Well he had a sleepless night too I suppose, and to be honest we didn't really talk this morning because we were both tired so I didn't say put your dishes in the dish washer please, or take out the garbage when you go...
However the kitchen and the laundry stuff is a long running issue in our marriage.
Did the dishes and kitchen stuff quickly enough -only an hour- (tho I had Meg whining at me the whole time NOOOOOOnooooooo! -and that's where I really get a bit more :( because I told him over the weekend and actually last night too when Moo came to our bed, that I really cannot get things done efficiently with her, especially when she's tired too as she whines constantly and anything/everything I do is wrong and I get told off and she takes things and moves them BACK to where I just picked it up from... I pointed out that when they were gone for 45min to the store on Saturday I got TONS done because she wasn't there and he acknowledged this...)
I'm taking a break now and laying down on the couch (I've put a movie in for Meg) because honestly I am knackered and in pain. 10 more minutes and I'll do more laundry (and get the rest of it off the floor in my bedroom)

I've just got no choice today or tomorrow as things must get done so that we can leave a clean place, and on time (3am!) on Wednesday morning. He always seems to do this when it gets to crunch time when we go away...

If I were you Auld I'd so be laying down having a slob day! Enjoy your relaxing and get better quickly.

bebemooneedsabreak · 18/04/2011 10:18

feeling SpriteNR above my belly button today:) s/he is getting big :)

AuldAlliance · 18/04/2011 11:04

Yeees, but you shouldn't have to tell him to put his dirty dishes in the dishwasher, or that the rubbish by the door is not a decorative item to be carefully placed to one side when exiting.

Have read Elle. Not sure it hasn't contributed to my sense of dizziness. All those waiflike models. I thought I had skinny legs, but these are insane.

Going to have lunch, then nap. God, being a SAHM when your kids at school looks quite nice from where I am.

Happy birthday to The Cub

bebemooneedsabreak · 18/04/2011 14:53

I've been vindictive and only put mine and moo's clothes away...his are piled on his chest of drawers...

I've had way too much caffeine today; I had a cup of coffee and a chocolate bar and a glass of coke...I feel like someone's wrung me out and hung me to dry...

Bicnod · 18/04/2011 19:34

Hello ladies :)

Vezzie - CONGRATULATIONS!! So exciting Grin I can't wait for July...

Schulte - what a bunch of little s**ts Angry you poor thing that must have been really upsetting :( have you been back to the playground since? Were F and H upset by it or did it go over their heads? That sort of thing really gets my hackles up and, like BB, I'm unable to restrain myself from intervening, but I think you did the right thing just leaving - they don't sound like they would have listened to you and you wouldn't want H and F witnessing their mummy being back chatted which is probably what would have happened. I wouldn't worry too much about them spotting F at school in Sept - I'm sure it won't have affected those girls/stayed in their memory as much as it has affected you. Sending big hugs - when can we meet up again so I can feed you cake and hug you in person? x

Auld - really glad you got to spend some time with DH - it makes such a difference. Really hope he finds some way of making his hours more family friendly.

Bebe good news you've agreed on names. We've got a boys name sorted but stuck on the girls names. I think this one's another boy so hopefully won't be an issue.

Zulu - I've always said three but definitely feeling the strain more this time around. I'm so so sooooooooooooo tired all the time. And my back hurts. And I can't sleep. And I feel periodically nauseous. And I'm getting braxton hicks that are so strong they take my breath away and I've still got 3 months to go! Sorry. Whinge over. I'm also very very happy and excited :)

Happy birthday to all the beautiful April babes - can't wait to meet up and see how everyone has grown in the summer - are we still thinking June some time?

bebemooneedsabreak · 19/04/2011 08:33

Count down until departure: T minus 17 hours (and counting) Grin

Dh's departing words to me this morning: I'm taking the garbage by the door Wink

BabiesBolat · 20/04/2011 06:18

Happy Birthday Sebastian and Beth.

Happy birthday to Samual for Monday.

I'm at work. In the office. By myself. It's 6.15. I got in at 5.45. I'm so tired, I could fall asleep at my desk! BUT I must get this bloody tender done today!!!

And I have to DH from the airport at 6 tomorrow then we have to drive to NI overnight! Urgh I'm tired just thinking about it.

Hello all, Bic I too am so bloody uncomfortable and I'm only 4 months!!!

PuzzleRocks · 20/04/2011 08:08

Happy Birthday Sebastian and Beth. xx

PuzzleRocks · 20/04/2011 08:13

Bloody hell BB, I kid myself that I work hard until I read your posts.

