I agree tsc I never ever smoke at home or around L but when I have a drink I have one, but if the doc told me to give up I would, but when I was really ill and I came though nearly dying my doc said do you drink and smoke and I said yes, he said carry on if you want and enjoy your life so thats what I did but its only 10 every month or so.

My sister is a nurse and they will let inhalators into the hospital but would never allow an e cig into the ward, they are not safe like the inhalator not sure why but thats their rules.

I finally have my first and only niece!!! im so happy but my phone is knackered so I cant recieve a picture but apparently she has more hair than L has now!!! I have hair envy!!
L is fast asleep and dh is out on the bike, after a busy day in the garden I will be going for a bath shortly

I'm back smoking :( i'm a bit disgusted. about it but i do enjoy them. It might be only 1 or 2 a day and more when im out or stressed. Never inside the house though obviously.
E has been non stop climbing today and getting her fingers and feet caught everywhere and screaming then anf i was sure she had broke her fingers at one stage.
Whats the weather like in england? its bloody pelting it down here and its so depressing. Everyday is the same for the last weeks.

kk they called her Pixie, not to everyones taste but it apparently suits her. she os copming home tonight, they left sil needing stitches for over 2 hours!!! Its been strange weather here nice day but the odd shower usually when I want to go out for a bit! we still havent seen a pic of your car!!!

oh and I said to dh I want another baby and after the obvious you have to have sex to get a baby comment he said when we move in new year we can start I then panicked and said I was joking! I want L to be 3 ish when we have another but for that I will be pg for my 30th, so I have to try to fall before or after! but we are defo going to have another at some point!

Oh yes memph i forgot about that! will get into it. Need to work out how to get a pic from my phone into the group without posting it on my wall. I think that's a cool name! i wouldn't have the balls to call my own baby that but i love it! i'm the same i want E to be 3 or 4. Funny how you changed your mind! The next time though i definately want to be trying rather than an accident with a happy ending!

Just a quick update from me. My lovely cat is sleeping and purring on my right arm, so typing onehanded.

All okay at midwife appointment, heard racing baby heartbeat. So cute. Put on lots of weight though (me that is, not the baby)

M'sppointment went OK too. Talked to doc for over an hour. She reckons she can help with some fairy dust as DP says homeopathic remedy. Have to go back next week for analysis.

More tomorrow. Have a good eve all.

Great news on the appointmrnt trude. It's so reassuring hearing the heartbeat! hopefully this remedy will help. What does she think it is with M?
Aw poor little E mlic :(. what is waterbabies? Hopefully by the end if the week his confidence will pick up a bit.
E has already woken twice screaming. Poor little thing. She's teething and i think its the eye teeth. Calpoled and anbesoled her the first time she woke so hoping that's it for the night.

kk its pouring with rain here in the north if Scotland and its really cold. It was lovely last week so I don't know what has happened. We're going on holiday to devon a week on Friday so I'm hoping for good weather then.

Happy non birthday to me! I have had a bit of a poo day, working and such, day started bad, the only day in the year that i would have agreed to DH getting up with D but did he? Nooooooooooo........ but he did buy me some nice gifts later on so i wont hold it against him.
I have just told my sister about baby no 2, she was over the moon, which was nice.
Re the smoking discussion, giving up was the best thing i ever did, about 9 years ago now but it doesnt stop me from hankering after one, although i never have had. Personally i think going cold turkey is the only way, otherwise 1 or 2 a day turn into a treat and something to look forward to hence even more difficult to give up these 'treats'. Just my opinion.

Hope W's tongue better, mlic, that's what G did, she had cut on top of her tongue though. Is he eating and drinking OK? Poor boy. and poor E in the water.

I smoked for about 15 years. was down to 1 or 2 a day when I got pg with A, stopped then, found it much easier to stop once it involved someone else. I have had about 6 in the last 4 years on nights out - I agree once I've had a few drinks I crave one, but usually manage not to. Dh has given up about a million times but always started again.

I'm quite an ardent non-smoker now as in I hate the smell etc, especially around the dcs. We have had a friend staying with us for 4 weeks (whole other story), he smokes outside but stands on the front step with the door open - smokers really don't realise how much it smells. Not just ciggies either in his case (that he's smoking).

I should explain. I'm not down crying mil for still craving a fag, I'd have a cheek to. Like many of you, I gave up but still smoke when drinking or during a panic attack. What I don't understand with mil is the want to keep smoking even though she knows its killing her. She can just manage to get downstairs from bed but has to do 3 stairs then stop for the count of 8 even talking makes her breathless. Definitely not anti-smoking but won't have it near the kids. I read up on the e-cigarette but it didn't say if it was a nicotine replacement therapy as its not been studied enough.

J's prom was fab pics on fb, still more to be added a girl in the limo took loads of pics and her mum put them on a disk for us. Sports awards tomorro, he's getting his footy trophy.

Just looked at your pics stac your boy looks very handsome in his kilt.

Bit worried about dh, he got up at 5 with A so I could have a rest, he then went to work. I phoned him about 11 about some random thing and someone answered his phone and said "He's just had a dizzy spell and is lying down". Turns out he went all light-headed and dizzy, threw up and had a big headache. Dh is never ill. He came home when he was feeling a bit better but is still not great. Hoping it's just a virus or something.

mlic could you go with both boys and let E sit with a special treat (something he likes to eat/play with) so the pool is where he gets something good and then maybe lure him in after a couple of goes? L didn't go for a year after she screamed for the whole 10mins we were in. This time she really didn't want to go in but we carried her in and once there she didn't want to leave. I think a year's break helped her move on.

S bit me today and it was horrible. 4 little gnashers chomping in He's started biting just before he latches so it's like he's making sure it's there before he feeds, normally it's not hard but this morning it coincided with L opening the door to say 'don't worry Bear, S go sleep now' cue extra hard I've-just-been-thrown-cos-I-can't-do-more-than-one-thing-at-a-time bite.

Off to the shops in a bit, got to find a dress for Saturday's wedding.

stac smoking is a freedom of choice to a point, if you can jump in you car or walk down the road yourself to get them them do it if you want to but if the poor woman cant even get down the stairs in one go there is something seriously wrong with your sil to give in to her mum!!
been docs today he is reffering me to a councellor, its all a bit too deep for me but he thinks situation has changed and pnd now isnt an issue, he thinks when I losy tristan I just put it in a box and didnt grieve, this was in Wales and now im being forced to go back for dh's mums birthday he thinks its opened the wounds and doesnt want me to go

we had a bit of a mad few days with dh and F having tummy bugs, A cutting her lip badly, breaking the lock on the villa door, leaving a bag at the airport etc but the last day has been miles better. amazing place, so beautiful and HOT! shame i also seem to have lost my camera charger and my battery ran out today....

stac Ive got to go back last week after ive decided what sort of councelling I want to go for, told dh he is willing to cancel, but as my mum said earlier it will eat me up with guilt and make me feel worse if we dont go, doc said im a people pleaser and I need to start putting myself first, I worry so much about what people think and im a perfectionist, my mum said tonight everything doesnt have to be 100% she said im putting too much pressure on myself trying to be a perfect mum, wife, daughter, party planner, i even had a panic attack yesterday over party bags FFS and today over the grss not looking green enough!!
well done to J and to you for losing weight, my doc says while putting pressure on myself and being all wound up I wont lose the weight he said the key is to relax!

What kind have they offered you memphis? I totally understand the need for perfection as you know the problem is setting too high standards. Remember we're always here to listen, goodness knows I've ranted enough and your here helping us too. Thanks for your kind comments about J and I.
