Plan is grand. Will someone tell my pa to stick in diary? :)

Silver ditto ditto.

Leaky boobs = wet bed. Can't be arsed to change sheets.

Trying to sleep as Babymoo asleep for 15 nanosecs thx to GM.

rollerbaby · 05/03/2011 15:15

Ooh Babymoo swim pics dead cute. He iz merman.

SilverSky · 05/03/2011 17:44

Ahhh sweet moo!

MB not happy bunny. Tears, unsettled, crying and whinging again feels a bit warm. Not sure if again due to vaccs or it's the calm before the pox storm. Or over tiredness or teeth. Think too common to blame teeth cos surely at nearly 18wks it's too soon.

AND we're sposed to be going out tonight.

CurlyCasper · 05/03/2011 18:18

silv we've been having teething bother since 3 months. red cheeks and lots of dribble along with the misery. Still no teeth though. Mind you, by the looks of her face and chewing habits today, we're in for another bout of gum pain. Perhaps this one will be fruitful?

hope you manage to have a good night out.

honey will you share the pics?

Envy of London meet, but I'm making plans to eat cake with alps in the arse end of nowhere if possible.

Muser · 05/03/2011 18:43

We have green poo. Google tells me this could be normal or not. We shall mostly be charting poo colour this weekend.

SilverSky · 05/03/2011 18:55

Green poo is normal. Means le bebe has been scoffing foremilk and not taking hindmilk ( aka the creamy rich good stuff). Nowt to worry about and nowt you can do about this as she will take what she needs/wants whether it's fore/hind or t'otherwise!

Muser · 05/03/2011 19:05

Google is all "oversupply, too rapid weight gain, discomfort, gas, scary scary".

I do try and make sure she finishes a boob. She does get very fussy once she's been on for a while, starts twisting at the boob.

OkieCokie · 05/03/2011 19:59

Muse step away from Dr Google. Green poo is ok really. You will find you have some very weird colours and consistencies to come.

Share pics of merman Moo. The ones we had done of mini oke were utter shite and tres tres expensive so didn't buy any.

Mini Oke has properly realised that he can get out of his big boy bed. Found him staring at me at 5.15am this morning which freaked me out a bit. Bedtime tonight was a bit of a challenge and have had to put him back to bed already about 5 times but I think the threat of no treats tomorrow may have done he trick and he seems to have stayed put.

Peppa has a very bad cough. She is coughing like she has smoked 40 Bensons.

I am home alone on a Saturday night. Very poor.

OkieCokie · 05/03/2011 20:29

What does the FESH Oracle think of this. After a week of night time wanderings I think I am prepared to try anything. I would like to think in a week or so that my son could be the kid in the video!

SilverSky · 05/03/2011 20:48

muse twisting at boob sounds like wind. It's v similar to MB. Removefrom boob and burp. Return to boob. If your PFB is struggling with wind get her on the Infacol asap. Takes a week to get in system but works a treat!!

We are going out. Despite a row, tears and shiz. Men are shit. Said it.

Sorry ok not had time to do linky..... Tmoz I shall.

PollyPoo · 05/03/2011 22:10

Muse BB also did the twisting at boob when she had oral thrush. Might want to just look in her mouth, just in case.

Muser · 05/03/2011 22:14

I did check her mouth yesterday and today as I saw white bits once, but they came away and all is pink now.

Postnatal clinic tomorrow so I shall check with the midwife. I do find it very hard to get a burp out of her.

PollyPoo · 05/03/2011 22:16

I agree Silv, men are shit. I left BB with TG this avo while I took Boo shopping. When I left she was just finishing a bottle and ready to go to sleep. When we returned hours later I could hear her screaming from outside. She'd only had half an hours sleep in the previous 5 hrs... ffs. Of course he hadn't done any of the jobs he'd promised to do either, like wash and sterilise bottles, make up formula, put the washing away or make dinner. oh no... instead, he had spread loads of his fecking toy soldiers all over the kitchen table and was taking photos of them while BB screamed her lungs out in the other room. I was fucking fuming. Angry

Now we have an extremely overtired screechy BB and it is my turn to do the late feed. Deep joy. BB has finally crashed out and now Boo is awake with a horrible hacking cough. I think it is going to be a long night.

What is everyone else up to? Let me live vicariously. Grin

PollyPoo · 05/03/2011 22:17

Muse I second Silv's recommendation of Infacol, really helps with getting the wind up.

PollyPoo · 05/03/2011 22:20

Hopefully it was just milk then muse. Thrush is horrible, poor BB has had it 3 times. Sad

Muser · 05/03/2011 22:24

Sorry to hear about rubbish men. I'd be fuming in your place Polly.