Bets on what BB will be doing when she goes into labour. I reckon tarmaccing a drive or competing in a triathlon. Wink

BabiesBolat · 20/04/2011 15:40

HAHA! Although I'm not sure I'll be able to go into labour forcefully I mean naturally this time as they want to control it which I'm a bit upset about but also not going to fight it.

I'm now dying, just got out of a client meeting and reckon I'll be up until about midnight doing this ruddy tender document!

Oh well last day, tomorrow is officially holiday Smile

How is everyone today? it's boiling outside and i just had a mr whippy ice cream that made me feel better!

BabiesBolat · 21/04/2011 05:25

Morning all

Happy Birthday Sam, Hazel and Edmund.

BabiesBolat · 21/04/2011 05:29

Ia m a walking zombie today. Just about to leave to get DH at the airport then have to come home, talk my boss through how to submit this tender online, wash and dry DH's stuff from his trip (well he'll do it but if I leave him completely alone he mixes colours, whites and tissues!), pack, shower, sleep, then leave at 5.30 to drive to Wales and get the ferry to Dublin. blurgh x

BabiesBolat · 21/04/2011 05:29

Everyone else got the new funky-lookin MN with rounded edges and purple and blue???

BabiesBolat · 21/04/2011 05:35

Bic - I had the really strong Braxton Hicks with K to the point once I genuinely thought I was going into labour (although when I did actual go in to labour I realised that they were actually like a little pin pricks of pain compared to what was coming my way Grin)

I also said to DH I would have 4 but now I am a bit petrified of that thought now. What if I get twins again and end up with 5?? And not sure I can physically go through it again. My body this time is forcing me to stop as I can't cope. I was working until my due date with K and this time I could happily go on maternity leave now and sleep for the next 4 months (I say for months as the dr says it's likely they will either induce me / c-section around 36 weeks but knowing my luck I'll go to 42 weeks or something!! Hmm.

Where's vezzie with the pics so I can coo over little O?

bebemooneedsabreak · 21/04/2011 07:21

here in the UK...

BabiesBolat · 21/04/2011 08:27

Glad to be home?

PuzzleRocks · 21/04/2011 08:30

Go for it BB. Think what a riot Christmas will be.

Seriously, i'm one of five. My Mum had 3 by the time she was 20.

PuzzleRocks · 21/04/2011 08:31

Happy Birthday Sam, Hazel and Edmund.

PuzzleRocks · 21/04/2011 08:32

Ooh, welcome back. How are you this morning?

WhatFreshHellIsThis · 21/04/2011 14:25

once again, i am on the point of resigning my job.

seems to come round with alarming regularity.

AuldAlliance · 21/04/2011 14:53

What's up, WFH?

OP posts:
WhatFreshHellIsThis · 21/04/2011 15:03

hi auld! Sorry to hear about your troubles Sad

just the usual why the hell am I working with people I don't like for an organisation that doesn't support you in any way in a job that if anything is making me less employable, seeing as it's public sector (generally reviled by all) and various government decisions have made it utterly demoralising and deskilled and demotivated everyone.

but we'd be seriously broke if I didn't. Not completely, but no luxuries, no contingency, no fun.

PuzzleRocks · 21/04/2011 18:43

Sorry to hear that WFH. I hope you enjoy the extra long weekend away from it all.

bebemooneedsabreak · 22/04/2011 21:53

BB I hope you're getting time to relax...
WFH :( no good :( really feel for you; quit me job just before Moo for such reasons (but at the time we had money... the n very quickly didn't and regretted my decision

Loving being back in the UK but it's been gogogogo since we got here and i swear i haven't breathed yet; even tho today i was supposed to have easy day i still ended up running all over the place....hips and pelvis driving me nuts. 13 hour drive was killer (but only the last 4hrs really) and it's ruined me again:( we're taking 2 days to come back; Ben's going to call in on tues and tell them it was just not possible to get back because of me

scan went really well, had a lovely newly qualified scanner lady (what are they actually called?) she said, usually it 20 or 30 min, but I'll scan you and then just get my supervisor in and redo/check things, so it might be 40-45 is that ok? (it was) the scan was super thorough from what i could tell and she showed us all the bits and commented how big and healthy the baby seemed :) :)... and we saw 3 lines -so we're 80% sure it's a girl :)

there was more i was going to say but cannot remember and i'm tired so i'm off to bed.

xx hope you're all having lovely holiday xx
