Awww, lovely that "old folk" are popping back to say hello at this special time of year Hello!
Didn't get on yesterday, so belated HAPPY BIRTHDAYS to George, Ruby & Austen for yesterday; and HAPPY BIRTHDAY for today to Erin, Joe, Alice & Maia - blimey, April 13th was a mighty busy day on our thread four yrs ago!! Hope you are all having fun celebrating!! xx

That's great news Oooggs - what a relief!
Hope all the birthday boys and girls are having fun. Doesn't the weather make such a difference? Last week I was despairing of the holidays and counting off the days, but this week I have relaxed into it and am having a great time (helped by them both being in childcare today so I can work !). Had a WONDERFUL weekend away at a hotel to celebrate a friend's 40th - such fun!

Great news about the school Oooogs - well done
Just celebtrating my big girl's bithday - 13 today! Then B's birthday on Thursday - all very expensive. Definately some dud family planning on our part This time 4 years ago I was trying very hard not to go into labour as dd1 did not want to share her birthday.

I'm just writing P's invitations now. She's having a joint party with DD2 who is going to be 6 on May 20th. We've hired a local Pavilion and bouncy castle and my friend's doing face painting - should be fun fun fun!!!

Erin got in at the local primary school . I was pretty confident she would cos I don't think it's oversubscribed or anything and we live very close. It doesn't rate very highly on the Ofsted report (either good or satisfactory) but she's loved the nursery there and the staff are really lovely. They do make a point of saying they'll always do what is best for the kids regardless of Ofsted iykwim.
Fingers crossed everyone else gets the places they want. Hope your appeal wins Yvie.

Orla is well, she's a cheeky little thing and far more adventurous than Erin ever was. I took the rubbish out one day and came back to find she'd climbed up onto the sofa, reached a pack of biscuits, got into the pack and was sat on the sofa stuffing her face
Sorry to hear B is ill (missed that before when skimming). Hope she's better soon.

Glad K had a good day despite it all My little P says she "doesn't like Peppa Pig any more because I am a big girl" I don't think she is too big for PP. I'm 28 and I LOVE PP!!!! She's Disney Princess crazy instead!!!!!!
Had a super day out at the local Science Centre - was there from 10am tilo 5pm Shattered and needing Pimms!!!!
