I didnt stay on at 6th form at my school but they had a prom, I was with someone from another school so I went to their prom!

DP is in Brighton today, he had to get up at 5:30am.

Im trying to get a long range forecast, so far it says its going to be sunny on the wedding day with some cloud. Really hope it stays that way.

CakeandRoses · 09/06/2011 09:23

malibustac · 09/06/2011 09:46

cakes the doc doubled the anti-d's and gave me diazepam to take the edge off the panic. Hv was meant to be visiting today but she has to type up a report. Thanks for asking.

albrecht r starts in cot then ends up in with us most of the time. She seems to get caught in the cot bars.

mlic you just made me wonder if R is a bit uncomfortable in her cot?

CakeandRoses · 09/06/2011 11:51

Hi all

I'm back. What have I missed. Seems like a fucking lot.

Had a nice time back in England. M wasn't in a very good mood. She smiled and laughed at everybody on the plane back but seems to not get on with family and friends so screamed at various aunties, uncles, nannas, grandads... Hmm

We decided on a really nice area / town for our future home, so am very excited at the moment researching it.

We also had a little holiday at the coast where we shared a room with M. One night we went to bed and giggled and whispered a bit. Suddenly M sat up in her cot, laughed out loud, then crashed back down again. So, so cute. As if she was saying, you are so funny guys.

Right, I'll try and catch up but am not sure I'll manage.

DesperateHousewife21 · 09/06/2011 13:00

Ugh Ive been in all day, Dylan isnt even dressed. Just had lunch and feel so tireddd. D is destroying things and its meant to rain.

CakeandRoses · 09/06/2011 13:13

Yo truds welcome back!!

sounds like you had a mixed time. Hopefully M will be happier once she sees your family more often.

Can you pm the town if i'll know it/it;s near me?

I like 'arse-crack of dawn' too mlic, describes how it invariably makes me feel quite well.

trudyla very exciting that you've scoped out a place to live! and cute about M laughing at you both :)

5.15am for me this morning, nearly bedtime now I reckon

Didn't get to cook that cake yesterday, L is in a tricky stage at the mo and is requiring mucha atencion and as such I've not managed to bake. Need to go and have lunch but will hopefully catch up with you all later.

(I did go to a 'prom' but then I went to an american secondary school so it was allowed Grin)

Albrecht · 09/06/2011 13:53

Thanks everyone, you are a nice lot aren't you?

Ok sleep. I never wanted to co-sleep but just gradually was going insane through not sleeping (unfortunately I mean that literally) as he has never slept well. He is in his own room and I do start off in our bedroom but he wakes so often I wouldn't get any sleep if I had to go back and forward. He sleeps on a double mattress on the floor so I can sneak away once he's asleep (yeah right) as he was waking being put down into a cot (tried warming the sheet all that stuf). I figured I'd try nightweaning when he was on solids but he's STILL hardly eating anything. He tastes everything you offer him so that's all good, he just doesn't swallow much or eat a lot of bulky stuff that might fill him up. Obviously he's not hungry 4000 times a night but atleast he was going back to sleep easily enough. Now he's not even doing that. I can't do cc as I have huge anxiety about his welfare, convinced he's suffering in some way blah blah. I just can't shake that feeling (that's the post traumatic stress from the birth). I'll try one nap tomorrow but I think he has a problem with getting overtired and then not being able to wind down - he used be terrible about naps and scream all evening. Which nap would you cut? He normally sleeps around 9-10am and 2-3.30pm. Any suggestions welcome, except cc.

Cake Facebook gp you say, how would you go about finding that then? And I know but we were students and considered crisps, chips, noodles and veg thrown out by the halal shop a balanced diet.

Support gp went ok. The thrower was absent. Everyone else has been going for ages and their children are older so I feel I don't fit in but I'll go again next week. Sunny here so we're going for a walk when he's awake. Hope its nice round all your places too.

malibustac · 09/06/2011 16:14

cakes its pnd Sad basically its always been there but was kept at bay by using anti-d's early on now the lack of sleep has gave me a dip but it should sort itself out soon

Welcome back trudy wonder were you's are moving too?

albrecht glad support group went well, is this the first you have been?

Totally forgot what else I've read my heads a bit messy. Dp's mums been took to hospital to try and stabilise her oxygen levels, she's been ill for ages so we're hoping she gets kept in and built up a bit.

MelissaM · 09/06/2011 19:02

Just lost my second post! [Angry]

Busy busy day week with another gp appointment for L today. Ears still read and have more abx to start his 10 week low dose course. At least I will only have to remember once a day. Poor thing Jas a rash though from the abx and his tummy is still sore. Think that was keeping him (and me) up last night. Was about 12.30 b4 I got him settled after waking at 11 (dh only settled him at 9.30) then he was really restless during the night but at least we got some sleep (but only cos I took him into the spare room with me. Could also have been feeling rotten from the mmr.

Stac sorry about anti d's but hope you start feeling better soon

Sorry can't remember what else I was going to say

Dylthan · 09/06/2011 19:09

Labrador we're third in line for a bitch ( the first is going to Texas) so its still not guranteed that we will get one but keeping our fingers crossed. She's quite large though apparently so it looks promising.

Dylthan · 09/06/2011 19:14

Melissa poor L I hope the abx start to help soon.

MelissaM · 09/06/2011 19:32

Thanks. Am fed up of trying to remember to them to him [bad mummy] and the yellow staining in his skin clothes and nappies.

Hopefully the car is fixed. Is being test driven now then hopefully we can pick it up in the morning and dh can give it a good run. typically I borrowed mil's car this afternoon so I can get E to ballet without a bus and two trains

Struggling to get l settled again to night. His belly his full if wind and the gripe water isn't shifting it :-(

DesperateHousewife21 · 09/06/2011 19:39

stac I hope your DPs mum gets better :(

Its my sister's baby shower tomorrow, its a surprise, Im picking her up but she doesnt know where shes going or anything. Shes only got 2.5 weeks left, fingers crossed not before the wedding.
