As so many of us are not coming and I am a bit of a control freak and getting a bit anxious that we have no definite plans I thought I'd start a separate thread to discuss the meet up!!

mapletrees if we are catching the train together I'd like to book a ticket asap.

What time are we thinking of meeting? How long/which bus etc will we need to get to the pub?

cinnamon very boring thing about car seats.. I've got a Maxi-Cosi and just wanted to check that you aren't going to take out a Maxi-Cosi base so that mine can fit in? It took dp so long to fit our base we haven't taken it out since . (Not planning on bringing the base btw as it works fine with just the seatbelt.)

Hmm, cinnamon if you're not bringing James, then I'm wondering whether to bring Justin?! He'll either be bored stiff and driving me up the wall or sat in the corner nearest the food, on my DS, stuffing his face whenever the game lets him (slight exaggeration, but not too far from the truth!)

No Mapletrees I have carseats that stay in the car, so no bases or anything complicated like that!

Frigg I'll park outside the station I think. There is a carpark behind the station I can wait in for upto 10 mins but I don't know how pushchair-friendly it is... I'll find out today and report back later, but for now, outside the front

Me too. I was really disappointed when so many people dropped out especially as this Thursday wasn't the best day for me but really glad it's going ahead now. Will be totally exhausted from all the driving but nevermind I'll survive

I put your postcode into my map thingy on my phone and it seems to be a turn between the pub and the roundabout that you turn left at to get into town, very technical . Any tips with tricky bits would be great otherwise I think I'll be ok.

Does everyone think they'll find the pub ok? If you've got a sat nav you'll probably be fine or the aa route planner is usually good.