AlpinePony · 06/03/2011 06:57

pol I shall be your spiritual sister. Thursday night he slept on the couch due to "bad behaviour", Friday night he worked and I told him not not bother coming home if he had the chance to leave early and last night too he spent on the couch due to "bad behaviour" (over-feeding the baybee again ). Hmm (TTC#2 not actually going so well right now! Wink - No, am not using the withdrawal of sex as a weapon, just might accidentally find myself bludgeoning him to death during the act if we were to attempt such a thing.) Naturally, I am the "lazy" one who does nothing because on top of the usual household chores and looking after a sick baby which is currently back to a newborn routine feeding wise, I had the cheek to take a bath and go to the supermarket (not simultaneously obv, that would be weird!). A trip to the supermarket is seen as "going off out and enjoying yourself". Hmm It's carnaval here and shops will be shut until tuesday - good luck eating your dust mister. The bath was pure indulgence, I'll not argue with that. But having been shat & pissed over since thursday I felt I deserved it. I am still reeling from him bringing the baby in to my office on Thursday and him puking BUCKETS. If the baby had been sick near his Xbox you can just imagine the drama. Prick.

silv my darling, what's your dickhead done?

(Do not normally like making derogatory comments about men in general.)

Right, well I'm going to read the news and make some porridge. And then , I'm going to go to the stables and he can fuck himself.

AlpinePony · 06/03/2011 07:01

Friday, not Thursday - brain on shutdown. Oh and Friday when we went to the docs, I had to make the phonecall to get the appointment, then I had to email my colleagues to apologise for not being able to finish something as I needed to take the baby to the doctor for an emergency appointment - which made me feel about 3" tall and doing exactly the sort of thing which people bitch about mothers doing in the workplace, then of course I had to drive them there. I don't begrudge Bear for needing a doctor's appointment obv., but must I really be responsible for "everything"? He says I always moan, I say he should get things right the first time, he says I'm "impossible" because I never ask for help so I expect everyone else to be able to do everything single-handedly. He may have a point... but seriously gals, how difficult and how much guidance does one need to put the clothes in the washing machine?

CurlyCasper · 06/03/2011 07:30

definitely a common issue: if we don't ask for help, we don't need it Hmm. My reply: we are both parents, why should only one of us have any foresight?! Of course, they always fuck it up anyway when they do help Wink

SilverSky · 06/03/2011 07:49

Alps the usual not thinking!! Then when I had clothing crisis telling me "you have loads of clothes". Then when I find an outfit tells me it looks rubbish. Ok it's not like my wardrobe is empty but out of the "loads of clothes" most I've had for years. Literally. The remainder are office clothes which clearly I don't want to wear to the pub. My usual painting the town red kit won't fit due to new monoboob and weightlifting thighs which I invested a lot of calories into gaining during the growing of MB. The rest are maternity clothes. I don't want to wear bleeding maternity clothes ANY MORE! I AM NOT DIFFED even if my body looks as tho it might be due to me newly crafted mummy tummy.

pols & alps your two fellas can fight it out for "naff bloke of the week award". HI is clearly still in training. Never must the ESH menfolk ever meet. For they shall continue to plot against us.

CUNextTuesday · 06/03/2011 08:55

Hom went out on his own last night, a very rare occurrence, and now has a mighty old hangover. This can only mean one thing. And he's been for a piss so that's that one thing out of the way.

OP posts:
Okiecokie · 06/03/2011 13:40

Alps you do make me laugh. I almost want to you bring JB over at the end of the month for us all to meet. Is bear better?

Mr C is on the sofa sleeping off his hangover too (typically both children are asleep despite this NEVER happening during the week Confused). He had a day and night pass out yesterday and he left the house at 11.30am and returned at 3.15am. He has been next to useless all day. To be honest I don't really mind too much as he is usually very good, he even knows how to put a load of washing in but believe me, once Peppa is off the boob I will be cashing in.

Medee · 06/03/2011 13:48

oh god, is this what I have in my future from MrM?

CurlyCasper · 06/03/2011 13:54

hopefully not medee! Any signs of action with you?

I've set up a blind date with a local mum. Is it pathetic that I am quite excited?

rollerbaby · 06/03/2011 14:00

Ha ha - not allowed to join in menfolk bashing as mr moo does occasionally check up on me when on my laptop!! They don't know they are bloody born is all I'm going to say.

I FORGOT my baby's vaccination appointment on friday afternoon as I was too busy working. Oops. Also did not pay him much attention and just let him goo on the new playgym bought for said purpose.

Will definitely share babymoo swim pics when I finally get them on CD for the exorbitant sum of £120. Mr Moo thinks ridiculous, but I think luvely. My baby swimming, I mean who wouldn't want that blown up on the wall above their bed or somthing? :)

okie that is one big ole day out your other half had. I'm sure we must have a week away in ibiza in credits by now???

muser we had weeks of horrific wind which caused no end of pulling off and crying during and after feeds. Was hideous but went overnight at 3 months. I cannot offer you advice other than burp burp burp and turn them over on lap, tiger in tree etc etc. Infacol did seem to work when he got really worked up but we never gave it daily cos I am fick anf always forgot.

Also green poo for 3 weeks and then went again overnight. Dr said was little tummy bug or soemthing, but he was happy in himself and gaining weight so they really don't care unless poo is white or black or red.

Gave babymoo first taste of babyrice this lunchtime. Fecking hilarious. 3 days early of 17 weeks but he is huge so don't think I am risking too much. He looked a bit surprised but loved the spoon. Not sure he swallowed much. Just keep doing same thing I suppose?
