laid plans and all that (Pardon the pun in there )

I am constantly working out if i had one NOW i'd need, double buggy.........ect.
My main concern is fitting in all the social things aswell and not having dd1 left out.
She's Mary in the School play on Friday

SnowmAngeliz it will be again then

nik72 · 30/11/2005 20:35

Aww, bless Angeliz, bet she'll make a lovely Mary and bring a tear to your eye .

SnowmAngeliz · 30/11/2005 20:36

Has anyone moved into big forward facing car seats yet?

dd1 has been in the Brittax Eclipse for a few years and i've just got her a bigger booster seat.
I cleaned her Brittax (BLEARGH!!!! the crumbs) and adjusted the straps and dd2 fits snug and neat, she can sit unaided for half an hour (i think that's the test) but she not 9kg's which it says on the side yet!

SnowmAngeliz · 30/11/2005 20:38

hee hee Nik, you should see her. She gets really angry with ME when she's shy. All through her harvest festival she was giving me daggers. I didn't know where to look and i could see other people smirking.

gossifer · 30/11/2005 21:04

ooooh nik, didn't know you were TTC! good luck, will cross my fingers for you - next year for us i think

angeliz hi! good to hear from you! leon has been in the forward facing seat for a while now, je loves it (just not being put in it)

so leon has just popped off to sleep, maybe we are getting somewhere with this

nik72 · 01/12/2005 09:28

morning all!

Do you reckon 9 month olds can have nightmares? Dd woke up last night screaming - like she was terrified or in pain. Went belting into her room & she settled as soon as I pickedher up and went back to sleep after a long cuddle. She's not really herself this morning, all clingy and has just fallen asleep on my lap. Hmm, maybe more teeth.

Hazellnut - would it be ok if I CAT you sometime to exchange mobile numbers for the meet - staying with MIL next week so won't be online much. Ta.

HAZELLNUTsroastingonanopenfire · 01/12/2005 09:44

Morning All - Have you forgotten something SainNik and Gossifairyonthexmastree ??

Happy December everyone !! Let the festivities commence (have had first chocolate square from dd's advent calendar ... I did get her to open it with a bit of help and I gave her a tiny tiny slither !!)

Of course CAT me for mobile number exchange Nik - meant to say if anyone else wants to in case of getting lost feel free to do so. Have to confess I haven't booked a table yet - everytime I think about it, its mid lunchtime so I think they wouldn't appreciate it. I will do it today.

HAZELLNUTsroastingonanopenfire · 01/12/2005 09:45

oops sorry Gossifer's message was last night not 9 this morning so ignore the christmas name nag !!

futurity · 01/12/2005 09:54

Haven't got a xmas name yet...FestiveFuturity I suppose unless anyone else got better idea?

Not feeling too festive at the moment as most probably having my 16 year old cat put down this afternoon...already got a thread on this so I won't go into details again but feeling kinda

HAZELLNUTsroastingonanopenfire · 01/12/2005 09:54

oh and I do think babies can have bad dreams Nik - poor dd ... mind you dd was screaming last night and would NOT settle so after an hour she ended up back in our bed. Can't work out what causes it as have 3 or 4 nights of her sleeping through (sorry to those this is but a dream !) and then suddenly wide awake. Possibly teeth I guess given she only has 2 so far......

HAZELLNUTsroastingonanopenfire · 01/12/2005 09:56

oh sorry to hear that futurity .

Will have a think about a festive name for when you are feeling more like it but Festivefuturity is good....

gossifairyonthexmastree · 01/12/2005 10:05

aha! it's so nice to have hazellnut keeping us in order!

oooh nik, i think they definately have dreams, poor thing!

futurity - i'm so sorry about your cat, must be a real old friend, maybe you should have an afternoon celebrating its life? (my aunt is v.fond of her cats and she did this recently),
will try and think of a name for you

still have flu here, boo hoo, so another day in, poor leon

saintnik · 01/12/2005 10:09

Whoops!

Sorry to hear about your poor cat, futurity. . Our family cat died last week at a similar great age, she was burmese and so friendly, she used to sit on your shoulders and wrap herself round your neck like a scarf.

Anyone putting up the decorations - am so tempted but might be better to wait till we're back from London. DD is going to love all the twinkly lights!

gossifairyonthexmastree · 01/12/2005 10:11

hazellnutsroasting on an openfire
just sent my first ever CAT to you!

gossifairyonthexmastree · 01/12/2005 10:14

fizzinglyfestivefuturity!

SnowmAngeliz · 01/12/2005 10:15

futurity that's so sad.
Hope you can spend the day with your cat+
